Non-profit organizations, such as churches, are also allowed to reopen under the new resolution. ATWATER, Calif. (KFSN) -- The City of Atwater has declared itself a "sanctuary city" for all businesses, allowing owners to open despite the state of California's stay-at-home order amid the coronavirus pandemic. The Atwater City Council voted on the resolution on Friday afternoon, saying it, "Affirms the city's commitment to fundamental constitutional rights." "This is America. You have the choice. It's time for the government to stop dictating another month, another three months, six months," said Atwater Mayor Paul Creighton. "When is it going to end?...

May 20, 1940 6am. Railway embankment overlooking “Fishaw village”. I could see the boys fighting like hell with tanks all around them simply going over the men, and what a terrible sight. A German machine gun opened out on my left flank on us - did he do his stuff. He simply raked us with machine gun fire and to complete his work, 2 tanks came up behind us and positioned themselves about 20 yards away. They opened out with their 2lb shells and simply blasted us out of the embankment.

Gov. Janet Mills has continued to lift lockdown measures that have slowed the pandemic in Maine even though the state has failed to meet key reopening prerequisites and other essential benchmarks and guidelines established by public health experts. The missed targets include downward trends in new cases, minimum levels of daily tests performed, and the establishment of a regime to routinely test asymptomatic individuals in exposed roles such as health care providers, supermarket clerks, ambulance crews and factory employees. “If we are really going to bring our society back to normal and have a major reopening, we need to be...
  • Money pit or sinkhole? Retired geologist digs up Oak Island's history

    05/17/2020 11:50:26 AM PDT · by BenLurkin · 122 replies
The bedrock under the east side of Oak Island, where the money pit is located, is made up of Windsor Group limestone and gypsum. "Given the right conditions, such as temperature, pressure, poor fluid composition, quite often these minerals, especially gypsum, they're prone to dissolution," Aitken said. What you're left with is essentially a cavity in the bedrock, or a kind of cave. At the money pit, Aitken said the geological evidence suggests the roof of the cave collapsed. He said there are also other sinkholes nearby, which further shows the so-called tunnels and pits are not engineered, as the...

What many whom in some ways see political advantages to Prolonging the Shut down may not have considered: 1. Americans have realized they can work from home. Potential max exodus from urban areas where people are easier to control. Housing boom in suburban and rural areas as professionals leave crowded urban areas prone to public transportation and spread of contagions and higher crime. 2. Students are not being indoctrinated with the socialist propaganda at many government schools - Many families discover they actually like teaching their own children or would prefer private schools. 3. Due to federalist principles being executed...

The ban - part of a European Union initiative - will come into effect on Wednesday, May 20. Under the new directive, flavoured rolling tobacco and "skinny" cigarettes will be outlawed. ...In March 2020, during the Coronavirus outbreak, the Gates Foundation awarded a more than $79 million grant to Imperial College London. The Imperial College London model, spearheaded by team leader Neil Ferguson, projected 2.2 million American casualties. The disastrous model led to Elon Musk lambasting Ferguson, who resigned as an adviser to the British government when he was caught flaunting the very lockdown that his numbers inspired. Imperial College London admits on its website that its research on arboviruses, which includes work on vaccine projections undertaken by Neil Ferguson himself is Gates-funded, stating, “Our research is funded by the Bill...

Proselytism: Pope Francis’ Pet Phantom Thou shall not convert anyone to Catholicism "Papa don't preach," screeches Madonna in her album True Blue. "People of God, don't proselytize," thunders Papa Francesco from his bully pulpit.  Like a teenager tormenting his parents with Heavy Metal, Francis is amplifying his polemic against proselytism to earsplitting decibels.  "Proselytism is a sinful attitude," he fulminated, en route to a 2016 gabfest with Lutherans, counting down to the 500th anniversary of arch-heretic Martin Luther hammering a nail on a Wittenberg church door. St. Paul preaching in Athens (Raphael, 1515) When a girl told Francis she wanted to invite her unchurched friends to church,...

History-lover Lennon Thomas, 20, was stopped in his tracks by three gun-toting police after families were shocked at what he appeared to be carrying in the park. Lennon said: "Sorry - it looks like I might have scared a few people around the lake." Student Lennon pulled on one of his selection of outfits for fantasy...

The U.S. debate over restrictions for fighting the coronavirus intensified in the last few weeks, as protesters labeled mandatory lockdowns as “tyranny,” while medical workers and health experts cautioned that lifting them too soon risked unleashing a greater disaster. We’ve seen it happen time and again: clambering for attention in our click-driven world, major news outlets cherry-pick sensational stories and dramatize their headlines. This tactic has blown countless news stories out of proportion and COVID-19 isn’t one of them. Americans are skeptical of the news media. A recent Gallup Poll shows that 55% of Americans disapprove of the way the...

The raging public debate over statewide coronavirus lockdowns is running parallel to a series of legal battles in state capitals - and the lockdown skeptics got a big boost this week. The decision by Wisconsin’s Supreme Court on Wednesday to toss Gov. Tony Evers’ statewide shelter-in-place order set off a scramble in cities across the state to impose their own local restrictions. Elsewhere, bars and restaurants shut down by the order declared themselves open for business. And legal challenges are continuing to pile-up across the country - even as governors who extend their state’s shelter-in-place orders begin peeling back some...

...The lawsuits seek damages related to depriving students of in-person instruction and campus amenities without issuing any form of tuition refunds. Some schools have even declined to issue room and board reimbursements. The South Carolina-based Anastopoulo law firm kicked off the suits in mid-April, filing on behalf of students at Drexel University and the University of Miami. Since then, the firm has filed an additional 19 lawsuits against colleges and universities across the entire country. Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has condemned armed protests in Michigan calling for an end to pandemic-related lockdowns, denouncing them as “domestic terrorism.” Clinton shared a tweet on Friday about protests at the state legislature in Michigan, commenting: “Armed men storming a legislature to disrupt its democratic proceedings is domestic terrorism. It cannot be tolerated.”Hundreds gathered to protest Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s stay-at-home order on Thursday in Lansing. It was the third major demonstration at the state’s Capitol since businesses were shuttered in March due to the outbreak of COVID-19, the disease caused by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) virus, the novel coronavirus that emerged...

WASHINGTON, D. C. - A former Cleveland Clinic researcher who received more than $3.6 million in National Institutes of Health grants is facing criminal charges for failing to disclose his ties to Chinese universities and his connections to a Chinese government program described as a conduit for theft of U.S. intellectual property. The FBI and officials from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services inspector general’s office arrested Dr. Qing Wang on Wednesday at his Shaker Heights home. Prosecutors say Wang appeared Thursday before Magistrate Judge Jonathan D. Greenberg, who released him on $100,000 bond and required him to...

Florida’s COVID-19 response has been a tremendous success story. Much like Georgia, where Gov. Brian Kemp resisted the Cult of Eternal Lockdown, the Republican governor of Florida, Ron DeSantis, delayed issuing a statewide lockdown order and was one of the first governors to lift the order. As I have explained elsewhere, most Florida counties were handling their own coronavirus outbreaks with local policies, so DeSantis didn’t feel a statewide lockdown was necessary, especially because there were so many counties with very few cases, but finally he gave in to the political pressure. And as soon as May 1 arrived, DeSantis...

Q is the result of the sacrifices and commitment of countless patriots to win back our captured country from the Deep State and achieve the transformation President Trump promised in this campaign video. President Trump has said the awakening of the public is key to this transformation.Q describes this awakening as follows: "The Great Awakening ('Freedom of Thought’), was designed and created not only as a backchannel to the public (away from the longstanding ‘mind’ control of the corrupt & heavily biased media) to endure future events through transparency and regeneration of individual thought (breaking the chains of ‘group-think’), but,...

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) — Conservative lawmakers in Alabama last year tried to enact the nation's most stringent abortion ban, but the attempt to outlaw the procedure may have had one ironic twist. An Alabama-based abortion rights group used a flood of donations that poured in from across the country after the ban to purchase the state’s busiest abortion clinic to ensure it stays open. Yellowhammer Fund — a group founded to help low-income women access abortion — announced the purchase of West Alabama Women’s Center on Friday, the one-year anniversary of the passage of the Alabama ban.

Almost all, if not all, Federal workers are receiving FULL pay and benefits while on lockdown at home while doing no work at all. It is a fact that IRS workers are receiving full pay while most of them are at home not working at all. The media has produced almost no stories (can't find any in a search) on this subject for some reason or another.
