Aiken Public Safety is directing traffic from Whiskey Road onto East Gate Drive where motorists are attempting to turn into the Chick-fil-A parking lot in support of "Chick- fil-A Appreciation Day." Police Capt. David Turno said the franchise hired two officers earlier this week in anticipation of a large crowd. IMHO, since this is a very important day of activism to show support for Chick-Fil-A and traditional marriage, I thought this thread could be used for FReeper reports and pics from their visits to Chick-Fil-A's around the country since there probably won't be much "positive" coverage from the LSM. The White House Correspondents Dinner on Saturday night brought out not only media celebrities but also their critics. The D.C. Chapter of Free Republic gathered outside of the Washington Hilton and heckled (H/T Marooned in Marin blog) attendees who walked past them or drove by. I had to laugh when I opened the photobucket file for this week. [Mrs] T said that she didn’t take a lot of pictures. But only FIVE - it just made me laugh. Part of the reason was that the camera got so cold so quick that the batteries lost their umph.
