  • Trump 'coyote' remark confuses Twitter, including Georgia state Democrat

When President Trump suggested at Thursday's presidential debate that the more than 500 migrant children unable to be reunited with their parents were brought to the border by "coyotes," many on social media were left confused. Trump supporters pounced on the mistake, mocking liberals who weren't up-to-date on border-area lingo. Many thought the president was talking about actual animals bringing children across the border -- rather than human smugglers, for whom "coyotes" is a slang term. (cut) Georgia state Rep. Dar'shun Kendrick, a Democrat, was among those who seemed to have been puzzled by the remark.

John Piper is one of the most respected Christian leaders in America, and I personally hold him in high esteem. Video of President Donald Trump dancing at one of his rallies on October 12 has gone viral and sparked a TikTok challenge in the process. The Daily Caller tweeted a video of the president grooving on the stage to the Village People’s “YMCA” after a rally in Florida on October 12: SNIP Trump pointed to the crowd, then pumped his fists back and forth as he stepped in time to the music. Clips of his moves at other rallies have gone viral, and TikTok users are now dancing alongside him in their own videos, according to CBS News. “Many TikTokers...

Donald Trump maintained a stake in Trump Tower when he became president, and with it, a financial connection to the Chinese government. P resident Donald Trump, who declared “I don’t make money from China” in Thursday night’s presidential debate, has in fact collected millions of dollars from government-owned entities in China since he took office. Forbes estimates that at least $5.4 million has flowed into the president’s business from a lease agreement involving a state-owned bank in Trump Tower. The Industrial and Commercial Bank of China signed a lease for space in 2008, years before the president took office, paying...

Since the end of the Cold War, most U.S. policymakers have been beguiled by a set of illusions about the world order. On critical issues, they have seen the world as they wish it were and not how it really is. ....President Donald Trump, who is not a product of the American foreign policy community, does not labor under these illusions. Trump has been a disrupter, and his policies, informed by his heterodox perspective, have set in motion a series of long-overdue corrections.... Many of these necessary adjustments have been misrepresented or misunderstood in today’s vitriolic, partisan debates. But the...

President Trump holds a three-point lead over Democrat Joe Biden in Florida, a state that’s critical to whether or not the president is reelected. A new Rasmussen Reports telephone and online survey of Likely Voters in Florida finds Trump beating Biden 49% to 46%. Three percent (3%) like some other candidate, and another three percent (3%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.) It might seem obvious, but in all the racket that follows a debate, the most important focus is how it affects the race, if at all.It was a solid debate, despite more questions geared toward former Vice President Joe Biden and against President Donald Trump, and with moderator Kristen Welker interrupting the president 24 times to Biden’s two, by Fox’s count. On the most important count, however, Trump won the debate hands down. Here’s three reasons why.Pennsylvania As Welker attempted to move from energy to the next topic in the last half hour of the debate, Trump asked a...

Democratic nominee Joe Biden lied his way through the final presidential debate with President Donald Trump. NBC News correspondent Kristen Welker interrupted Trump more than she interrupted Biden, and Biden was the first person to interrupt a fellow candidate on the stage. Nevertheless, this debate proved far more civil than the first debate. Trump cleaned Biden’s clock on a few issues, while Biden more frequently hoisted himself on his own petard. The president did a good job of standing back and letting Biden dig himself into a hole. When Trump called him out on previous statements Biden had made, the...

A sizable share of Americans eschewed the major-party dichotomy and voted for third-party candidates in 2016, helping deliver the White House to President Donald Trump. But four years later, almost all of the likely voters who opted against both the Republican and Democratic nominees last time around aren’t planning to do so again, Morning Consult Political Intelligence tracking shows — and a slim majority are siding with former Vice President Joe Biden. Daily tracking of likely voters conducted Oct. 16-18 found 53 percent of likely voters who opted for someone other than a major-party nominee in 2016 said they’re backing...
  • 1968's presidential election looks a lot like today's – but it was very different

(THE CONVERSATION) In this year’s presidential election, terms such as “law and order” and “the silent majority” have been heard fairly often from Donald Trump and some of his supporters. Those phrases hark back to an earlier presidential election, which took place in 1968. That one was a three-way affair involving former Vice President Richard Nixon, a Republican; incumbent Vice President Hubert Humphrey, a Democrat; and the third-party candidacy of a Southern segregationist, Alabama Gov. George Wallace.

WASHINGTON—The Trump administration has approved the sale of more than a billion dollars worth of advanced weaponry for Taiwan in a move that will enrage China and further exacerbate tensions between Washington and Beijing that have are already heated over issues such as trade, Tibet, Hong Kong, and the South China Sea. The State Department announced Wednesday it had greenlighted the sale of 135 precision land attack missiles, associated equipment, and training to Taiwan to improve its defense capabilities. The package is worth just over a billion dollars, it said in a statement. The missiles are made by Boeing. “This...
  • Double Standards On Biden Corruption Versus Spygate Prove Big Media Is Public Enemy No. 1

Corporate media obscured the biggest political scandal in U.S. history, involving the Obama-Biden administration spying on a political enemy. They’re doing the same to Biden corruption. Big media’s divergent handling of the Steele dossier and the Hunter Biden email stories proves that the corrupt press is not just the enemy of the people, but the enemy of truth, freedom, and our constitutional republic. For nearly four years, big media peddled Russia collusion as reality-based and the Christopher Steele “dossier” it rested upon as “mostly verified” or “fake but accurate.” Relying on unnamed sources, inuendo, and illegal leaks, the press played...

End of the American Dream ^ | 10/22/2020 | Michael Snyder
Could it be possible that President Trump has one more miracle up his sleeve? At this point, many Democrats are anticipating a Joe Biden landslide on Election Day even though his own campaign manager admits that the “inflated national public polling numbers” should not be trusted. The truth is that both campaigns know that this is going to be a tight race that comes right down to the wire, and there are two key groups of voters that have traditionally been heavily Democratic that could end up swinging the election to Trump. The Biden campaign has been counting on Black...

Polls and pundits were wrong across the board prior to the 2016 presidential election. Indeed, the anti-Trump spin was so universal with pollsters and journalists in the last presidential election, that even three and a half years later, it’s hard to believe that there wasn’t a conspiracy to cook the books to discourage Trump voters. With another election pending, pollsters seem to be having hot flashes of déjà vu. Donald Trump is again universally cast as the dark horse. But this year there is some clear evidence to explain why polls and media alike may be misreading or misrepresenting the...
