I called the DC ofc number (thanks, hocndoc) and was told the same thing: that she voted for it only after it already had enough votes (as if that makes it ok!) and only because it included “crucial 2010 funding for day to day operations of the DOD and soldiers in the field”. There was another Freeper who is virulently against this guy because his stance isn’t sufficiently anti-abortion. He would rather have Coakley win, who is at the same level Obama is, which is as far to the left as anyone could possibly go, than to elect someone he classifies as a RINO.

Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face. We need people to be enthusiastic all over the country for this candidate, because if he can win, anyone can, and that means there is hope to regain control of our country.

I am not interested (yet) in formally Balkanizing this country, because that means I will have to move. But some people like to throw that out as a solution. It isn’t. The solution is to take back our government, one seat at a time. If we cannot do that, well, then I’ll reconsider.

I think the most important thing to happen in US politics over the next few years is that the GOP get to know that if they don't run a conservative they will lose. Because the opponent is a moonbat should not be a reason to vote for any GOP candidate especially in this political environment.
I haven't looked at this persons website yet so cannot comment - hopefully there won't be any “reaching out” “across the aisle” “coming together in big tents” “moving to the center” and other such rinospeak there.
