There are those moments that are just crystal clear. For New York Times’ David Brooks, one of them is that the anti-Trump movement is not just smug and insular—it sucks. Not only that, but it’s getting dumber. Brooks says this as someone who is admittedly anti-Trump. Yet, he devotes his entire piece to how this movement is just hopeless. Besides being a confederacy of idiots, Brooks notes that they’re insular. They hardly know anyone who supports the president or works in his administration. If they do, they don’t bring it up over beers. So, it’s a vicious cycle of anti-Trumpers...

Boy, it's cold across America. It's so cold, politicians are picking their own pockets, people are flocking inside the U.S. Capitol just for the hot air, and the outlook for anti-Trumpers has been downgraded from miserable and bewildered to hopelessly depressed. Here's one reason anti-Trumpers are especially down this winter: Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD). According to About.com , this woeful malady is triggered by overcast winter weather. Lack of exposure to sunlight can cause low levels of melatonin and serotonin. Low levels of both cause depression-like symptoms. Lots of people are affected by SAD at this time every year, but,...

An anti-Trump protester proudly heckled the animatronic of President Trump at Walt Disney World and posted a video of his “protest” to social media this week. Jay Malsky, an actor and comedian, created a scene at Walt Disney World’s Hall of Presidents attraction earlier this week, much to the confusion of families in attendance. Right before the animatronic of President Trump was started to speak, Malsky started a series of “Lock him up” chants. Malsky immediately faced a backlash on social media after he decided to share the video he recorded of his protest. In a comment to The Wrap,...

Many of us came into 2017 expecting the worst. And the worst is what we got. Donald Trump has been every bit as horrible as one might have expected; he continues to prove himself utterly unfit for office, morally and intellectually. And the Republican Party turns out to be composed entirely of cynical apparatchiks, willing to sell out every principle — and every shred of their own dignity — as long as their donors get big tax cuts. Yet I’m ending this year with a feeling of hope, because tens of millions of Americans have risen to the occasion. The...

The New York Times, citing only anonymous sources, accused President Trump of saying Haitians “all have AIDS” and Nigerians live in “huts,” and several attendees at the meeting then went on the record to say the accusations were false. According to The Times’ report, the president was furious after seeing a report of how many foreigners had entered the country since he became president. “More than 2,500 were from Afghanistan, a terrorist haven, the president complained

Whitfield was among the Hollywood personalities selected as surrogates by Barack Obama’s presidential campaign. She crisscrossed the country to get out the African-American vote, and on Nov. 4, 2008, she and other surrogates gathered and held their breath. The Baton Rouge native, who describes herself as a “political being,” believes Trump’s presidency feeds racial strife, with the country facing a “resurgence of racism and white supremacy and tribalism.” “The election of Obama undermined so deeply the white power structure of our country that was so terrified of losing power that any alternative was better than women gaining ground, than black...

Donald Trump requires an opposition to keep him in check, but also gives them plenty of ammunition to work with. So how did they still manage to blow it?The beginning of this year presented Democrats and their sympathizers in the media with both an important job and a big opportunity. Donald Trump governs in a style that somehow manages to combine authoritarian bluster with a total lack of self-discipline. He requires an effective political opposition to keep him in check, which also gives the opposition plenty of ammunition to work with.So how is that the Left spent most of 2017...

A string of recent GOP defeats suggest a 'blue wave' in next year's midterms. It's a nice theory, but Democrats simply aren't up to the task. In the wake of Roy MooreÂ’s loss in AlabamaÂ’s special Senate election last week, together with a Republican loss in the Virginia governorÂ’s race last month, pundits are beginning to murmur that the GOP should brace for huge losses in the 2018 midterms. Democrats, weÂ’re told, are poised to take control of the Senate, the House of Representatives, at least five statehouses, and maybe even a half-dozen governorships. ItÂ’s going to be a blue...

As if we needed more evidence of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s bias and overreaching in his investigation into Trump’s “ties” to Russia, we have now learned that thousands of emails were taken from the Trump transition team through the General Services Administration. According to a Trump attorney, these emails were improperly obtained through “unlawful conduct.” Axios reported that the transition emails contain sensitive information such as matters on potential appointments, gossip about particular senators, speculation about Trump nominees’ vulnerability, and strategizing about everything from press statements to war to policy planning and taxes. “Mueller is using the emails to confirm...

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) hired a top consultant to investigate the agency’s employees who criticize the Trump administration. Allan Blutstein, a vice president at the opposition research firm Definers Public Affairs, reportedly filed dozens of Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests with the agency over the past year to find dirt on agency employees who criticized the EPA or the Trump administration while on the clock, the New York Times revealed. “I wondered if they were emailing critical things about the agency on government time and how frequently they were corresponding about this,” Blutstein told the Times in an...

Have you noticed that if you fail to do, think, and vote exactly the way that the liberals and their Fredocon minions demand, you’re a racist, sexist, homophobic, child molesting, greedy, NRA terrorist determined to murder kids? Yeah, you probably have. And you’ve probably also realized that if you do everything that the liberals and their Never Trump minions demand, you’re still a racist, sexist, homophobic, child molesting, greedy, NRA terrorist determined to murder kids. When you understand that, you’re on your way to being conservative woke. And when you’re conservative woke, you’re ready to deploy the most powerful non-bullet...

With the Republican National Committee resuming funding to Roy Moore’s Senate campaign, some Republican voters are once again asking themselves: “Where do we go now?” These voters have felt adrift throughout the two years since Donald Trump began his quest for the presidency. With Moore being accused of sexually targeting underage girls, and with video surfacing last week of him agreeing with Vladimir Putin that the United States is “the modern evil” in the world, some longtime GOP voters are feeling more lost than ever. That’s in part because, rather than make a play for these politically homeless voters, Democrats...

Performing in a classier place than usual with a fleet of musicians behind him working on union time, Rufus Wainwright didn’t shoot his mouth off nearly as much as he usually does during his elegant and dramatic two-set performance Saturday night with the Minnesota Orchestra at Orchestra Hall. In the one instance when he did go on a brief political tangent, though, the 44-year-old piano-pop tunesmith was met with protest by one of the orchestra’s veteran members, principal trumpeter Manny Laureano, who stormed off stage. The awkward moment came midway through the second set, as Wainwright sat at the grand...

Fox News personality and radio host Sean Hannity told former White House strategist and Breitbart executive Steve Bannon that he thought that both of them “may end up in jail” for defending President Trump against a supposed “deep state” impeachment efforts. Last night Bannon hosted a special edition of “Breitbart News Tonight.” Hannity joined Bannon and Fox News political analyst Pat Goodell. It wasn’t long before the panel began to speculate about a secret plan orchestrated by “deep state” officials to remove Trump from the White House. “I think they’re coming after Trump because they understand they have to destroy...

(Video at Link) Sean Hannity went on a tirade Monday against the politicized Robert Mueller investigators. Crooked Cop Robert Mueller hired a team of FAR LEFT hacks and Trump-haters to FIND A CRIME to impeach President Trump. Every single top attorney on the team is a former Democrat administration official or Democrat donor. On Monday’s show Sara Carter from Circa News told Sean that there are more anti-Trump emails out there connected to the Mueller investigation team.

EXCLUSIVE – Two senior Justice Department officials have confirmed to Fox News that the department's Office of Inspector General is reviewing the role played in the Hillary Clinton email investigation by Peter Strzok, a former deputy director for counterintelligence at the FBI who was removed from the staff of Special Counsel Robert S. Mueller III earlier this year, after Mueller learned that Strzok had exchanged anti-Trump texts with a colleague. A source close to the matter said the OIG probe, which will examine Strzok's roles in a number of other politically sensitive cases, should be completed by "very early next...

WASHINGTON — The special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, removed a top F.B.I. agent from his investigation into Russian election meddling after the Justice Department’s inspector general began examining whether the agent had sent text messages that expressed anti-Trump political views, according to three people briefed on the matter. The agent, Peter Strzok, is considered one of the most experienced and trusted F.B.I. counterintelligence investigators. He helped lead the investigation into whether Hillary Clinton mishandled classified information on her private email account, and then played a major role in the investigation into links between President Trump’s campaign and Russia.
