The "Broadway Supports Black Lives Matter" concert scheduled for September 11 at Feinstein's/54 in New York City has been cancelled because parts of the activist group's platform has anti-Jewish and anti-Israel elements. The event was set to be directed by Tony award winner Tonya Perkins. Feinstein's/54 sent out the following email to Broadway World:

Authorities say they are investigating online threats to kill Jewish and Muslim students at a South Carolina high school. Spartanburg School District 5 said in a news release that a Byrnes High School student reported the threats Friday evening. The threats said Byrnes High would be attacked Tuesday and included pictures of a person in a gas mask and a knife with a swastika on the handle. …

A group of soccer hooligans in Poland torched effigies representing Jews and displayed banners calling for Jews to be burned in a shocking display during a match last Friday, according to local media reports and a global anti-Semitism watchdog. A family outing to an Emirates airline cable car in east London was interrupted by anti-Semitic shouts, telling the family to "go back to Isra-hell," The Mirror reported Wednesday. A film of the incident features a man's voice aggressively telling the family, "Don't come round here, go to Stamford Hill, you're not welcome." The man repeated the phrase multiple times. Two cases of anti-Semitic harassment were reported in London earlier this week, with groups of men threatening Jews and hurling vile insults. Both incidents occurred on Monday in the neighborhood of Newham. An Islamic journal where Huma Abedin, Hillary Clinton's top aide, was assistant editor published an article accusing Jews of 'working the American political system' – and being aided by the 'memory of the Holocaust'. Abedin, who is vice-chair of Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign, spent 12 years as an assistant editor for Journal of Minority Muslim Affairs. The US State Department has finally called out the anti-Semitism of the Palestinian Authority, in its newly-released annual report on international religious freedom.
