There’s no better way to get a window into the complicated world of a musician like Scott Stapp than by listening to their music. Scott Stapp’s latest album, The Space Between the Shadows, which dropped back in July, is driven by the song “Purpose for Pain.” The standout single mines the tumultuous period the singer endured since his last record in 2013 for inspiration. “Purpose for Pain” clearly carries a potent message, with a chorus that hits with all the subtlety of a sledgehammer: There’s gotta be more / Cause this life is insane / Gotta turn this around /...

The iconic A-10 Thunderbolt II will be flying into the late 2030s thanks to a re-winging project completed by the U.S. Air Force. Air Force Materiel Command said in a press release on Monday that 162 A-10s received new wings thanks to a $1.1 billion project that began in 2011. The contract, awarded to Boeing in 2007, required the creation of new parts for the plane’s fuselage. “At the end of the program, making sure we had all the pieces and parts that we needed to make that happen required a really significant team effort,” said Stephen Zaiser, director of...

CLEAR LAKE, Iowa — Former Gov. John Hickenlooper of Colorado is in discussions about ending his presidential bid and entering the race for his state’s Republican-held Senate seat, potentially giving Democrats a strong candidate in a race they must win to have hopes of retaking the chamber in 2021, according to four Democrats familiar with his thinking.

I keep hearing Tommy Lee Jones’s voice: “Your fugitive’s name is Ghislaine Maxwell.” We must find this degenerate, wherever she may be hiding globally, and bring her to justice. In the meantime, after reading this Vanity Fair piece I’m revising my theory about that mysterious temple on Epstein’s Pedophile Island. Old theory: The temple is a satanic playground where Epstein and his jetset cohorts would do unspeakable things to children as part of some ritual sacrifice to Zozo or whoever. New theory: The temple is actually a massive surveillance hub where Epstein would review and store all of the blackmail...

Demonstrating that he had no problem with picking on children, CNN’s raging Chris Cuomo ended Tuesday’s Prime Time by taking shots at the Covington Kids by suggesting they were “victims of their own choices.” While chiding the students for wearing MAGA hats, Cuomo also proved his willingness to disregard the truth and peddled the lies of agitator Nathan Phillips. Cuomo aided in pushing provably false claims Phillips was trying to defuse the situation. Despite claiming he wanted to give the Covington Kids “a little leeway” because they were young, Cuomo claimed Covington Catholic student Nick Sandmann escalated the confrontation “into...

Passenger Rebecca Sears, 19, claimed a Konectbus driver at Norwich Bus Station insisted on swapping buses as the one he was in 'promoted homosexuality'. She said that the driver, who appeared to be in his 50s with grey hair, was referring to the vehicle's service number which featured the colours of the gay-pride rainbow flag. Rebecca said: 'He said we have to wait a minute, he said I am not driving this bus because it promotes homosexuality. 'I was standing with two other women...

The Trump administration is applying new regulations to protect endangered species, rolling back some requirements [in order] to ground the policy in scientific and economic factors, the Interior Department announced Monday. The regulations, based on the 1973 Endangered Species Act, will “increase transparency and effectiveness and bring the administration of the Act into the 21st century,” the agency said. The rules won’t extend the same protections to threatened species as are applied to those already on the endangered list. Nor will they look as far into the future to project what species face extinction. The changes likely will draw litigation...

RUSH: This is hilarious. This turns out to be one of the biggest inside jokes in the country. The Drive-By Media still doesn’t know, they still don’t know the origins of Chris Cuomo being affectionately called Fredo. They still don’t know, folks. Yet they claim I’m responsible for the El Paso shooter and I’m responsible for all of the lack of gun control. I’m the guy that’s gonna prevent Washington from doing it. And they do not know that the reason a guy approached Fredo Cuomo at some bar in New York last night and said, “Hey, Fredo, can I...

CNN’s Chris Cuomo was caught having a massive meltdown after one man addressed him as “Fredo Cuomo,” a longtime nickname given to the CNN anchor by Rush Limbaugh. (Snip) @realDonaldTrump Would Chris Cuomo be given a Red Flag for his recent rant? Filthy language and a total loss of control. He shouldn’t be allowed to have any weapon. He’s nuts!

‘I have no idea’ if Clintons were involved in Epstein’s death ‘Find out if Bill Clinton went to Epstein Island and you’ll learn a lot…’ Asked Tuesday if he believed the Clintons had anything to do with Epstein’s demise, Trump said: “I have no idea.” “I know Bill Clinton was on his plane 27 times,” Trump said. “That was not a good place, and I was never there. You have to ask, did Bill Clinton go to the island?” “That’s the question. If you find that out, you’re going to know a lot.” Clinton’s spokesman said last month that Clinton...

I think I really do love all of these dunces we laughingly refer to as celebrities. The latest "absolutely awesome talent" that's in quotes, is this Sarah Silverman person. Apparently she did a sketch in black face 12 years ago and now she's being called out for her mortal sin against mankind. It really is heartening to see the very leftists that she is supposedly in league with turn on her and then rip her to shreds. More fun than the Roman coliseum at its height of glory. So many, many other stars have been so-called "called out" for past...

The crisis in Hong Kong appears to be careening towards a devastating climax. With China’s government now using rhetoric reminiscent of what preceded the Tiananmen Square massacre in June 1989, Hong Kong’s pro-democracy protesters – and, indeed, its democracy – could well be in grave danger. For more than two months, Hong Kong has been beset by protests. Triggered by a proposed law to allow the extradition of criminal suspects to mainland China, the demonstrations have since developed into broader calls to safeguard – or, perhaps more accurately, restore – the semi-autonomous territory’s democracy, including by strengthening state (especially police)...

Whoever came up with the phrase “useful idiots†— it’s often credited to Lenin, but there’s no evidence he ever said it — was on to something. There are times when dangerous political movements derive important support from people who will, if these movements achieve and hold power, be among their biggest victims. Certainly I found myself thinking of the phrase when I read about the Trump fund-raiser held at the Hamptons home of Stephen Ross, chairman of a company that holds controlling stakes in Equinox and SoulCycle. Most reporting on the Ross event has focused on the possible adverse effects on his business empire:...
