A 6-year-old girl was killed Monday after she was hit by a golf ball on an Orem course. The child was sitting in a golf cart on the cart path at the Links at Sleepy Ridge, 730 S. Sleepy Ridge Dr., when her father hit the ball that struck her on the back of her neck, according to Orem Police Lt. Trent Colledge. The 911 call came in at about 10:25 a.m., Colledge said. A Virginia mother allegedly shot dead her 6-year-old daughter — and then called police to report the shooting. Darla Hise, 27, has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of her daughter, Abigail Hise. Hise called 911 multiple times after the Saturday night incident, but would not provide a name or address a law enforcement source told People. Bath County authorities were able to get to the scene after tracing the phone call to her home, where they pronounced the kindergartner dead.

The man says the incident happened earlier this month and he describes how his little boy was traumatized saying the TSA agent groped his groin and that the little boy left the checkpoint in tears. The commenter says his son was aggressively patted down by a TSA employee. "He was pleading for me to help him and I was admonished for trying to comfort him," the comment on the blog states. "His genitals area was groped. He walked down to the plane in tears."
