Karl Rove and everyone at Fox News need to take a good hard look in the mirror. After almost 3 months of pushing Romney and bashing Newt, they only served to create momentum for Gingrich; exactly opposite from what they wanted. I lost a lot of respect for FNC. Romney screwed up all by himself and having Fox in his corner hurt, not helped, him.
Yep. It’s been painfully obvious. F&F had an interview with Newt this morning and suddenly Karl (oh Karl we haven’t seen you in over a month) Rove shows up to bash Newt. He’s been acting like he’s OCD. Even Brit Hume’s voice went up 3 notches. They’ve been frantic to take Newt down.

Fox News went negative on Newt the instant his numbers went ahead of Romney’s. Before Romney ads. I’ve never seen such hyperventillating by FNC against anyone on our side of the aisle.
I’m sticking with Newt. I admire Santorum for his courage on social issues (sad commentary on the times in which we live). I’d be fine with him. I was disappointed with Perry in the debates. I was hoping to be wowed. He’s a doer, not a talker, and I don’t have a problem with that, but if he can’t make the case in a debate with his peers, he won’t be able to do it in the general. I would vote for any of the 3 over Romney.

I glad you’re watching for me. There isn’t a candidate out there who isn’t “flawed,” but there also isn’t one out there with Newt’s knowledge. Santorum is close, but the rise of the socially liberal Libertarians have screwed SoCons. Perry, I have to admit I don’t know that much about. I listened to speeches where he sounded great & debates where he sucked. I am just so sick of Romney and Romneybots whose nastiness has equaled that of the Paulbots.
Bret Baier had a strange moment a few weeks ago. Maybe I was the only one who picked up on it, but he looked like he’d been told the FNC meme was going to be a sunshine & roses approach to Romney and he wasn’t comfortable with it. Fox has started every day for the past few weeks with negative news toward Newt, positive news for Romney, wishy-washy news about all others, and hesitantly neutral about Ron Paul. They are following the GOP guidelines and I am reminded every day why I stopped watching Prime Time Fox 4 years ago.

I was attacked by a Protestant girl when I was in 6th grade. 1963. We were waiting for a cab to take us to church school and a classmate came up to us and yelled that we thought we were better than everyone else. We were in shock because we’d never been taught that. It was many years later that I realized how many kids had been taught to hate Catholics. What Christians really need to be railing against is left versus right instead of denominations. The Church is not the enemy. Leftists invade all denominations. They are the enemy.
