New Orleans police have arrested one suspect in connection with the armed robbery at the Waffle House on Elysian Fields Avenue on Thursday night (April 19). Ernest Thomas was arrested on one count of armed robbery and one count of attempted armed robbery, but remains in the hospital as he recovers from gunshot wounds, NOPD said.
