YES!!!!!
It is one of many reasons I am no longer Catholic.
On another thread a poster reported that their local Catholic schools are advertising. One of the points in the ad was that the Catholic schools would make their child a citizen of the world.

I remember, about 10 years ago, a co-worker gave me a book to read about this very subject. Supposedly a nurse had found a journal, written by a dying priest, in which he chronicled how he was a communist and part of the conspiracy to infiltrate the Catholic Church. It was scary then, and it’s scary now.
THATS the book! (See my post 345) I remember that it was a chilling read.
I'm sure communists were not the only ones trying to bring down the church - but add in the modernism, homosexuality, and the changing cultural climate, and it has made the church more vulnerable. However, as somebody else posted, the groups who want to see the church fall are "prematurely blowing taps". Pope Benedict is turning this ship around!

Oh, come on! A better question is, "What entity in opposition to Communism have they they not infiltrated?"
I'd say they Catholic Church has done a better job of repelling Communist infiltration than the Federal Government.

Th answer is that communists did infiltrate the Catholic Church - I have been aware of this for some time now. The Novus Ordo liturgy reflects shades of this - waiting in the “bread line” for communion, a serious weakening of the idea of hierarchy as in the priests are “the same” as the people. Very disturbing.
Read Aa-1025 Memoirs of a Communists Priests Infiltration in to the Catholic Church. This is not fiction. Request it from the library. There’s lots more to be said on this, but it is real and is somewhat working as the Catholic Churches close, the Catholic schools close, the liberal bishops teach socialism, and homosexuals invade the priesthood. This plan for this large scale breakdown was not an accident! and parallels the secular political world breadkdown into socialism.
Old but good post. Was it predicted should we have known? 2nd Thessalonians (and many other scriptures from the bible), St. Nilus, Our Lady of Good Success, Fatima... Maybe we should have gotten the message way before it happen, but that is the story of Mankind, we continue to place ourselves above God and close our eyes and ears in arrogance.
Pray for us and do what you have been called to do. God has a reason for everything, We just don’t or choose not to understand much of the time.
