...........The main communist agitator who shouted a continuous barrage of chants through the bullhorn is longtime Chicago activist Grant Newburger. Newburger, 57, called himself a leader of the Revolutionary Communist Youth Brigade as a fortysomething, according to the Chicago Reader, the Second City's main alternative weekly....... Another communist agitator who spoke into the communal Maoist bullhorn during Wednesday night's protest in Chicago is Revolutionary Communist Party member Lou Downey..... "We are the people! The mighty mighty, mighty people," was a communist agitator-led chant. Also: "Whose streets? OUR STREETS!"......... The Revolutionary Communist Party regularly seeks to conceal itself in growing radical...

The campus culture war is a religious war, a so-far largely peaceful counterpart to the violent purges and revolutions of jihad. One faith has been expunged, relegated to the margins of the academy, and now another fills the vacuum. Out with the Christianity that spawned American higher education, in with a ferocious new faith — a social-justice progressivism unrestrained by humility and consumed with righteous zeal. Contemporary Americans — educated in the kind of revisionist history that dominates our educational system from top to bottom — forget that higher education was initially a thoroughly Christian enterprise, in keeping with the...

Leftist activists interrupted and spit on Conservatives attending a free speech rally at Yale. One student, Edward Columbia, who did not register for the event, showed up near the beginning of the event and began displaying signs at the front of the room stating, "Stand with your sisters of color. Now, here. Always, everywhere."

Protesters in South Carolina have begun burning Confederate flags and defacing monuments as the debate as to whether or not the flag should fly over the state's capital intensifies in the wake of Wednesday's brutal massacre that saw nine people murdered because they were black. Dylann Roof has been charged with nine counts of murder after attending a Bible study class at Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston and then opening fire on those in attendance. It has been reported that when asked to stop during the brutal killings, Roof said; 'No, you've raped our women, and you are...

Michelle Obama urged another class of college graduates Monday to work aggressively to change American society and not be deterred by noisy or obstructionist opposition. The 51-year-old first lady spent her Memorial Day not with her husband honoring the fallen military at Arlington National Cemetery (Scroll down for C-SPAN video of that), but urging graduates at Ohio's Oberlin College to become persistent, determined agents of change in their communities.

The left’s real choice in 2016: Why it doesn’t need Elizabeth Warren to run For all the talk of needing to primary Hillary, here's how liberals really take over the party -- and America Disheartened progressive Democrats face the prospect of a 16-year gap between the last closely contested presidential primary in 2008 and what would likely be the next one in 2024. Elizabeth Warren isn’t running. Hillary Clinton is and she starts out with very large leads in the early states. But hope is not lost. The choice facing progressives is not and never has been to somehow make...

FERGUSON, Mo. — The protesters who spent eight months pressing for changes in Ferguson's police practices after the fatal shooting of Michael Brown take credit for this week's resignations of the city manager and the police chief. And they insist they still have unfinished business, with many planning to stay in the streets until the mayor of the St. Louis suburb is forced out and the entire police force dissolved. "We will protest until we see everything in our favor. This movement has legs," Derrick Robinson, a protest organizer, declared Friday. "We're out here fighting for justice and equality, and...

If and when Obama ever leaves office, he will return to what he’s always been: a street community organizer working to take America down from within The very first day after an activism coup d’etat captured America in what all thought was just another presidential election, the day-to-day life of its citizens began taking a nosedive downhill, never to return. It wasn’t another president who was elected on Nov. 4, 2008, it was the official election of Community Activism. Nowhere is proof of presidency by Community Activism more visible than it is in Ferguson, Missouri. Community Activism gets to shy...

My wife and I have been living in Ferguson, MO for over 20 years. We live close enough to the Ferguson Police Station to hear the protestors that have been making their presence known over the past few months. We know many of the police officers, public officials, and private citizens who are movers and shakers in the community. We are close friends to many black and white residents in the city. We have watched the media reporting of the event and are appalled at the overall lack of journalistic ethics, blatant bias and agitative propaganda that is passing as...

Hedge fund mogul's Open Society Foundations made huge donations. Organizers bussed in from New York and D.C. to take over campaigning. Different cash recipients would repeat each others' messages. Helped to keep events and messages at the top of news agenda. Soros cash, from speculating on markets, is given to many liberal causes. Liberal billionaire George Soros donated $33million to social justice organizations which helped turn events in Ferguson from a local protest into a national flashpoint. The handouts, revealed in tax filings from Soros's private foundation, were given to dozens of different groups which weighed in on the...

The head of the NAACP went on national TV Wednesday, comparing public officials in Ferguson, Mo., to “roaches.” Not long after, the strife-torn city saw another round of protests that left two police officers shot and hospitalized in serious condition.

The Occupy movement and other leftist groups are attempting to use the anti-cop furor for a “die-in” and “shutdown” protest targeting Fox News and the New York Post. The demonstration is scheduled for Jan. 2 at New Corporation’s Midtown Manhattan headquarters, with invitations posted at Occupy-affiliated Facebook pages. The invitation reads: “As many already know The NY POST is a newspaper that is owned and controlled by the Right Winger Rupert Murdoch, who in essence is a corporate racist that continually supports and disseminates racist, classist, sexist and all forms of pro 1% misinformation through his NY POST newspaper as...

An independent journalist who has been live-streaming the Ferguson protests for several weeks says all of his equipment was robbed from his car after police searched his car and didn't lock his doors after they put him under arrest for unpaid traffic tickets. Bassem Masri, a St. Louis native who works as a distribution manager by day and an activist journalist by night, is suspicious about the arrest because the night before it happened, state troopers pulled him over and tried to do a background check, but weren't able to because their system was temporarily down. "I'm always honest with...

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – KMOX News has learned Ferguson protestors are seeking St. Louis Rams tickets in the hopes of getting into the Edward Jones Dome and disrupting this Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys. We first heard about the threat Tuesday at the St. Louis County Council meeting. “It’s not going to a fun day Sunday at your beautiful Rams game,” one protestor said. Speaking with KMOX hosts Debbie Monterrey and Michael Kelley on Thursday morning, St. Louis Police Chief Sam Dotson said he’s well aware of those threats and is working on plans to counteract them. “We are...

You’ve seen the story of the Mike Brown family autopsy, and the grand press conference they produced to deliver it to the public. But a closer look points out why the Scheme Team actually used New York Times Frances Robles to deliver the ruse: Frances worked with the Scheme Team in 2012 (2012 bio below) while she was at the Miami Herald and was part of their inner circle of media types willing to sell the Trayvon Story. The actual truth appears to be – a rather controversial person Shawn Parcells, who is NOT a forensic pathologist, was used by...

Sen. John McCain blasted the "timidity" of the Obama administration’s sanctions on Russian officials Monday, saying that the White House needs a "fundamental reassessment" of the relationship between the United States and Russian President Vladimir Putin. "This president’s response – I don’t know how it could have been weaker, besides doing nothing," McCain said during an appearance on MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell Reports. The Arizona Republican said that Putin is likely "encouraged by the absolute timidity" of the U.S. reaction to Russia's incursion into Crimea. "I don’t know when the president and his advisers are going to wake up to what...

Muslim fundamentalists are plotting to take over state schools, according to leaked documents. Activists have launched a campaign to oust headteachers using dirty tricks such as spreading false allegations and packing governing bodies with their supporters. The plot, which ringleaders have named Operation Trojan Horse, has emerged in documents drawn up by the group and leaked to a local newspaper. The dossier names several schools in the Birmingham area as targets of alleged plots. The authors of the documents discuss extending the ‘jihad’ operation to Bradford and Manchester – cities with rapidly growing Muslim populations.

The gay son of Rep. Matt Salmon, Arizona Republican, told KPNX-TV in Phoenix on Sunday that both MSNBC’s “The Last Word With Lawrence O'Donnell” and CNN’s “Piers Morgan Live” canceled interviews with him because he refused to attack his father on the air. Matt R. Salmon, the son, said MSNBC canceled his appearance because “they had intended to be critical of him and … I was unwilling to do so.” He also said CNN “seemed very gung ho about” an interview at first, but when he said he was supportive of his father, “they seemed to lose interest.”

I recently read the new biography of Trotsky by Oxford don Robert Service, published in 2009 by Pan Books. It is well-written and surprisingly interesting. The book does a great public service in describing the life of the actual Trotsky, whose previous “biographies” were little more than hagiographies written by his toady worshippers (people like Isaac Deutscher). The last time that I had taken any interest in Trotsky was when I was a teenager and had fleeting delusions of believing in “socialism.” Reading the new book as an adult and as an economist, I found it a useful opportunity to...
