Biden shoved his finger in Doocy’s face and demanded that he “ask the right question Well, it’s happened again. This time it was during a press conference in Los Angeles. The biggest casualty of the Trump impeachment proceedings is...everything. Whether you are pro or con—and the nation is apparently split evenly right now—it’s clear that the presidential mess makes it impossible for Washington to focus on much of anything. Which I might add is no reason to drop the investigation. To my mind it merely means, as Congressman Adam Schiff has emphasized, the process should be expeditious. (please see link for full article)

Comedian Terrence K. Williams of “The Deplorables” comedy troupe, pleaded for help Friday amidst fears Twitter was targeting his account for his support of President Trump. A popular blue check conservative with over 600,000 followers, Williams received a legal warning from Twitter right before he was to go to the White House’s “Young Black Leadership Summit.” A little after 2pm on October 4, Williams tweeted, “TWITTERS LEGAL TEAM CONTACTED ME ON THE DAY I GO TO THE WHITE HOUSE! Reedsburg, Wis. -- It’s not the worst of times in Sauk County, Wisconsin. It may even be the best of times in this bucolic mix of dairy farms and vacation homes, factory workers and professionals. But after two years of strong economic growth, the outlook here in this battleground county in a battleground state is softening. “Plateauing,” says Kurt Muchow, a community development consultant for Wisconsin municipalities. “A little bit of angst,” says Ed White, executive director of the Sauk County Development Corp. in Baraboo. And a little bit of mystery, too. After strong job growth in President Donald Trump’s...

[Catholic Caucus] The Ghost of Viganò The papal nuncio-turned-whistleblower is casting a long shadow over Rome It's little wonder Abp. Carlo Maria Viganò is in hiding for fear of his life. In the run-up to the Amazon Synod, the former Vatican U.S. ambassador-turned-whistleblower is casting a long shadow over Rome, as his extensive accusations about the darkness within these walls continues to be proven true. Just recently, the pope requested the indictment of Fr. Gabriele Martinelli, accused of sexually assaulting seminarians at the Pope Pius X Pre-Seminary, which trains the pope's altar boys. The request came after years of inaction...

This cohort leans Republican now more than ever; a Gallup poll this year shows they favor the GOP by a whopping 25 percentage points. It was as if the Democratic Party didn’t understand how much they needed labor. Oddly, it appears they still don’t. “The working-class voters in my county tend to wonder if the party still wants them,” says Mark Hackel, the Democratic chief executive of Macomb County, Mich., where voters favored Trump over Clinton by 11 percentage points. “They’re not really sure where they fit in.” Mike Mikus, a Democratic strategist who helped guide Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf’s...

The Maine senator was unequivocal in her statements, which came after a firefighters memorial service in Augusta on Saturday morning, joining Mitt Romney, R-Utah, and Ben Sasse, R-Nevada, in breaking rank with GOP support for the president. “I thought the president made a big mistake by asking China to get involved in investigating a political opponent,” Collins said. “It’s completely inappropriate.” The president’s comments came days after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-California, announced a formal impeachment probe into his attempt to solicit foreign help in an election, which is illegal and considered by many lawmakers to be a foundational threat...

He mentioned, “civil battle.” Individuals taking on arms in opposition to different Individuals in his title. “Civil Warfare 2” began trending on Twitter. A homeless maniac bludgeoned four other vagrants to death as they slept on the sidewalks of Chinatown early Saturday — bashing in their skulls one by one with a scavenged metal bar during a senseless predawn murder spree. Rodriguez “Randy” Santos is just 24, but already had what cops call a history of violent, random attacks when he allegedly approached his first victims, two men sprawled asleep side by side at Bowery and Doyers Street just before 2 a.m.

When I came to faith as a 16-year-old, drug-using, hippie rock drummer, I was told that Jesus was returning very soon. The end of the world was near. Very near. Today, there is a new religious narrative, especially among young people, with a new "end of the world" scenario. But this one is depressing and grim, with nothing redemptive about it. I'm talking about the new religion of manmade global warning. It has its unique gods (like Mother Earth). It deifies the created world (with seminarians confessing to plants in a chapel service). It has its high priests and religious...

Calling former Vice President Joe Biden's denials of knowledge about his son's business dealings "patently ridiculous," author Peter Schweizer said Thursday on "America's Newsroom" that Hunter Biden's role on the board of a Ukrainian gas company must be investigated. Schweizer, the author of “Secret Empires" and president of the Government Accountability Institute, argued it's "legitimate" for Biden and his son to be probed because Biden was vice president at the time. "The notion that if you're running for office, you get a 'get out of jail free' card, I think, is ridiculous. There's nothing wrong with saying it should be...
