Right in the center of where the ring of data points was located was a huge smokestack—one of two that are part of a sprawling plant operated by Shanghai Gaore Industries. Bloomberg describes the company as a distributor of "coal and other minerals and ores." **** This particular stack seems to be entirely dormant or abandoned, with its nearby twin bellowing away consistently in satellite imagery. In fact, in all the satellite photos we could find, the smokestack in question hasn't emitted anything going all the way back to 2011. ***** After reviewing dozens of proprietary satellite photos spanning the...

Clint Eastwood’s “Richard Jewell” is a Jewel of a Film, a Grand Flourish for the 90 Years Young Director A friend of mine called this morning who’d seen Clint Eastwood’s Richard Jewell last night in Hollywood. She knew I was seeing it this morning in New York. “It’s going to upset your apple cart of an Oscar list,” she said. She was right. Eastwood, at 90, has made a jewel of a film in “Richard Jewell,” a real masterclass in filmmaking. Eastwood will have to be nominated for Best Director. The screenplay and music (by Arturo Sandoval) will have to...

~ GIVING THANKS ~ Psalm 92:1 - 5 1 It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High: 2 To shew forth thy loving kindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night, 3 Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound. 4 For thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands. 5 O LORD, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very...

A lawyer for an indicted associate of Rudy Giuliani tells CNN that his client is willing to tell Congress about meetings the top Republican on the House Intelligence Committee had in Vienna last year with a former Ukrainian prosecutor to discuss digging up dirt on Joe Biden. The attorney, Joseph A. Bondy, represents Lev Parnas, the recently indicted Soviet-born American who worked with Giuliani to push claims of Democratic corruption in Ukraine. Bondy said that Parnas was told directly by the former Ukrainian official that he met last year in Vienna with Rep. Devin Nunes.

The Howard County, Maryland, school board voted to implement a massive, 1970s-style busing program Thursday, despite overwhelming opposition. After one vote failed, members went into a back room, and when they came out, one of the members who voted “no” was crying. They did a do-over and she changed her vote. Board member Jennifer Mallo lectured to constituents who voiced displeasure, saying it was a “privilege” that they got to witness the meeting, admonishing them not criticize her on social media, and complaining about her salary. Immigrants from China and the former Soviet Union said that what they were witnessing...

Parents in Conroe, Texas were recently shocked to discover that a drag queen had been brought in to teach the Willis High School cosmetology students how to apply makeup. According to one teacher, however, these parents have no right to be outraged, and what’s more, he believes that parents “don’t know what’s best for their children.” And they wonder why families are flocking to homeschool? SMH! Community Impact Newspaper reported that the school administration was fully aware that the drag queen, known as Lynn Adonis-Deveaux, had a history of performing in drag shows but believed he would not be showing...

Morales, an iconic socialist leader in Latin America who had been in power for nearly 14 years, has said he was toppled in a coup and has relocated to Mexico, which has granted him asylum. But lawmakers in his Movement to Socialism (MAS) party have reached a deal with other parties to pass legislation needed to appoint a new electoral board to call new elections. The bill they hashed out would annul the Oct. 20 election and was passed by the Senate unanimously on Saturday. The lower chamber was expected to pass it later in the day. In the highland...

Timing is everything for living legend Clint Eastwood. The actor/director served up “American Sniper” after Hollywood stopped firing cinematic shots at the U.S. Military. The results? “Sniper” earned $350 million at the U.S. box office. Two years later Eastwood directed “Sully,” just when movie goers craved a true American hero story. That movie hauled in $125 million domestically. He may have topped himself with “Richard Jewell.” The film, out Dec. 13, recalls how the FBI and media unfairly painted the portly security guard as the main suspect in the 1996 Atlanta Olympics bombing. The blast killed one and injured 111...

Apparently, it's not enough that leftist hedge fund billionaire and 'stateless statesman' George Soros and his non-government organization front groups made a lunge to take over much of eastern Europe, visibly in the case of Ukraine during the Maidan revolution. Nor is the Soros seeding of first the Obama administration, and then the Trump administration, with former operatives of his from other outfits. Some, in the case of Trump, are now testifying as witnesses in the impeachment hearings. Now, the Soros cash is rising to flood levels, targeting GOP Congress members to vote in support of impeaching Trump. Here's the...

Hundreds of “anti-hate” protesters took to the UC Berkeley campus tonight to protest Ann Coulter’s speech, and to try to prevent people from going in to hear her. Look at this.... Yes, it’s Berkeley, but you know as well as I do that if right-wingers were forming a human wall preventing people from going to hear a prominent left-wing speaker, it would be on all the national news outlets, and we would be talking about the Coming Crisis Of Fascism. But as it is, this is just another day in progressive America. Seriously, what if a mob of white people...

Would it be considered corruption if a US VP flies his son on a gov plane on an official gov mission to a foreign country of which said VP has certain official oversight responsibilities and introduces said son to a certain known corrupt corporation and son ends up in a lucrative position with said corrupt corporation that enriches him? In the case of Biden & Son regarding Ukraine and Burisma, is this a conspiracy theory or is it fact?

The flight that put the Boeing Company on course for disaster lifted off a few hours after sunrise. It was good flying weather—temperatures in the mid-40s with a slight breeze out of the southeast—but oddly, no one knew where the 737 jetliner was headed. The crew had prepared three flight plans: one to Denver. One to Dallas. And one to Chicago. In the plane’s trailing vortices was greater Seattle, where the company’s famed engineering culture had taken root; where the bulk of its 40,000-plus engineers lived and worked; indeed, where the jet itself had been assembled. But it was May...

The far-left Vanity Fair got its Trump-hating hands on some exclusive impeachment data, and it is all bad news for Democrats and their fellow coup plotters in the media. The headline reads: “Polling Suggests Democrats’ Impeachment Push Could Alienate Key Voters.” The sub-headline reads: “Data exclusive to Vanity Fair shows impeachment could be a losing issue for Democrats hoping to recruit Independents in 2020. ‘Lots of people who don’t like Trump who are still prepared to vote for him,’ says one political science expert.” And here is the math, and some of it is stunning. We’ll start with my favorite...
