My wife will lose her foot to amputation tomorrow or Wednesday. She's had a diabetic ulcer for a week or two so we called an ambulance Saturday. They don't think they can save it. She's in the same hospital as her father, so her mother is able to visit. I'm so shook up I can't eat and just lie in bed.
Gosh - the hits keep coming - my heart goes out to you and yours and my prayers are up that He put his hand on your situation and gives you comfort and love.
Lord; You know the true condition of the foot.
And You have the power to make it whole again.
It was recorded long ago these words:
Luke 5:12-13
While Jesus was in one of the towns, a man came along who was covered with leprosy.
When he saw Jesus, he fell facedown and begged Him, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.”
Jesus reached out His hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” He said, “be clean!”
And immediately the leprosy left him.
Lord; I am praying; like the leper; for healing of the foot; if it be thy will.
Let it be YOUR will that it will happen and bring praise in to YOUR name!

Just read this post and I’m praying for your wife and for your family.
We have a very dear friend who is also diabetic and he lost his leg to below the knee last year.
He refused to get down and got a prothesis, and is walking almost normally and drives again.
God will supply all your needs...Look to Him!

Only You know how to bring powerful comfort and healing to this family.
We ask Your special attention on 2DV, his wife and her father.
First, may they be assured of their salvation through repentance and faith.
And then, let them trust in You for every need, no matter how long it may take.
This is a fallen world, where many ills can beset even the strongest person.
But You are the Great Healer.

You briefed us that you were in depression yesterday and had withdrawn.
You are going through this with your wife today. Please take our encouragement to find strength to utilize on her behalf. We are sending prayerful encouragement so that you will feel strengthened for her. We know you don’t feel you have it by yourself, so accept it from the Lord.
