Former President Trump issued a lengthy and blistering attack on Bill Maher Saturday after the late night host and his guests weighed in on the Republican presidential nominee’s recently claim that if he lost the election, “the Jewish people would have a lot to do” with it.“The ratings challenged Bill Maher, on his increasingly boring show on HBO, is really having a hard time coping with TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME. He is a befuddled mess, sloppy and tired, and every conversation, with B and C list guests, seems to start with, or revert back to, ME!,” Trump thundered on Truth Social....

Hypocrite, thy name is Varma. Believe it or not, it takes a lot for the blue-state diehards of the Big Apple to start paying attention to a conservative commentator. But when Steven Crowder published a secretly recorded video, it cut right through the jugular of our political divides, exposing the open hatred we seem to all share for one type of villain. This human nature is best explained by the poet Dante in The Inferno. Past the heretics, far-beyond the gluttons and usurers, and even below the murderers and blasphemers, the eighth circle of hell is the realm of false...

Police body cam of 4 immigrants breaking the law. I'm only into 5 minutes of the first guy who does not know if he is from Mexico or Spain. He was speeding because he was running from "an Arabian who pulled a machete out on him at a gas station". It gets worse after that. Honestly you can't make this stuff up.

CLAIM: Democrat Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz claimed that former President Ronald Reagan was the “last union member” to appear on a “national ticket.” VERDICT: False. Former President Donald Trump was a member of the Screen Actors Guild – American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) union. During a campaign rally in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, Walz spoke about how “the thing that built the middle class” had been the ability to allow people to “collectively bargain and form a union” with their neighbors. Walz added that he had been a union member of Minnesota’s teacher’s union.

A man who killed two people in cold blood uttered just one word before he was executed in a South Carolina prison on Friday - the state's first in 13 years. Freddie Owens said 'bye' to his attorney and was then strapped into a gurney where he awaited the lethal injection that led to his ultimate demise. Owens remained conscious for a minute before his eyes closed, his breaths shortened and his face twitched for five minutes before he died. The 46-year-old killed convenience store clerk Irene Graves during a botched robbery in Greenville in 1997. During his trial, he...

A guest on Saturday's edition of MSNBC's The Weekend, Goodwin, a constitutional law professor at Georgetown, somehow managed to make a connection between post-Dobbs laws limiting abortions and slavery and Jim Crow laws, specifically including those restricting the ability of African-Americans to play checkers and chess. Co-host Michael Steele—who surely professed pro-life views back when he was running for and serving as RNC Chairman—teed up Goodwin, saying that the driving force behind the new laws is a Republican desire to control women. Goodwin took that a giant step further, claiming that "cruelty is the point behind all of this. I've...

Metal exposure from environmental pollution is associated with increased buildup of calcium in the coronary arteries at a level that is comparable to traditional risk factors like smoking and diabetes, according to a study. The findings support the fact that metals in the body are associated with the progression of plaque buildup in the arteries. Atherosclerosis is a condition where the arteries become narrowed and hardened due to a buildup of plaque. It's an underlying cause of heart attacks, strokes and peripheral artery disease (PAD), the most common forms of cardiovascular disease (CVD). Atherosclerosis causes coronary artery calcium (CAC). Researchers...

According to researchers, 80% of patients with previously untreated or relapsed/refractory advanced-phase chronic myeloid leukemia (CML)—including both accelerated or myeloid blast phases of the disease—or Philadelphia chromosome-positive acute myeloid leukemia (AML) achieved a bone marrow remission when treated with a novel combination of decitabine, venetoclax and ponatinib. Findings from the Phase II clinical trial represent an important step forward for patients with advanced-phase CML, who tend to have poor outcomes. "Over the last decade, there have been very few studies that evaluated a regimen to treat this rare disease and identify a potential standard-of-care treatment," said Nicholas Short, M.D. "It...

When John Huston's crew arrived on the island of Tobago in September of 1956 to begin filming his new picture, Heaven Knows, Mr. Allison, 20th Century Fox were hoping that it would repeat the massive success of The African Queen – another story about a mismatched couple stranded in the wilderness, pitted against a well-armed enemy in a backwater of a global war. It was a war picture, but a decade since World War Two had ended these had gone from propaganda pictures (Bataan, Destination Tokyo) to gritty dramas full of battle scenes (Battleground, 12 O'Clock High) to adventure pictures...

Russian State TV recently broadcasted a segment of a talk show during which the hosts discussed the potential of Alaska joining Russia. In the show, the host makes a joke saying: "Do you know what they call Alaska? Ice Crimea." He then adds that Alaska will "one day return to its native shores." The hosts are referencing the fact that Alaska once "belonged" to Russia, before being sold to the United States in 1866. This echoes rhetoric used in the war in Ukraine, that Ukraine "belonged" to Russia, and therefore should rejoin its so-called native land.

Senate Republicans met Tuesday for Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s weekly off-the-record members’ lunch. These meetings, along with regular Wednesday Steering Committee lunches, are among the few regular times when party senators gather in one room to set party policy and messaging. There are few clearer windows into McConnell’s priorities than these lunches, and Tuesday did not disappoint: The RAND Corporation was invited to present its report on military spending and the potential need to raise taxes to increase the military percentage of the country’s GDP. That’s right; that was the priority. It wasn’t the former president and Republican nominee, who...

Physical buttons are increasingly rare in modern cars. Most manufacturers are switching to touchscreens – which perform far worse in a test carried out by Vi Bilägare. The driver in the worst-performing car needs four times longer to perform simple tasks than in the best-performing car. The screens in modern cars keep getting bigger. Design teams at most car manufacturers love to ditch physical buttons and switches, although they are far superior safety-wise. That is the conclusion when Swedish car magazine Vi Bilägare performed a thurough test of the HMI system (Human-Machine Interface) in a total of twelve cars this...
