People are leaving, guys.

Lifelong Catholics.

Leaving.

Going Christian Orthodox some of them.

Goodbye, now.

Perfect picture of where the church hierarchy is these days.

"Holleran claimed that “gay” men are more receptive to spirituality because they practice anal sex"

A perverted mind perverts everything.

Maybe this genius can enlighten Jesus, the Almighty Son of God, when he stands before Him on Judgment Day. The Bible says that God is the same, yesterday, today and forever, and He declares homosexuality a vile sin in Romans 1:26,27.

Former RC here - all you have to do is open the Holy Word of God to see the many inconsistencies in what they preach versus what The Lord preaches.

They are leaving in droves too - many many friends of mine are FORMER RCC members who are now attending regular Bible Studies/small groups/Bible-believing Churches.

See what can happen when the empty mind of the Eastern religions is adopted? It can get filled with fantasy from evil spirits.

Homosexual orientations are objective disorders. God does not gift disorder, but may allow it.

The disorder is an enormous challenge, which is imposed on frail human beings without their consent most often. The challenge is not to engage in disordered àcts so that it is not “fixed” in ones’ being.

Pray for these tortured souls.

“God does not despise anything that God has created.”

So we Christians based on this interpretation and the above article’s viewpoint is that we should be accepting, enmbrace and love pedophiles as well.

Pedophiles, LGBT people have infiltrated the Christian churches to peddle their interpretation of God’s words.

I don’t understand it just as I don’t understand most evil in the world. I haven’t understood the Catholic Church for decades and with the rate members are leaving, there is lots of not understanding them. In no way do I understand the false pope.

Years ago I heard the definition of a zealot as someone who does what God would do if God had all the facts.

Jesus didn’t understand homosexuality? And I’m sure someone could explain it to him, or just do what Jesus would do if were Jesus more informed on the matter.

Right.

Jesus had all of this other gnarly stuff going on...like saving the human race from Evil...but he couldn’t understand that particular sexual perversion.

Right.

Here’s all anyone needs to understand

The enemy will attack with intent to destroy anything that is good

There are good and intelligent priests out there. When we ask to find them we will be led to them

The Church was founded by Jesus. He said he would protect it

The Church is run by humans. Imperfect and tempt-able.

These people have not in any way destroyed the Church. The Church is an institution which cannot be changed by people and which does not depend in numbers of members nor any other type of democratic or mob thinking.

The Church will stand no matter if everyone has a foot stompy tantrum demanding that it change, no matter how many of its members pretend they are no longer Catholic

Once someone is baptised Catholic they are judged as Catholic. That means on judgement day

Priests are judged more harshly, we are taught, as they have more power to bring people to Jesus or drive them away

There is, obviously no one who understand homosexuality better than the members of the Holy Trinity.

It seems pretty obvious to me that God had a pretty good understanding of homosexuality back when he took care of the problem in Sodom and Gomorrah. Perhaps we need the same solution again.

Anyone, priest or Pope who deigns to believe that they know more on any subject than God is an idiot.

Hmmm... what sort of smoke is this?

As far as characters in our story go, reality is easily as strange as or stranger than fiction these days.

Speaking of, as I was reading about him and his church, I couldn’t stop thinking about Father Gil in the Sin City episode of Supernatural.

Tell you what, I’d stay out of his basement if he has one. Just sayin’...

Love it!

I think we tend to forget that the reason homosexuality is so safely enshrouded in compassion and some ridiculous form of social justice is that we’ve all swallowed whole the 60s’ idea of the right to free and guiltless sex. Before that, chastity applied to both sexes regardless of orientation. Heteros and homos were held to precisely the same (Catholic) standard; and the standard, rigorous though it was, was pretty simple: no sex outside marriage and marriage solely between man and woman. Interesting, though, is that homosexuals seem to be given a pass by “the Church” not simultaneously granted to heterosexual bachelors or spinsters. Which is just one reason that the actual Catholic Church cannot and will never recognize homosexuals as a protected species.

And the Roman church continues to let known homosexuals be priests and administer sacraments all the while claiming they condemn homosexuality.

What hypocrisy!
