Renowned long distance shooter Paul Phillips successfully made a 6,000-yard shot using a custom rifle chambered in .416 Barrett. Paul started shooting as a young boy, with his trusty Daisy BB gun by his side. By age 13, he was hunting small game and going afield with his father. At the age of 18, Paul joined the United Sates Marine Corps as an Infantryman. He learned the art of long range shooting as a member of 1/1 scout sniper platoon, and earned his Combat Action Ribbon with Task Force Papa Bear in 1991. After leaving the service, Paul earned a...

The prominent Vatican Cardinal Robert Sarah, as his newly released book is causing furor in Europe, said it is wrong to “use the word of God to promote migration.” The Guinean cardinal, prefect of the Vatican’s Congregation for Divine Worship, said that using the Bible to promote migration constitutes “false exegesis,” adding that it is better “to help people flourish in their culture than to encourage them to come to Europe.” In an interview last week, the cardinal condemned the Church’s push for migration into Europe in the strongest terms, insisting that most immigrants wind up “without work or dignity”...

The Democrats today killed a Bill that would have provided great relief to Farmers and yet more money to Puerto Rico despite the fact that Puerto Rico has already been scheduled to receive more hurricane relief funding than any “place” in history. The people of Puerto Rico..... ....are GREAT, but the politicians are incompetent or corrupt. Puerto Rico got far more money than Texas & Florida combined, yet their government can’t do anything right, the place is a mess - nothing works. FEMA & the Military worked emergency miracles, but politicians like..... ....the crazed and incompetent Mayor of San Juan...

Martin Luther, as a herald of the Reformation, exclaimed that the church must be profane. It must move out of the temple and into the world. Luther looked to the Latin roots of the word profane, which comes from pro-fanus (“outside the temple”). If Christ is not relevant outside the church, He is insignificant inside the church. If our faith is bound to the inner chambers of the Christian community, it is at best a disobedient faith and at worst, no faith at all. It was the Pharisees who developed the doctrine of salvation by separation. They were practicing segregationists,...

The virulently anti-Israel campaign known as the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement is roiling through college campuses, overflowing into city councils, encroaching into corporate boardrooms, and now chomping at the essence of Israel’s special niche in the world: its travel and tourism industry. Everywhere, the boycotters have been asking to isolate Israel. BDS even convinced Airbnb to stop listing Jewish locations in Judea and Samaria, also known as the West Bank (a term invented after Jordan invaded in 1948, when the United Nations’ partition suggestion failed to create two states). In Ireland, a bill advancing through Parliament may criminalize visiting the old city...

The United States is home to nearly 20 percent of the globe’s migrant population, a new study finds. The Pew Research Center reveals in a new study that the U.S. has admitted more foreign nationals than any other country in the world. Roughly 18 percent of the world’s migrant population lives in the U.S., the study found. About 44.5 million foreign-born residents now live in the U.S., far surpassing Germany’s 12.2 million foreign-born population and Russia’s nearly 12 million foreign-born population.

Easily the most hands-on vice president the United States has ever seen, Joe Biden’s creepy old man behavior is finally catching up with him. After decades of snuggling up to, hugging, sniffing, and kissing unsuspecting, helpless women of all ages, the avuncular, gaffe-prone 76-year-old politician has suddenly come under attack for two such examples of unwanted touching that allegedly took place in Nevada in 2014 and in Connecticut in 2009. Lucy Flores, the Democrats’ nominee for lieutenant governor of Nevada five years ago, wrote an essay March 29 at something called The Cut detailing how she endured undesired touching by...

REPARATIONS FOR American slavery are a misbegotten idea, unworkable and unjust, but every now and then they come back into vogue as a political talking point. In 1969, the radical civil rights activist James Forman made headlines when he seized the pulpit of New York's Riverside Church and issued a "black manifesto"demanding $500 million in reparations for African enslavement. Thirty years later, Randall Robinson, founder of the black social-justice organization TransAfrica, revived the reparations movement with his bestselling book The Debt: What America Owes to Blacks. Now progressive Democrats, or at least some of the ones running for their party's 2020 presidential nomination, are...

The father of Democratic presidential hopeful Pete Buttigieg was a Marxist professor who spoke fondly of the Communist Manifesto and dedicated a significant portion of his academic career to the work of Italian Communist Party founder Antonio Gramsci, an associate of Vladimir Lenin. Joseph Buttigieg, who died in January at the age of 71, immigrated to the U.S. in the 1970s from Malta and in 1980 joined the University of Notre Dame faculty, where he taught modern European literature and literary theory. He supported an updated version of Marxism that jettisoned some of Marx and Engel's more doctrinaire theories, though...

When Donald Trump meets with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg today, the president should give him a direct message: The roster of NATO membership is closed. For good. The United States will not hand out any more war guarantees to fight Russia to secure borders deep in Eastern Europe, when our own southern border is bleeding profusely. And no one needs to hear this message more than Stoltenberg. In Tblisi, Georgia, on March 25, Stoltenberg declared to the world: "The 29 allies have clearly stated that Georgia will become a member of NATO." As for Moscow's objection to Georgia joining...

Nothing keeps me religious more than the left, not even religion itself. I am not even particularly "spiritual." My religiosity is overwhelmingly rational (the title of my Bible commentary is "The Rational Bible"). I believe in God because creation rationally suggests a Creator. The force that has most propelled me to religion is the great (secular) religion of the last hundred years: the left. If most people of the left (the left, not liberalism) -- people who have not only rejected but scorned God, Judaism, Christianity and the Bible -- were decent individuals, were committed to intellectual honesty and had...

One person has been stabbed and 19 were injured after violence broke out at a memorial for rapper Nipsey Hussle outside the Los Angeles store where he was shot dead a day earlier. Scores of fans were holding a vigil at the Marathon Clothing store in the South Los Angeles neighborhood on Monday night when the disturbance occurred. A Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman said they had received a report of a possible shooting or stabbing. Dramatic footage showed the moment a stampede broke out as terrified fans fled across the parking lot where the memorial was being held.

It is surely not her intent, but Democrat Lucy Flores, in triggering a wave of attention to Joe Biden’s handsy moments, may have torpedoed the only Democrat with a chance of beating Donald Trump in nineteen months. The former Lieutenant Gubernatorial candidate from Nevada says she is sharing memories of their 2014 encounter because the behavior she describes is disqualifying. She apparently believes a sufficient number of Democrats feel similarly, to the extent that Biden would be such damaged goods that Trump would win. Because of this, she needs to make the TV rounds with her stories to prevent a...

There is no shortage of issues upon which Republicans and Democrats can respectfully disagree. We’re silly people sometimes though, and respect seems to come at quite a cost. There are a handful of issues, however, on which Democrats are so profoundly and dangerously wrong that I find myself incapable of empathy. Beto O’Rourke, Senator Kamala Harris, Senator Cory Booker, Senator Elizabeth Warren, Mayor Pete Buttigieg, and more have come out for eliminating the Electoral College. This is an unequivocal deal-breaker for me. It seems one of the only Democrats with any sense is the anti-establishment progressive, Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard, who...

Whenever a class war breaks out online, order is suspended, and instinct sets in. As the details of a college-admissions bribery scandal reached the public (dozens of wealthy families accused of buying fake grades, fake test scores and fake athletic achievements), the first impulse was to shame the parents; but the second was to go after their kids. People wanted to see how all those fraudulent academic investments were paying off. They wanted to look the brats in the eyes, to maul their social media feeds and kick around the scraps. Which led straight to the YouTube channel of Olivia...

The University of North Carolina women’s basketball coaching staff has been placed on paid administrative leave due to “issues raised by student-athletes and others,” according to the school’s athletics department. A law firm, Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein, will lead a review of the program’s culture and the experience of the student athletes, according to a statement from the UNC Athletics Department. While it’s not known how long the review will take, the department said it would be “thorough and prompt.” “The University of North Carolina is committed to the well-being of our student-athletes and to ensuring that they have...

Following an allegation that former Vice President Joe Biden inappropriately touched and kissed a former candidate in Nevada during a 2014 campaign event, Whoopi Goldberg is coming to his defense. During "The View" on Monday, the daytime talk show panel addressed the recent allegations Lucy Flores made against Biden, 76, with Goldberg saying that some would say the potential 2020 Democratic candidate is "overly familiar" with people he interacts with and explaining that he’s just “a hands-on kind of guy." Co-host Meghan McCain then went on to discuss how Flores "does not claim this is a MeToo moment" and the...
