The last two polls, from FAU and the Florida Chamber of Commerce, had Trump ahead narrowly. This new one from Mason-Dixon has Hillary ahead by two, but I think the actual margin is less important right now than the fact that it does appear to be tight in Florida. A new poll shows Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump leading Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton. The USC Dornsife/Los Angeles Times Daybreak tracking poll, which tracks Americans’ support for the presidential candidates on a daily basis, showed Trump leading Clinton 44.3 percent to 43.6 percent as of Friday. The poll, which unlike other polls tracks the same population over time, represents a significant comeback for Trump, who as of Aug. 14 was trailing Clinton 46.3 percent to 41.6 percent.

The U.S. is seeking to forcibly limit how fast trucks, buses and other large vehicles can travel on the nation’s highways. A new proposal Friday would impose a nationwide limit by electronically capping speeds with a device on newly made U.S. vehicles that weigh more than 26,000 pounds. PHOENIX (KPHO/KTVK) - Donald Trump's planned event in Phoenix next Wednesday has been postponed. Officials with Trump's campaign say the GOP candidate will not be appearing in Phoenix, after all. But they say Trump is looking forward to visiting Arizona soon. Trump's appearance had been scheduled for Wednesday, August 31 at the Hyatt in downtown Phoenix. The speech was expected to focus on immigration reform policy.

MAYFIELD, KY -- At least two people have reported finding worms in food from McDonald's restaurants in two Kentucky communities. Mayfield resident Madison Stephens tells WPSD-TV that she visited the local McDonald's on Sunday and purchased food for her and her 1-year-old son. She says that as she was about to bite into her hamburger, a live worm fell out. At the McDonald's in Draffenville, about 25 miles away from Mayfield, Lacey Jo Lovett says she also found a worm in her burger on Tuesday.
