I love and support the military and my brother and the people who have fought to defend our rights in this country.. “That was beautifully done. Done in unity. Nice to see,” former Orlando Magic star Shaquille O’Neal said on TNT. It is time to not only boycott basketball, but to turn off and stop watching every professional sporting event that is broadcast across America. Look at the hatred in the faces of these privileged, rich Liberals who have nothing but hatred and contempt for the country that made them wealthy bouncing a ball. They want real change? I say America turns them off starting immediately, and let’s see them have to get real jobs and actually have to work for a...

I turned on the Rangers Hurricanes hockey game at 12:00 today expecting to turn it off when the pre-game anthems were played and there were some sort of shenanigans & disrespect shown by players or announcers. Lo and behold to my surprise there was no tomfoolery at all. At least I can now watch hockey which is the sport I like most. Thank you NHL.

The television broadcast showed Isaac, who is Black, standing as players and coaches from both teams, as well as referees, took a knee during the playing of the National Anthem. The 22-year-old forward was also the only player seen not wearing a "Black Lives Matter" shirt.

RUSH: The Milwaukee Journal… The Journal Sentinel is the newspaper. They’re reporting that the home opener for the Milwaukee Brewers is off because of positive tests for the St. Louis Cardinals, COVID-19. The Cardinals just come in from Minnesota were they were playing “the Twinks,” the Twins. By the way, those Twins uniforms are really pretty, those home powder blue things? I have to say. I mean, this is Tom Haudricourt in the Journal saying, “I have confirmation the Brewers home opener is off because of positive tests with the St. Louis Cardinals. The Cardinals just came from Minnesota, so...

The WNBA season kicked off Saturday with a statement against racial injustice. As the national anthem played just before tip off, Seattle Storm and New York Liberty players dropped their basketballs, walked off the court and headed back to their respective locker rooms as part of the social justice initiative the WNBA announced it will take earlier this month. The league announced on July 6 that the season will be dedicated to raising awareness about social justice issues. The effort includes warm up uniforms with the messages "Say her name" and "Black Lives Matter," and the formation of a player-led...

As the national anthem was being played prior to the WNBA's season-opening game between the Seattle Storm and the New York Liberty, all players from both teams returned to their respective locker rooms as a sign of solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement. Also before the start of the game, the two teams participated in a 26-second moment of silence in remembrance of Breonna Taylor, the 26-year-old Black woman who was killed by police in her Louisville, Ky., home in March. Calls to boycott Major League Baseball spiked Tuesday after the league posted a photo of some San Francisco Giants players kneeling during the national anthem prior to an exhibition game. The hashtag #BoycottMLB trended on Twitter as some social-media commentators accused the league of showing a lack of respect for the military, which the league denied. **SNIP** The kneelers included Giants manager Gabe Kapler, who said he planned to use his platform to “demonstrate my dissatisfaction with our clear systemic racism in our country,” according to ESPN. “I wanted them to know that I wasn’t pleased with the way our...

Major League Baseball came out in defense of players who knelt during the national anthem on Monday evening, taking on critics and tweeting in support of the Black Lives Matter movement. As Breitbart News reported, several members of the San Francisco Giants took a knee during the playing of the Star-Spangled Banner during a preseason game hosted by the Oakland Athletics before an empty stadium filled with cardboard cutouts. The National Football League celebrated its 100th anniversary last year. This should be a time of self-congratulation for the brutal sport, which has no similar counterpart outside the United States. The NFL's megaprofits dwarf those of other professional sports in the U.S. The Super Bowl, not the World Series, is America's national sports event. (snip) In 2016, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick refused to stand for the national anthem. He claimed he was protesting the treatment of African Americans. .... Kaepernick's rejection of "The Star-Spangled Banner" eventually spread throughout the NFL. Even though he was a backup quarterback, Kaepernick...

We’ve seen this all before – the attempt to erase history through the destruction of statues and monuments to any historical event but today’s anarchy and any vestige of authority, real, institutional, or symbolic other than the authority imposed by the nihilists themselves. As columnist Charles Krauthammer once pointed out, one the first acts of the Taliban in Afghanistan was to blow up centuries-old statues of Buddha carved in a mountain cliff. They did it not because they were built by the United States or Israel or represented Western colonialism. The giant Buddhas of Bamiyan were destroyed by the Taliban...

It is now being reported that the NFL will be playing “Lift Ev’ry Voice and Sing,” a song that has been called the “Black national anthem,” before all NFL games in Week 1. This is a high-risk, low-reward move by the NFL. There are countless problems with this strategy to appease the woke mobs, and it would be difficult to overstate just how foolish and dangerous it is. First of all, a “Black national anthem” can only exist if there is a broad acceptance of the notion that black people, as a racial category, share a common identity with other...
