How the Pentagon’s top-brass generals burned the careers of subordinates but then pivoted to lucrative careers all while losing the wars they were supposed to be winning. My new book, A Few Bad Men, details the mendacity and mad dishonesty of retired Marine General James “Mad Dog” Mattis. The fact that it was written by a Marine once under his command, whom he betrayed for the sake of politics and getting to slap on another star, says volumes about this once-lionized figure. It all goes back to an incident in Afghanistan in 2007, and the Court of Inquiry trial of...

Former President Trump reveals his Republican hit list as he rails against a number of his one-time close allies who he's since fallen out with in a forthcoming book. 'I don't think a lot of the groups have done a good job,' he added, according to 'In Trump's Shadow: The Battle for 2024 and the Future of the GOP,' by political correspondent David Drucker. 'She's a psycho,' Trump said of Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., calling her 'Not the brightest person in the world.' Trump said that retiring Sen. Pat Toomey, R-Pa., was 'driven out of office because of his stupid,...

Former Defense Secretary Jim Mattis, during a panel discussion, said he believed that the country’s education system needed to reemphasize certain principles, including teaching “the good, the bad, the ugly.” During his live-streamed talk with the Office of Strategic Services Society on Thursday, Mattis said he believed that education in the U.S. should not gloss over uncomfortable topics, such as the effects of slavery, which still reverberate in contemporary society. “As I look at the way American history is taught in our public schools, in many of our universities, I’m not sure how much affection I would be building in...

Former US Defense Secretary Jim Mattis has suggested that President Trump should face exile in response to some of his supporters storming the Capitol building yesterday. Trump sought to de-escalate the situation by telling protesters to go home during the chaos, but Twitter subsequently deleted his tweets and locked him out of his account. While many are now pushing for Trump to be removed as President under the 25th amendment, Mattis suggested he should be stripped of his citizenship entirely.

In an online column denouncing President Trump's "America First" policy that includes measures regarding Beijing, ex-Defense Secretary James Mattis did not disclose his affiliation with an organization that fosters international business deals with communist China. As coauthor with three other writers in a Nov. 23 Foreign Affairs column, Mattis did not mention that he works for the The Cohen Group consulting firm. Nor did he challenge China's tough talk against U.S. policies regarding Taiwan, nor the strict economic retaliation Beijing levied against Australia. Instead, Mattis criticized Trump administration policies toward Beijing. Such policies, touted by Secretary of State Mike Pompeo,...

Former Defense Secretary Jim Mattis said in an op-ed on Monday that he hopes President-elect Joe Biden will take “America First” out of the national security strategy for his incoming administration. Mattis penned the op-ed, titled “Defense in Depth,” for Foreign Affairs with Kori Schake, director of foreign and defense policy studies at the American Enterprise Institute, Jim Ellis, a fellow at the Hoover Institution and former commander of U.S. Strategic Command, and Joe Felter, a fellow at the Hoover Institution. “In January, when President Joe Biden and his national security team begin to reevaluate U.S. foreign policy, we hope...

I raise my voice as former Marine with 2 RVN tours. This gigantic lowlife, totally anti-American election fraud troubles me to the roots of my being. Can the bad guys (whole lineup) be any more obvious, I ask you? I didn't put my a** on the line (volunteered on both occasions) for the better part of 2 years of my young life, to "protect and defend" a society of reeking corrupt liars and cheats such as we are seeing on full-dress parade now. Personally, the "unkindest cut" may be the treachery (and yes, that is the word, just check the...

President Trump on Tuesday confirmed a plan was in the works to take out Syrian President Bashar Assad in 2017 and that he was supportive of it, but that former Defense Secretary James Mattis was opposed. The president's disclosure that an assassination operation was discussed came as part of a lengthy diatribe against Mattis, but it confirmed a piece of reporting from 2018 that Trump disputed at the time. “I would've rather taken him out. I had him all set. Mattis didn’t want to do it. Mattis was a highly overrated general," Trump said on "Fox & Friends."

[Note: This piece is heavy on video content.] This sure sounds like the plotting of a coup d’etat to me. – Another tidbit from Woodward’s book raises the spectre of General James Mattis, then the Secretary of Defense, and Dan Coats, then the Director of National Intelligence, actively contemplating the military overthrow of the federal government. Not kidding. That sure sounds like a Coup plot to me – how does it sound to you?

Former Defense Secretary James Mattis told then-Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats that President Trump was “dangerous” and “unfit,” according to excerpts from Bob Woodward’s upcoming book “Rage.” Mattis, who left the White House at the end of 2018 over differences on defense strategy with the president, warned Coats that “there may come a time when we have to take collective action” against Trump, according to excerpts of the Woodward book reported upon by The Washington Post, The Post did not say if Woodward’s book clarified what kind of “collective action” Mattis was referencing.......

First of all, let me say that this nation is in debt to former Marine Generals Mattis and Kelly for their service to the United States. Kelly in particular deserves our respect and appreciation. His own son gave his life as a Marine in service to America. But I have to disagree with their recent public comments in opposition to President Trump. Not that President Trump can’t be exasperating at times. He has a tendency to irritate his supporters as often as he infuriates his enemies. Not one of his most endearing qualities for sure, nor a wise political strategy....

Ret. Marine General James Mattis, who served as Trump’s Defense Secretary, resigned over a year ago, but has apparently been nursing a grudge since then. Last week, he took to the pages of the left-wing Atlantic magazine to air that grievance. Mattis revealed a small mind. His facts were wrong, and his arguments foolish and simplistic. The Democrat media, of course, celebrated the article despite its fundamental flaws. Retired Marine Captain John M. Dowd, however, decided that he wasn’t going to sit there and take that nonsense, so he struck back. What he wrote is red meat for conservatives and...

Hearing what Gen “Mad Dog” Mattis had to say today, I am reminded of something I learned about Trump’s pick for Sec Def during the transition, as the President-elect was about to take the oath of office. Several sources inside the transition team confirmed... They were shocked by who Mattis wanted as his number 2 - he was pushing for Michelle Flournoy, the same person HRC had reportedly picked to lead DOD in her Administration, acc to sources/articles at the time, such as one Politico published in Nov 2016. They put it this way: “THE NEXT ADMINISTRATION - HILLARY CLINTON’S...

Mattis's Trump broadside underscores military tensions BY MORGAN CHALFANT AND REBECCA KHEEL - 06/04/20 06:49 PM EDT Former Defense Secretary James Mattis’s stunning public criticism of President Trump is underscoring growing fears in the military that the president is compromising the integrity of the U.S. Armed Forces by threatening to use them against protesters. Trump has urged governors to deploy National Guard troops to “dominate the streets” and stop violent demonstrations, saying he would dispatch U.S. military forces to states and cities that do not meet his demands. On Monday, streets near the White House were forcibly cleared of peaceful...
