Elcid, we know that in Matthew 12:43 reads:
“When an evil spirit comes out of a person, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it.”
Also in another place, Paul speaks of demons returning to the same human after having been cast out… he makes the point it would have been better for that human never to have those demons cast out in the first place… Because they come back seven times as strong.
Evil spirits/demons/fallen angels have been here since the world began… And they will be on earth right up until the last day… I think it’s safe to assume that if a human dies that had been possessed by an evil spirit/demon/fallen angel when that human dies the angel simply goes looking for another target… Someone who does not know Jesus Christ… Someone who is open and ready to accept that kind of evil power.
Believers in Jesus Christ cannot be “possessed” by evil spirits… We Can be and are, every day, subject to Constant oppression by them… It’s called spiritual warfare… We are called not to be ignorant of the devil’s devices… To be aware.
But I thank God through Jesus Christ the victory is ours!!
Demonology is a fascinating theological study… But know this, demons don’t waste their time on “Christians” who are not a threat to their kingdom… They concentrate on believers who are in active warfare against them..... Born again believers we’re doing battle for souls
Whether that is good news or bad news depends on how a ‘last days Christian” views salvation.

I have felt much like Salamander, at the bottom.
I’ve been crying out to God for strength along with Trust and hope.
Satan is causing many believers right now to be fearful. I am sure it is due to us not staying in God’s Word.
I’ve been asking our Heavenly Father to infuse me with His Power and Trust.

What bothers me the most is that so very many are unable to discern and not recognize the Evil which is all around us. It’s as if they are under some kind of spell, which they are.
FWIW, every time I open my mouth about this stuff, my life gets worse.
I worry I’m oppressed.
Can’t imagine me being a “threat” to the devil.

I see it every day.
In many people, some of whom I consider bright and aware, normally.
Sometimes I feel I like standing in the grocery store and screaming WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOUR BRAINS?!? but I don’t.
They’re sleepers.
They’re the walking dead.
They’re the placid and oblivious sheep.
I often feel like I’m awake in some madman’s fever dream.
This can’t be happening.
But it is.
And it’s extremely hard to deal with.

I did a ceremony at home one night recommended by a friend. As I began, a heavy object fell off the windowsill and broke the glass top of my favorite table into a million pieces.
