The Mexican national, who owns a steak restaurant in the Indiana town of Granger, arrived in the country in 1998 before being detained two years later and...

A few weeks ago in this space I asked a simple question: How many victims of illegal alien crime will be enough to make Democrats and the media care about illegal alien crime? The answer was simple – there is no number. They’ll never care because they’ve hitched their fate to the prospect of legalizing illegals and winning their votes. But the problem they back-burner for political gain still smolders, and last week it claimed another victim…all in the name of “progress.”Montgomery County, Md., is one of the richest counties in the country. It’s also an extremely left-wing progressive county that...

A House intelligence committee investigation took a dramatic shift this week after newly disclosed intelligence reports suggested the Obama administration improperly gathered and disseminated secret electronic communications from President Trump and his transition team prior to inauguration. Rep. Devin Nunes (R., Calif.), the chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, indicated that the administration used its foreign intelligence gathering authority to spy on the discussions of Trump and his transition team by improperly unmasking the identity of Americans who were swept up in foreign electronic spying. "What I've read seems to be some level of surveillance activity, perhaps...

The Russians for years had influence over Donald Trump because of their investments with him, and he was by nature inclined to admire Vladimir Putin as a strongman ruler. Meanwhile, Trump had in his orbit a number of people with Moscow ties, including Paul Manafort, who practically bleeds borscht.

Yesterday following the horrific terror attack in London, which left 5 dead including an American tourist and 20 injured, British journalist Tommy Robinson unloaded on other reporters at the scene of the attack in front of the Parliament Building. Tommy Robinson, a former English Defense League leader, ripped into liberal politicians who have opened the doors to Islamic terror attacks in the UK. During an interview with Rebel Media, Robinson criticized the political leaders of Britain and their choice to allow open borders in which millions of largely unvetted migrants take advantage of. The reporter asks Robinson why he is...

If passed by the House and signed by President Trump, the bill would use an obscure law called the Congressional Review Act (CRA) to eliminate the rules before they go into effect. The CRA would also prevent the FCC from passing “substantially similar” regulations in the future, though no court has ruled on what agencies can pass under those standards. Critics of the privacy regulations say they are too onerous, and subject service providers to stricter regulations than websites such as Facebook and Google, which also collect consumer data.

His name was Fleming, and he was a poor Scottish farmer. One day, while trying to make a living for his family, he heard a cry for help coming from a nearby bog. He dropped his tools and ran to the bog. There, mired to his waist in black muck, was a terrified boy, screaming and struggling to free himself. Farmer Fleming saved the lad from what could have been a slow and terrifying death. The next day, a fancy carriage pulled up to the Scotsman's sparse surroundings. An elegantly dressed nobleman stepped out and introduced himself as the father...

"When soldiers attempted to intercept the vehicle, it fled." Authorities eventually managed to stop the 39-year-old French driver and detained him. Anouk Leemans saw police make the arrest.

In the US, death rates for middle-aged white working-class Americans are bucking a global trend. Instead of falling as treatments for killers like heart disease and cancer improve, death rates for white Americans without a college degree are on the rise, largely driven by increased rates of drug overdose, suicide, and alcohol use. These are considered "deaths of despair," Princeton professors Anne Case and Angus Deaton write in a new Brookings Paper on Economic Activity that describes the trend. The study follows up on Case and Deaton's previous work, which caused a stir in 2015 when it first revealed these...

“I’m not willing to do this anymore,” he says. He leans over, drops his head as if in penitence and pronounces himself riven with regrets. Now, at 53, Beck sees a nation of people who are at one another’s throats, and he blames his language, his meanness and his assaults, his constant selling of the idea that the other side was evil and that his side had the one true answer. He believes that his radio show and his TV shows and his rallies on the Mall paved the way for the incivility, intolerance and general indigestion that now plagues...

Authorities have arrested a 19-year-old dual U.S.-Israeli citizen whom they have reason to believe is behind the recent threats on Jewish community centers across the U.S., the Jerusalem Post has learned. A vandal spray painted a threat against President Trump on a wall near a California freeway, but the mainstream media and at least one attorney aren’t clear on its meaning. Put this one in the loony lefty bin. Hollywood actress Patricia Arquette, known for winning the best supporting actress Oscar two years ago, revealed she’s a conspiracy theorist last night on Twitter. After an Islamic terrorist killed 4 people and wounded at least 40 others in London Wednesday, the actress claimed it was all a ruse by President Trump to distract us from the FBI investigation into his ties with Russia: So far her tweet hasn’t received that much attention, but Arquette is certainly a media darling. In 2015 the actress made headlines when she gave a politically charged acceptance...

A deal has not yet been reached between the White House and congressional Republicans on the American Health Care Act, the bill intended to repeal and partially replace ObamaCare. Many Republicans have been unable to rally around the bill, asserting that it breaks too many promises made to the American people during the 2012, 2014, and 2016 election cycles. The latest disappointment involves the removal of a provision intended to stop illegal immigrants from receiving health insurance coverage from the bill. The change has made an already widely unpopular bill even more so.Reuters reports that the dropped provision would have...
