I noticed this chart a few days back at the site in question. It obviously gives a good general idea as how the large swings in temperatures happened over the past four K years or so.

Indeed we will. I thought the SC's Kelo decision was their worst in the last few years, but I wasn't paying attention to this and didn't see it through to the madness at hand.
I still find it hard to believe that anyone could believe the EPA's lunacy, but clearly we have arrived at a place where people actally think that our breathing is killing the planet.

The American people will just love having their utility bills and the price of gasoline go up
Liberals and socialists must be the dumbest animals on the planet.
So, with the higher utility bills and with the higher price for gasoline, people will either use less of those products/services or not use them at all. The EPA and the "CO2 is bad crowd" will have "won".
But, they and the whole country will have lost.
With gasoline not being used as much, less automobiles will be needed and less workers will be needed to build them. Huge layoffs will follow in the auto industry. With people using less electricity, the electric companies will make less money and they'll very likely resort to raising prices on the electric bills, which then forces more people to cut more on their use of electricity bill and the vicious cycle continues.
Will less need for electricity and gasoline, millions of jobs will be lost and many businesses, small and large, will have to shut down. Millions of more jobs will be lost, and with a contracted economy, the government will have less tax revenue from which to run its services. Thus, government will try to raise taxes to make up for the lost revenue. But, the revenue won't be coming from the private sector economy because it won't be producing and the people that the government collects its taxes from won't be working. DEAD END! Liberals and the whole country loses. All for a huge lie about the "evil CO2".
Now, where are the republicans and conservatives promising that if they do get elected and the liberals are overthrown, that they will vote to repeal all of the asinine programs and legislation that were enacted to kill the economy?
I sure hope that the EPA will now start going around their offices and summarily executing themselves for all their lifetimes of spewing out CO2. Otherwise they’re just talking the talk. Walk the walk you EPA polluters!!! Stop breathing, you’re killing all of us.
Actually if the pCO2 drops too low in your blood level, you will forget to breath, which will lead to death. Respiratory alkalosis is not uncommon in a metabolic acidosis. At any rate the contribution of man-made CO2 all added together does not add up to a single MT.Penetubo fart. These people major on the minors for political reasons and have little to add to the conversation about reality. The problem is, they are defining reality, which is their perverse perception.
Think of the years and the money it will take to over turn this it is mind boggling....from the WSJ
“his ruling has been inevitable since at least April and we warned about it during Mr. Obama’s campaign, but its cynicism and willfulness still astonish. The political threat is so potent precisely because invoking a faulty interpretation of the 1970 Clean Air Act will expose hundreds of thousands of “major” sources of emissions that produce more than 250 tons of an air pollutant in a year to the EPA’s costly and onerous review process. This threshold might be reasonable for traditional “dirty” pollutants (such as NOX) but it makes no sense for ubiquitous carbon, which is the byproduct of almost all types of economic production.
The White House knows this, which is why earlier this fall Ms. Jackson announced a “tailoring rule” that limits this regulation to sources that emit more than 25,000 or more tons a year like coal-fired power plants and heavy manufacturing. Ms. Jackson claims this unilateral rewrite of a statute is a concession, but its real purpose is to dodge a political backlash while still preserving the EPA’s ability to threaten business and recalcitrant Democrats.
For now, this decision moves into the courts, and years if not decades of litigation. Yet the decision really is historic: The White House has opened a Pandora’s box that will be difficult to close, that is breathtakingly undemocratic, and that the country, if not liberal politicians, will come to regret.”
Maybe but I think we will all regret it long before any of them do..
I’m looking dead at her picture on wikipedia. If anything, those pictures make someone lighter and obscure certain facial features.
I can’t help it you don’t have the nose for this sort of thing. I’m telling you as a mulatto and a person with both very dark and very light black relatives (along with having white relatives to compare to) that, at minimum, she is biracial. But she certainly isn’t full-blooded Caucasian.
I’m glad you served but I think being biologically related and spending time in Philadelphia public schools and being mixed race oneself kind of trumps your experience or discernment here.
As for her experience, she seems to have been head of the agency as a result of being appointed by Corzine before this post. If she’s really spent 15-16 years with EPA and has an advanced degree in chemical engineering, she seems fairly qualified, at least compared to some of the political appointees one sees.
That does not mean I think she’s the bees knees, she’s a collectivist like her boss. I just think that approach is helpful (calling into doubt her racial background or her competence when she at least has a scientific background.)

How the S.C. could give any unelected person or group this kind of power with little or no oversight and think it would be Constitutional is beyond my limited intellect. And clearly beyond the intellect of the court.
Stupidity is the most expensive and damaging thing to ever have happened to our once great country.
Look, I worked a total of 38 years in America's two most integrated organizations ~ the US Army and the US Postal Service. I traveled extensively.
She's not African-American. Simply wouldn't pass in the Army or the Post Office. Ain't no way jack.
As far as her degrees are concerned, they did not provide her with a sufficiently broad background to deal with all the business her agency has to deal with.
This backstabbing is a potentially far greater attack on the American way of life than the attack on Pearl Harbor. Lisa Jackson and her co-conspirators are criminally malfeasant and deserve the full punishment of the people's justice.
Once you price CO2 and put a price on it, you find, as you would with any other product, it tends to be rationed. We as a people on this planet have lived under the false concept that air and water were free. And weve learned with a planet of 7 billion people, that we have to ration these precious goods. And the good old price system is the best way to do it.
Richard Sandor, father of the carbon trading scam. Given money to found the Chicago Climate Exchange by the Joyce Foundation while none other than Barack Obama sat on the board.
Get it, free health care is a right but air and water aren't free. They claim health care won't be rationed but air and water will be.
algore makes a photoshop cover for his new book, showing no Cuba and half of Florida gone, Arnold Schwarzenegger. The map, which demonstrates the devastating effects of global warming in just a century,
"Global warming" will get rid of Cuba??? Fire up the SUV!
Elections have consequences and people like the EPA' s Lisa Jackson are a consequence of Barry Obama's election. I just wish all the pain and suffering that EPA is going to inflict would fall on those who voted for Obama. They deserve it. They should suffer for their stupidity. Sadly however we will all suffer because of the stupidity of the morons who voted for Obama. And we will all suffer for the stupidity of those who voted for Pelosi, Reid, et al.
Oh Christ, these people are our enemies but saying that someone who worked for the EPA for a decade and a half, graduated summa cum laude from the chemical engineering program at Tulane and has a Master’s degree in chemical engineering isn’t qualified to be head of the EPA is absurd. If anything, she’s overqualified because she actually has a science and engineering background.
And she looks pretty clearly “high yellow” black to me. It’s on wikipedia, her picture. Some white people have difficulty telling, though.
The EPA chief is a blooming idiot. Nobama has appointed many marxists. Why the hell did 53% of people vote for these morons? Did you all hate the United States?
I fear that we will never see anything remotely resembling an “honest” election going forward. Between SEIU and ACORN the Dumbocrats will be rigging everything. Next in line is amnesty for the illegals and elimination of the electoral college and these thieves will be in power forever
I understand that CEI has filed suit against the EPA. Thank god someone is finally taking action against these psychopathic fascists. Too bad the GOP is, as usual, A-F*ing-WOL.

This EPA move is reminscient of how Hitler twisted the emergency powers provisions of the Weimar Constitution to destroy it be getting the Reichstag to pass the Enabling Act.
Which politician is going to be the first to submit legislation for funding for all of the Gulags we are going to need for all of those comrades that choose to “not” live under the heels of the IRS and EPA?
Harry Reid, Barbara Boxer, Pelosi (nah, probably Lindsy Graham)
