Protesters in Los Angeles stood outside of a cinema yesterday, protesting against the new movie "50 Shades of Grey." While the movie has been considered controversial for numerous reasons, the protesters were out in force claiming the film is part of the "patriarchy" and supports "women's enslavement." Armed with posters, fliers, and airhorns, the demonstrators claimed that the movie was part of the "War on Women" and that it "romanticized" the "enslavement" of women. Sitting through “Fifty Shades” was an ugly, disturbing and emotionally draining experience.
