Never again! This is the rallying cry Jewish communities worldwide have lived by since the Nazi Holocaust of World War Two. But the recent explosion of violent Jew-hatred among radical Muslims and their leftist supporters in Europe has caused European Jewry to adopt measures to ensure that ‘never again’ really means ‘never again’. Perhaps the most important of these actions has seen Jewish groups hire former, elite, Israeli soldiers from private security firms to protect synagogues and other Jewish establishments. “…in Germany alone, several hundred former, Israeli soldiers are charged with the protection of Jewish institutions,” Beni Tal, an Israeli...

I'm not sure if this is permitted, but if not the monitor can remove my post. I'm informing you about my book free on Kindle today, Aug. 11, because I believe it is in the public interest. The book is called: Injustice Hits Rock Bottom Down Under: The Vakras Case. Vakras and his girl-friend are non-Jews but they called out an anti-Semite on their Internet site referring to him as a left-wing Nazi. He sued and a brain-dead judge gave him $450,000 even though everything they said about him was true and their comments were virtually unknown among the public....

Joy Reid made this absurd comment during her August 4, 2014 MSNBC show: "So far the war in Gaza has left more than 1,800 Palestinians dead – the population equivalent to 100 9/11s." Others – e.g., Politico, have already debunked her use of “population equivalent.” Her comment is absurd for another reason: it insinuates that IDF operations in Gaza, launched for the purpose of ending Hamas rocket attacks, amount to terrorism on a grand scale. In effect, Reid is accusing Israel of being a terrorist state. We should agree that 9/11 was a terrorist attack against the United States. Those...

Bigotry: Thousands of angry Muslims, most of them Mideast immigrants, have taken to the streets to shout anti-Jewish epithets. Paris? Brussels? No, it's happening in U.S. cities. And it appears to be spreading at an alarming rate. You wouldn't know it from national media coverage, but militant pro-Hamas, anti-Israel demonstrations have broken out across this country, as well as European countries, in response to Israel defending itself against Hamas terrorists and rockets. In fact, according to the Anti-Defamation League, there have been more than 135 anti-Israel protests held in cities throughout the U.S. since July 8, when Hamas started the...

… Erdogan, 60, has been in power for 11 years, and because he can no longer serve as prime minister after three terms in office, he is now seeking election as president on Aug. 10. Ideally, he would of course like to become ruler for life, or at least until 2023, the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Republic of Turkey. He often mentions 2023, and the number is also featured prominently on his campaign posters. […] But he has become more and more authoritarian with each election win. He has had protests quelled and critics arrested, and has...

A majority of Germans have rejected former President Christian Wulff’s famous statement that “Islam is now also a part of Germany”, with 52 percent against the idea. Just 44 percent of people surveyed by the Forsa opinion institute for Stern magazine agreed with the former head of state that Islam was part of Germany. However, a second question asking how people thought Germany should deal with hostility to Muslims found that 53 percent of people believed that it should be treated as seriously as anti-Semitism. …

A Swedish politician resigned following sharp criticism after he wrote on Facebook that “Jewish pigs” are responsible for mass murders in Gaza, according to the English language Swedish website The Local.Omar Omeirat, Social Democrat candidate for the town council of Filipstad, central Sweden, gave a speech in the town on Friday evening advocating diversity and openness. On Saturday he sang a very different tune. “The entire Muslim world is sitting and watching while our brothers and sisters in Palestine are slaughtered by the Jewish pigs,” Omeritat wrote on his Facebook page, according to The Local. “May Allah strengthen those who...

Britain’s National Union of Students (NUS) has voted to boycott Israel, The Jewish Chronicle reports. The decision came at a special meeting on Monday, during which the NUS national executive committee adopted a policy of Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS).

I am a daughter of Holocaust survivors, and I’m sad to say, I’m glad both my parents are no longer living. What they would see, to their horror, is déjà vu back to 1933 with an explosion of anti-Semitism, especially in Europe, the UK and even in the U.S. and Canada. Throughout Europe, where Muslim populations have grown substantially along with a left-leaning constituency, out-of-control violence against Jews and Israel has erupted, with the perpetrators using the Israeli-Gaza conflict as an excuse for the “old hatred.” This is, in part, a direct result of the media coverage of the conflict....

Navi Pillay, U.N. high commissioner for human rights, has accused both Israel and Hamas militants of committing war crimes in the Gaza conflict. Her harshest criticism, as well as that of most nations, has been reserved for the Israeli government, charging that it has committed war crimes in direct violation of the Geneva Conventions. In the wake of the huge difference in casualties and property destruction, many in the West have accused the Israeli government of making a grossly disproportionate response to terrorist rocket attacks. A New York Times (July 23, 2014) article titled "As Much of the World Frowns...

Former President Jimmy Carter once again is getting way out in front of the U.S. government on the Middle East, co-authoring an op-ed in which he calls for Washington to recognize designated terror group Hamas as a legitimate “political actor”—while blasting Israel for its military campaign in the Gaza Strip. The scathing column on ForeignPolicy.com was written by Carter and Ireland’s former president Mary Robinson. The article called the current conflict a “humanitarian catastrophe,” and while acknowledging Hamas’ “indiscriminate targeting” of Israelis, focused its criticism on Israel. …

Two weeks ago, the British medical journal Lancet, considered to be one of the world’s leading medical publications, published “An open letter for the people in Gaza.” Signed by four European doctors on behalf of 20 others (17 from Italy and three from the UK), the letter had virtually nothing to do with medicine. Rather, it was a grotesque attack on Israel. Some excerpts: “We ask our colleagues, old and young professionals, to denounce this Israeli aggression.” “Israel’s behaviour has insulted our humanity, intelligence, and dignity as well as our professional ethics and efforts.” “We challenge the perversity of a...

At times, State Department Spokesperson Jen Psaki sounds like a mouthpiece for Hamas. She’s counting the supposed number of Israel’s attacks on “schools” in Gaza. No mention of the Hamas rockets being launched or hidden in or around those schools! She did say Israel has the right to defend herself, which should be the end of the story. Psaki needs to stop embarrassing our nation with her attacks on Israel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MKVKf_p_2U0

With Europe’s Muslim 'immigrants' come ancient hatreds and a revival of anti-Semitism. The Bergische Synagogue in the German town of Wuppertal has a history with arson. The nearly 120-year-old synagogue was burned down during Kristallnacht in 1938. Rebuilt after World War II, it was targeted again about a week ago by arsonists who threw Molotov cocktails at the house of worship (although, thankfully, they failed to set it aflame). Welcome to the New Europe, where the street thugs have learned a lot from the Old Europe. Their protests of the Gaza War during the past few weeks haven’t been anti-Israel...

The Lancet was once one of the world’s premier medical journals, but it has been captured by anti-Israel extremists, who are now banning letters of rejoinder from Israeli academics.  This is part of an effort to isolate and ultimate strangle Israel through capture of world institutions of information, science, culture, finance, and trade. The general model used is the effort to topple the apartheid regime in South Africa.  But this time around, instead of support for the values of democracy, human equality, human rights, andn tolerance, the activists are supporting a murderous, intolerant, woman- and homosexual-hating regime that seeks to...

Members of Congress are losing patience with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan. In a sharply-worded letter, Democrats and Republicans who’ve led House efforts to advance U.S.-Turkish relations warned Erdogan last week about what they considered to be his anti-Semitic comments. They told him he risked damaging ties between the U.S. and Turkey. …

Jewish people arguably more than any other nation have their history marked with suffering and sorrows. Almost every hundred years this nation has been oppressed with new strength of the methods revealing viciousness and hostility in its fullness. The primitive cultures conceived its own form of the anti-Semitism, which had characteristics of the religious belief. This ancient hatred did not clash but merged with Western rationalism and theology causing world catastrophes.

The lights are going out in the land of the Enlightenment. The violent, anti-Semitic nightmare Europe thought it would never see again after the Nazi Holocaust is raising its ugly head once more, this time on French soil. Jew-hatred, mostly among France’s six and a half million Muslims, is reaching such threatening proportions that an increasing number of the country’s 500,000 Jews feel forced to leave their native land to ensure their safety. At one Jewish agency that assists French Jews to emigrate to Israel the telephone, it was reported, “does not stop ringing. “For 2014, one will have to...
