Former President Obama says exiting the White House helped give his marriage to Michelle Obama a boost. The 44th president was asked in a Tuesday interview with “CBS Mornings” co-host Nate Burleson about comments the former first lady had made about not liking her husband for roughly “10 years” of their union. “How do you get back in good graces?” Burleson asked Obama to laughs from the ex-commander-in-chief. “Let me just say this: It sure helps to be out of the White House and to have a little more time with her,” Obama replied.

Former first lady Michelle Obama discussed her marriage to former President Barack Obama and offered advice to younger couples during a recent episode of The Michelle Obama Podcast, explaining that she has, at times, wanted to “push Barack out of the window.” “You want LeBron [James]. You don’t want the guy, third row on the bench, who didn’t make the team, but we often don’t think about that,” she said, offering advice to those looking for their partner by likening the process to assembling a basketball team. “What you’re supposed to say is, ‘I have married LeBron. My version of...

Michelle Obama explained that at times she wanted to “push Barack out of the window” during the most recent episode of The Michelle Obama Podcast. The former first lady, who will celebrate her 28th wedding anniversary with husband Barack Obama next month, spoke candidly about the up and downs of her marriage with guest Conan O’Brien. “There were times that I wanted to push Barack out of the window. And I say that because it’s like, you’ve got to know the feelings will be intense. But that doesn’t mean you quit,” she said. “And these periods can last a long...

'I was one of those wives who thought, "I'm taking you to marriage counseling so you can be fixed, Barack Obama." Because I was like, "I'm perfect." I was like, "Dr. X, please fix him"', she said, prompting the audience to laugh.

On June 26, 2015, the U.S. Supreme Court made same-sex marriage legal across the U.S., declaring that refusing to do so would violate the Constitution. Shortly after the high court’s landmark decision, the Obama administration celebrated by lighting the White House in rainbow colors. Now, more than three years after that historic Obergefell v. Hodges ruling, former first lady Michelle Obama revealed that she and her daughter Malia, then 16, snuck out of the White House that night to join in on the fun happening outside their residence. Obama also recounted the story in her appearance Thursday on “The Ellen...

(CNSNews.com) - The White House has published a series of brief reports outlining what the administration considers President Barack Obama’s record of achievements in various areas of public policy. The report on Obama’s record on “Social Progress and Equality” begins by listing the Supreme Court’s declaration that same-sex marriage is a right and the administration’s swift enforcement of that decision as among Obama’s top achievements

In a mass e-mail sent out to supporters by the Democrat Party, Obama admits for the first time that he lied to voters repeatedly about his views on marriage. In fact, if his latest claims are to be believed, Obama has actually been lying to voters for decades, going all the way back to when he launched his political career in the home of Castro-backed communist terrorist Bill Ayers. Despite proudly lying to voters all those years when he claimed to believe in the sacredness of what is today called “traditional” marriage, Obama admitted that one of the reasons he...

WASHINGTON, D.C., January 18, 2016 (LifeSiteNews) -- President Obama says that marriage's redefinition "is here to stay." Obama's comments, which he directed in part at Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore, came in response to a question from YouTube creator and open lesbian Ingrid Nilsen, who asked "if progress in the LGBT community is not here to stay in certain states?" "Oh, no, it's here to stay," said the president. “Understand that the Supreme Court has ruled that under the Constitution everybody in all 50 states has the right to marry the person they love. That's now the law of the...

President Obama late Sunday predicted marriage equality probably won’t be an issue in the 2016 presidential race, saying the U.S. has “come too far” since the 2004 campaign. "Tonight we live in an America where 'Don't Ask Don't Tell' is something that 'don't exist,' " he said to cheers and applause at the beginning of his remarks to a Democratic National Committee LGBT gala in New York, according to a reporter traveling with the president. The president told the audience that cynics who said change is “too messy” have been proven wrong time after time. Obama also said that 2016...

The lesbian teacher fired from a Philadelphia-area Catholic school after complaints over her homosexual “marriage” has been invited to the White House to attend the welcoming ceremony for Pope Francis. [Snip] The women, who were already planning to attend papal events in Washington D.C. and the World Meeting of Families, were reportedly “giddy” about the news of their invitation. "Obviously we won't be talking to the pope, but we will be in the vicinity," Winters said of the White House event. "But symbolically, it's a great step forward."

If Obama is Muslim, why is he pro-abortion and pro-gay "marriage"? [vanity]

Pardon the vanity, but you don't have to like Obama to see some big holes in the idea that he's Muslim. Say what you will about Islam, is there any brand of Islam that is pro-feminist, pro-abortion, pro-homosexual-"marriage"? Those are the positions of secular humanists, and leftist mainline protestantism. I put Obama in one of those two camps.

WASHINGTON D.C., August 24, 2015 (LifeSiteNews) – The Obama administration has announced last week that it will award federal benefits to several homosexuals who were “married” - although the states in which they lived did not recognize the marriages at the time. Lambda Legal, which was arguing in federal court for Social Security spousal benefits for two homosexuals who had “married” illegally before the court ruling in June and since had both been widowed, announced last Thursday. Lambda Legal`s Susan Sommer said the change “could right a wrong for hundreds of same-sex spouses” married in the 11 states where same-sex...

ADDIS ABABA, (CAJ News) – UNITED States President Barack Obama’s visit has been met with contempt by the majority in the continent owing to his country’s recent endorsement of same-sex marriages. The leader of the most powerful nation in the globe will only make a low-key appearance at the African Union (AU) Headquarters in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia in a continent where such marriages are taboo. He will meet mostly Western diplomats and representatives. “How can we celebrate a man who advocates a man to marry another man? If it was the president of China, maybe, we would attend because they...

July 8, 2015 (LifeSiteNews) -- Kenyan National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi and four other legislators have warned US President Barack Obama against promoting homosexual "rights" in his visit to the country this month.“Individual rights must not violate the rights of others,” Muturi said. “Those advancing gay rights must similarly appreciate our Christian, Islamic and African traditional values which abhor homosexuality.”Pointing out that sodomy is a criminal offence in Kenya, Muturi said his government has the right to “sanction any advances perceived to encroach on our social fabric” and that he believes advocacy of same-sex "marriage" is a form of Western...

Jon Lovett, a former White House speech writer to President Barack Obama, claimed at last week's Aspen Ideas Festival that he performed a secret same-sex wedding at the White House. Lovett believes Obama had no knowledge of the secret and rushed same-sex ceremony and believes his then boss would not have approved of the event. While the recording of Lovett's talk is not yet available, Mike Allen of Politico reported Lovett's comments which took place during "The Moth Radio Hour" podcast at the Aspen Ideas Festival. Lovett claims it was the first same-sex marriage at the White House. "Steve and...

During a special presentation of the popular live storytelling podcast “The Moth Radio Hour” at this year’s Aspen Ideas festival, former Obama speechwriter Jon Lovett shared a story about how, years before gay marriage would become legal nationwide, he secretly performed a same-sex marriage at the White House. “I went into politics for the reasons most people do: ambition, self-righteousness, and a desire to help others,” Lovett said, according to a writeup in Saturday’s Playbook. If you’ve spent any time in Washington, you know that the desire to help others is optional, and for members of Congress, it’s frowned upon.”

Conservatives are reeling after two outrageous decisions last week by the Supreme Court. In one case they reinterpreted Obamacare so that “established by the state” magically meant “or the federal government.” In another, they redefined marriage—even though nothing in our Constitution gives the court the authority to do that. What do we do now? The Obamacare case is the simpler of the two when it comes to next steps. While the court refused to enforce the plain meaning of the text, Congress can still vote to repeal Obamacare and replace it with patient-focused, market-based healthcare reforms that will truly serve...

During the re-election cycle in 2012, President Obama sent seismic shock waves through the news media when he became the first American president to publicly support marriage equality. On June 26, 2015, the Supreme Court sided with the president’s views in a 5-4 decision, sending a ruling “like a thunderbolt” through American society in favor of marriage equality in all 50 states[1]. As the longtime advisor, David Axelrod revealed in his recent book[2] that candidate-Obama was in favor of same-sex marriage (when running for the US Senate[3]) before he was against it (while running for the Presidency[4]), and then he...

When historians look back on the collapse of the United States and seek to pinpoint the beginning of the end, they will no doubt look to the election of Barack Obama to the presidency. If they want to narrow the focus they will point to the period of his reign between 10:00 AM June 25th and 11:00 AM June 26th. Ted Cruz has charitably labeled this period as “some of the darkest 24 hours in our nation’s history”. It’s slightly more than 24 hours, but he’s spot on. In fact, he’s far too charitable, they are the simply the most...
