The Kentucky House of Representatives passed legislation Friday to eliminate the state’s requirement to obtain a permit in order to carry a concealed handgun for self-defense. The House passed the legislation by a vote of 60-37. Breitbart News reported that the Senate passed the same legislation in mid-February by a vote of 29-8. The Hill reports that the legislation would allow law-abiding Kentuckians 21-years-old and older to carry a gun for self-defense without first getting documentation from the state. New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) on Monday signed into law an Extreme Risk Protection Order bill, commonly referred to as "red flag laws." Under the new law, family members, school administrators and law enforcement officials can have a person's firearms confiscated from people believed to be a threat to themselves or others. The cover features a photo op Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other Democrats, including former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords, took when Pelosi spoke about universal background check legislation Democrats are putting up for a vote next week. Next to that photo is the NRA’s wording – “Target Practice” with the subtitle “Congressional Democrats target gun owners for persecution with extreme firearm transfer bans.”

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is pushing the mantra of an “epidemic of gun violence” even as the overall murder rate falls. Moreover, the decline comes as more and more Americans own and carry firearms for self-defense. The NRA-ILA reports, “Since 1991, the murder rate has fallen by 45 percent and the overall violent crime rate has fallen by 48 percent.” The NRA-ILA’s claim squares with a Congressional Research Service (CRS) report that showed murder rates plummeting as gun ownership surged.

Kaitlin Bennett went undercover at UCLA as Jenna Talia to ask students to sign a petition to throw conservatives into involuntary re-education camps. Not only were the students she approached ecstatic to sign it, but one member of UCLA’s student government encouraged her to change the language to “diversity” and “sensitivity training” to hide their real intentions so the administration would approve it.
