Oscar Biscet, a well-known human rights activist from Havana, spent over a decade in Cuban prisons for a host of alleged crimes: dishonoring national symbols, public disorder, inciting delinquent behavior, and, ultimately, crimes against state security.
“They put me in a very tiny cell full of tuberculosis patients,” he recalled last week. In another case of the perverse treatment he received for publicly opposing the regime, the prison guards threw him into a small cell with mental patients who had not been given their medication.
“They are more subtle than Hitler and Stalin, but they have the same mechanisms,” he said of the leaders of his home country.
While he witnessed fellow inmates being electrocuted and enduring physical abuse, Biscet was only subjected to what he calls “white torture,” which includes prolonged solitary confinement, extended periods of total silence followed by booming music, and other psychological abuse. “They constantly reminded me that they could do with me whatever they wanted at any given time.”

If Cuba was Israel’s only enemy, the world would be a better place.
Castro’s Cuba served as the Latin America penetration base for the PLO and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), George Habash’s Marxist terrorist organization possibly from the mid-60s but definitely in the 70’s onward.
I wrote about this in 1979 exposing Castro’s PLO/PFLP connections in regards to the PLO helping the Sandinistas in their overthrow of the Nicaraguan government of Somoza.
Also, the first airplane hijackers were Leila Khalid (Palestinian PFLP member if I remember correctly), and Patrick Arguello, misidentified as a Puerto Rican; actually a Sandinista - got killed for his efforts. She went to jail).
Only two Jewish newspapers (the one I worked for and one in Michigan) had the balls to publish this exclusive expose’. Some were afraid of a liberal backlash. Others either didn’t care or didn’t know about the subject.
However, what I wrote reappeared later in other books and publications.
So today, it is nothing new that Castro is Israel’s enemy. Glad this article was published just to remind the world what is really going on.
You can bet that it won’t be read in the White House and if you ask Hillary about it, I’m sure she will reply “What difference does it make now”?
I’m shocked about this because Castro is Jewish. Yes, his mother was Jewish, too.

Both of Fidel’s parents came from Spain; his father was of Galician descent and there is no evidence that Lina Ruz Gonzalez was Jewish. Fidel himself was raised Roman Catholic and went to a Jesuit school. Where did this “Jewish” story come from?
This week, (Biscet) made the trip to the Jewish state to warn Israelis not to let their guard down. “Castro is Israel’s number one enemy,” he said. The regime has one of the world’s best intelligence services and sells information to countries and organizations that seek the Jewish state’s destruction, and has also hosted Hamas and Hezbollah training camps, he noted.This is the main reason for Biscet’s trip to Israel, FTR.
“I am worried about Israel [and its relation to Cuba] because it’s the only example of democracy and liberty and freedom of religion in the Middle East. And Cuba is a dictatorship that violates all those basic rights,” Biscet said. “As Israelis travel to Cuba and enjoy the beautiful landscapes and beautiful beaches, they perhaps don’t realize that this dictatorship is also undermining the State of Israel wherever it can.” …

That’s like trying to paint Karl Marx as “Jewish” too, after his father had converted to Lutheranism and the man himself having been an atheist who wrote antisemitic treatises.
A score of 3 on the second link seems to put Fidel and Raul very far away from being of the tribe, so ethnically (and certainly ideologically) they are way less Jewish than Karl, who scores 11 on the same site.
A Jew is Jew no matter how far away from Torah they run.

There many self-hating Jews. He is one of many, but he still has a Jewish neshama no matter what he says or does.
I would say that hosting antisemitic terrorists dedicated to Israel’s utter destruction (never mind the USA and Europe) is quite a quenching of what little neshamah Castro may possess.
Talk to your rabbi about anti-Semitic, self-hating Jews and see what he says.
