Does President Obama have the guts to call Americans “lazy” to our faces? Or is he more brave to tear us down a half a world away? The president twice called Americans “lazy” today as he addressed a group of young leaders in Laos. “So usually, if you see the environment destroyed, it’s not because that’s necessary for development. It’s usually because we’re being lazy, and we’re not being as creative as we could be about how to do it in a smarter, sustainable way,” Obama said during a town hall meeting.

According to a press release provided to The Daily Caller, Terence Burke, senior vice president of national news, said that “CNN’s cutting-edge development of technology to enhance the way we tell stories is a part of our DNA. We are proud to continue the tradition with CNN AIR, and to establish a unit that will expand our technological capabilities for newsgathering.” CNN has formed the “first media-related research partnership with the Georgia Tech Research Institute” and will be in a direct research agreement with the Federal Aviation Administration. According to the press release, in 2015, “CNN was selected by the...

“Among them are "many" Christians involved in international student welcome ministries or who are helping Muslim refugees settle in the United States.” They’re killing the people who are welcoming them in, and still the political elites continue with these suicidal immigration programs.

A 22-year-old radicalized convert to Islam has been arrested in France over suspicions he was planning to attack American and Russian tourists, legal sources said Thursday. The suspect had gone to the southwestern city of Carcassone “with a view to carrying out a violent act, in particular targeting Americans and Russians,” a judicial source said. A source close to the investigation said the suspect was arrested in possession of a knife and a small mallet. …

A majority of Americans continue to support the congressional ban on earmarks instituted by former House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, a new Economist Group/YouGov poll shows. The ban was supported by 63 percent of those polled, while 12 percent disapproved of the ban and 26 percent were not sure whether they approved or disapproved of it. On principle, only 17 percent of respondents approved of the practice of earmarks and 59 percent said it is unacceptable.

Whether Americans will continue to have a Second Amendment right to own guns now depends on whether Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton wins the White House. The Supreme Court will soon have an opportunity to review a federal appeals court’s decision Thursday that the government can ban all concealed firearms outside the home.

Like a lot of other Americans these days I’m spending too much time pissed off about way too many things in this great nation of ours. I’m not perceptive enough to fully understand how we got ourselves into such a mess but I do know it’s gotten me to thinking about Memorial Day this year. And that’s another thing that pisses me off. As a veteran, I’m angry that this day will be passed by most of my countrymen with not one thought about the millions of Americans who lost their lives in our nation’s wars or undeclared conflicts. As...

America's elitist class: millions of average Americans are irredeemably, hopelessly and unrelentingly stupid It began with MIT economics professor Jonathan Gruber in 2014. Deputy National Security Advisor Ben Rhodes amplified it a couple of weeks ago. And now, in an equal opportunity bashing from the other side of the political dividing line, The Federalist senior editor David Harsanyi has offered yet another look at one idea that apparently unites America’s elitist class: millions of average Americans are irredeemably, hopelessly and unrelentingly stupid. Gruber led the elitist charge, revealing the Obama administration’s behind-the-scenes efforts to get the Affordable Healthcare Act passed....

The neofascist reaction, the force behind Trump, has come about because of the extreme disembeddedness of the economy from social relations. The neoliberal economy has become pure abstraction; as has the market, as has the state, there is no reality to any of these things the way we have classically understood them. Americans, like people everywhere rising up against neoliberal globalization (in Britain, for example, this takes the form of Brexit, or exit from the European Union), want a return of social relations, or embeddedness, to the economy.

Presidential hopeful and underdog for the Democratic nomination Bernie Sanders said one of the reasons he is staying in the race is because he does not want Americans "voting for the lesser of two evils." Sanders added that he will use Hillary Clinton's low favorability ratings as part of his case to Democratic party super delegates that they should back him over her. **SNIP** Asked by Stephanopoulos whether he would describe Clinton as the lesser of two evils against Donald Trump, Sanders responded, "No, I wouldn't describe it, but that's what the American people are saying."

WASHINGTON (AP) — Trust in the news media is being eroded by perceptions of inaccuracy and bias, fueled in part by Americans' skepticism about what they read on social media. Just 6 percent of people say they have a lot of confidence in the media, putting the news industry about equal to Congress and well below the public's view of other institutions. In this presidential campaign year, Democrats were more likely to trust the news media than Republicans or independents. But trust today also goes beyond the traditional journalistic principles of accuracy, balance and fairness. Faced with ever-increasing sources of...

Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death! When are Americans, aka, We, the People, going to draw a red line in the sand for the Liar-in-Chief, the Fraud in the Rainbow House, the Lead-From-Behind taqiyyah Muslim and his apologists? How often are we going to sit quietly while he covers up for Muslim terrorists who savagely murder innocent Americans? How many more times must we allow him to imply that we are bigots for seeing Islam for what it is: a political/judicial system known as Shariah that uses “religion” to get submission by its followers, that is spread by barbaric...

Muslim citizens are as American as apple pie, a new poll says. The survey, from the Institute for Social Policy and Understanding, shows that though Muslims living in America are facing more violence than ever, they are actually among America's most model citizens. What exactly does that mean? Well, in a land founded on religious freedom, Muslims are among the most religious and patriotic citizens: 42% of Muslims attend services regularly compared to 45% of Protestants. And 87% of Muslims say religion is important to their lives, compared to 94% of Protestants.

Two Americans confirmed to be victims in Brussels attacks Posted 7:13 am, March 25, 2016, by CNN Wire This was the news the family of Alexander and Sascha Pinczowski hoped would never come. The siblings were in the Delta ticket line at the Brussels Airport to check in for their flight to New York. Alexander was talking to his mother on the phone when the line went dead. They haven’t been heard from since. Nearly three agonizing days later, word came from Belgian authorities at Astrid Hospital in Brussels. It was a list of the remaining victims who were still...

Donald Trump is rolling toward the Republican nomination for President of the United States. That is a sobering thought for many people. The Democrats seem determined to nominate Hillary Clinton who will be easy to beat in the general election next November; and this will present a nightmare scenario for many people. More than this, a Trump presidency will bring joy and renewed hope to millions of hard working, God-fearing Americans. Trump will deliver justice for those of us who have suffered while we watched helplessly as our nation has declined toward third world lawlessness over the past seven years....

General Draza Mihailovich on Ravna Gora in Serbia 1943 Aleksandra's Note: This year, 2016, will mark the 70th anniversary of the martyrdom of Serbian legend General Draza Mihailovich. There have been many testimonies over the last 70 years that accurately reflect who the General was as both military commander and as a man. Due to the vast institutionalization of communist propaganda over the course of these same seven decades, the truth has had to fight its way to the light. But "Truth" does, and always will, prevail. That is the nature of God's justice, and God's justice will always be...

The best New Year's Resolution I ever made was to stop trying to reason with unreasonable people. That may be especially valuable during an election year. With 4 of the 9 Supreme Court justices being more than 75 years old, the next president will probably be appointing replacements who can help determine the direction of American law well into the next generation.

PRINCETON, N.J. -- The American public estimates on average that 23% of Americans are gay or lesbian, little changed from Americans' 25% estimate in 2011, and only slightly higher than separate 2002 estimates of the gay and lesbian population. These estimates are many times higher than the 3.8% of the adult population who identified themselves as lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender in Gallup Daily tracking in the first four months of this year. Trend: Just your best guess, what percent of Americans today would you say are gay or lesbian? The stability of these estimates over time contrasts with the...

Why must we relegate the homeless, the unemployed, and the poor to ePodments, to tiny homes, to mini-homes, to dwellings made of junkyard scrap and other cheap materials, to dwellings the size of closets? The mark of a civilized society is how well the most helpless are treated—animals, children, the elderly, and those who are homeless. There is always room for improvement. We are plenty generous with people from other countries, but we miss the mark when it comes to helping our own chronic homeless, the veterans, babies in the womb, the elderly, and others who cannot protect themselves. It...
