Illegal is illegal. Amnesty of any kind is a slap in the face of immigrants who went through the process legally. It also opens up opportunities for abuse I normally support my president. For the most part, I am happy that Donald Trump is President of the United States. He’s got intestinal fortitude of a magnitude the Republican Party hasn’t had since the GOP Revolution in 1994, and we haven’t seen in a President since Ronald Reagan. Donald J. Trump’s rise to popularity was largely as a result of his tough stance on immigration. “Build That Wall!” became a regular...

President Donald Trump signaled support for signing a permanent deal to assist DACA recipients, giving amnesty to illegal immigrants brought to the United States as children. “Chuck and Nancy would like to see something happen, and so do I,” Trump said, referring to Democratic leaders Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer. (excerpt required clip). The president suggested that ideal legislation would include border security funds and a permanent fix for DACA . “I’d like to see a permanent deal, and I think it’s going to happen,” he said. “I think we’re going to have great support from both sides of Congress.”

President Donald Trump repeated that he wanted to sign a deal on DACA, urging Congress to send him a bill to make it happen. “Congress, I really believe, wants to take care of this situation,” Trump told reporters on Air Force One. “I really believe it — even very conservative members of Congress.” He appeared willing to negotiate with Republicans and Democrats on a DACA solution — even willing to add border security funding to help sell the measure to offer amnesty to DACA recipients. clip “I’d like to see a permanent deal, and I think it’s going to happen,”...

Ohio's outspoken Republican governor on Wednesday blasted President Donald Trump's decision to begin dismantling the Obama-era program protecting young immigrants brought into the country illegally. "This is not the America that we all love. This is a melting pot," Kasich said. "And, by the way, if the Dreamers want to go somewhere and live? Come to Ohio. We want all the immigrants to come to Ohio, because we know how much they contribute to America."

House Speaker Paul Ryan said Wednesday that the 800,000 young immigrants who have been protected from deportation under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program can “rest easy” knowing that Congress will take action to allow them to stay in the United States. “Look, I think people should rest easy, and I think the president made the right call, and the president also gave us the time and space we’re going to need to find where that compromise is,” he said, referring to a March deadline set by Sessions. Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa, called any bill that would legalize “dreamers”...

Does House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy think it’s funny to have to delay border wall funding? Apparently so. In a Tuesday appearance on Fox Business News with Maria Bartiromo, McCarthy giggled when revealing funding for President Trump’s top campaign promise was being pushed back months.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi denounced President Trump's plan to end the immigration program known as DACA, calling it "shameful...despicable, cruel and heartless." Pelosi, D-Calif., joined other Democrats and some Republicans in opposing the move to end the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, which is facing a court challenge. The program allows young people who arrived illegally as children to obtain work permits and some federal benefits. Pelosi called for "an immediate response from Congress," to ensure those in the program are not deported, although there is no indication the Trump Administration will move to deport anybody. "President...

Poll: 73% of Dems Would Give Up Alcohol for Trump ImpeachmentNumber one, I don’t believe them but I guess we’re supposed to be impressed with their level of passion related to impeaching the President. Number two, if they had given up alcohol before the election they too may have realized that Donald Trump was America’s last Great White Hope. There, I said it, so just shoot me.Number 3: this poll contains as much truth and accuracy as most of the current medical “research” that is conducted in labs and universities around the country to tell us how we should be...

It'd seem to me that anyone who has an interest in seeing that the laws of this country are not only enforced but simply followed, would also be for ending prick-tator Obama's illegal DACA program. It's not very surprising that an assorted number of RINOs have suddenly come out in support of maintaining the program. This, in spite of their one-time, supposed objection to Obama's betrayal of his oath of office and his circumvention of Congress. If the program doesn't end, many (Democrats, RINOs) will argue that "early childhood arrivals" include anchor babies and the entire matter as to whether...

President Trump announced a decision on DACA will be Tuesday. Will this finally begin the “Big Ugly” confrontation? Possibly, but one thing is certain, right now he’s probing. CTH is not a seer of Donald Trump, and anyone who would claim they are should be necessarily dismissed. President Donald Trump is the only entity who knows specifically what he’s going to do in the moments leading up to what he’s going to do; no-one else. However, that said, CTH does have a pretty good sense of what evaluation processes Trump takes prior to action. There are indications Tuesday might be...

Several high-profile moderate Republicans have begun publicly speculating about the possibility that President Trump could face a primary challenger when he seeks re-election in 2020. The latest Republican to do so is U.S. Sen. Jeff Flake of Arizona. Trump and Flake have recently exchanged words, with the president saying he is “not a fan of” Flake.

Open Society Foundations, Hungarian-born billionaire George Soros’ stated vehicle for progressive social change, orchestrated a well-funded attempt to secure a desired outcome in a U.S. Supreme Court case on illegal immigration enforcement, according to a newly discovered memo between the organization’s top U.S. officials and board members. The February 2016 memo was among thousands of internal OSF documents released to the public by anonymous hackers whose stated goal is to “shed light on one of the most influential networks operating worldwide.” OSF U.S. Programs director Ken Zimmerman and deputy director Andrea Batista Schlesinger co-authored the memo, which is addressed to...

Australia is undergoing a gun “amnesty”, the first general one since 1996, when some of the most restrictive gun laws in the world were imposed on Australia. The federal guidelines were fast tracked by the hoplophobic Prime Minister, John Howard, with substantial aid by the anti-gun Australian media, during the emotional effect of the Port Arthur massacre. From sbs.com.au: Since being declared a month ago, 1700 rifles, 460 shotguns and nearly 200 handguns have been surrendered and thousands more firearms submitted for registration.Surrendered items include four SKS assault rifles, a 9mm homemade sub-machine gun, a Colt AR-15 rifle, M1 carbine,...

A federal judge in San Francisco has refused to dismiss a lawsuit accusing Wells Fargo bank of denying loans to immigrants who came to the U.S. as youngsters and have been allowed to remain here. Denial of loans based on citizenship status violates a federal law, passed in 1870, and a California civil rights law, U.S. District Judge Maxine Chesney said Thursday in rejecting the bank’s attempt to dismiss the proposed nationwide class-action suit. Wells Fargo, according to the suit, has a policy of granting loans only to U.S. citizens or to noncitizens who have become permanent legal residents and...

Fresh off his crucial vote to kill the repeal of Obamacare, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) is now working with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) to craft what McCain called “a fitting legacy to honor my service to the country and Senate over my lifetime.” The bill they are drafting is a revival of the so-called “Gang of Eight” measure passed by the Senate in 2013, but rejected by the House. It would give a path to citizenship to most illegal immigrants, greatly increase the number of visas to allow companies to replace American workers with foreigners and greatly increase...

Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) wants Congress to pass the Gang of Eight’s comprehensive amnesty bill when he returns to the Senate after getting treatments for brain cancer. According to The Arizona Republic, McCain, before leaving Washington to get cancer treatments in Arizona, reportedly spoke to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) about joining forces again to pass the “Gang of Eight” bill. After joining Sens. Susan Collins (R-ME) and Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) to defeat the GOP’s “skinny repeal” of Obamacare, McCain, who has always wanted to be known as a straight-talking independent, was lionized by Democrats and the legacy media,...

PHOENIX (AP) - A well-known community organizer who used social media and technology in his behind-the-scenes efforts for immigrant rights was killed Tuesday when a 51-year-old woman ran a red light and crashed into his motorcycle. Police say the woman, who hasn't been identified, was cited for running a red light and driving without a license following the fatal crash. Celso Salinas-Mireles was brought to the country from Mexico as a young child and was protected from deportation through former President Barack Obama's Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program. Police identified him as Celso Mireles-Martinez, but a close friend said...

Praising Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), now battling brain cancer, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer on Tuesday said McCain is thinking beyond the health care bill. “You know, I love the man,” Schumer (D-N.Y.) told a news conference on Tuesday, after the Senate vote on a motion to proceed to a health care bill that is open to amendments. “He's a great man," Schumer said of McCain. "We've been close friends. He even said to me when I called him this weekend, ‘Let's get immigration reform done,’ so he's thinking of the future. As you know, he and I worked on...

South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham is urging South Carolinians to vote against him when they disagree with his support for a national amnesty plus a greater inflow of foreign workers to take Americans’ jobs. “To the people who object to this, I don’t want you to vote for me because I cannot serve you well,” he said in a Capitol Hill press conference July 20. He continued: The key here is to be fair to the 11 million [illegal immigrants], starting with the [2 million younger illegals] ‘Dreamers,’ but convince people we’re going to do what our great friend [President]...
