Should We Still Keep The Commandments?
If you are skeptical because of past experiences with religion, understand that religion is not the answera relationship with Christ is. There is a clear difference.
Religion says, I have to follow rules. A relationship with Christ says, I want to follow His plan for my life.
Religion says, I have to go to church. A relationship with Christ says, I want to position myself to learn more, worship Him and benefit from fellowship.
Religion offers a set of rituals; a relationship with Jesus offers a guiding light.
Religion is mans attempt to find God; relationship assures us of His presence.
Many lose sight of purpose because they have religion and not a true relationship with Christ. They may know Scripture but they often do not apply it to their lives. As a result, their relationship with God is cold and distant.
A fatal statement, yet so common is, I know what Gods Word says, but
For example: I know that I shouldnt watch certain movies or television programs, but I enjoy then. I know that I shouldnt date her, but shes very attractive. I know that I shouldnt go there, but everyone is doing it. I know what the Bible says, but it doesnt apply now. I know that I need to go to church, pray, and read Gods Word, but Im too busy.

Sorry to hear that. if you could tell me what post it was perhaps I will modify my position. I do get enthusiastic I admit.

Mosaic law is Yehova’s law, AKA Torah.
You must be thinking of the Pharisee’s false law, which they have the audacity to call “Moses’ law,” with which they burdened the people, but which Yeshua denounced and took to the cross.

>> “You dont sound Roman Catholic” <<
That’s good, cuz I’m not.

.
“Hebrew Roots” is simply reality. It is Yeshua’s narrow path. The feasts impart a solid understanding of Yehova’s plan, so that we will know when the day of Trumpets arrives. (if you are “watching,” you cannot miss it)
Judaism and christianity are man made bondage. Neither is anywhere to be found in scripture. The Acts of the Apostles is the ancient Hebrew Faith, laid out like a script.

I fear for you.
As soon as I solve THIS...
I don’t know why folks call Saturday & Sunday the weekend.
It’s clear from the calendar that Saturday is the weekend; & Sunday is the week START!
If that is the case I did not do it intentionally. I suppose I call it Moses law because that is how it is referred to in the Bible. It was spoken by Moses. (Lev. 1:1,2) It was written by Moses.(Deut. 31:9) It was called the law of Moses. (Mal 4:4) It pointed to the sacrifice of Christ. (Col. 2:14-17) Therefore it was an expiring law. It's purpose was finished.
Just know that reasoning with a Rudian is, well, nearly impossible. But he’s a good guy, just following the wrong ‘prophet’, stumbling back under the law rather than living in Grace.
I’m not sure what a Rudian is. I take it most people on here are good guys/gals. Grace doesn’t make void Gods Law but it does allow us to keep it.
You are aware that Yah'shua was,

You are also aware that Yah'shua will
reign from the throne of King David
in Jerusalem for a 1000 years when he returns.

The Law of First Mention Is it all those called out by YHvH ? or What was the purpose of the Ekklesia ? Was it a temporal corporation to rule on earth ? No ! Was it to have a temporal head ? No ! It was a gathering of YHvH's chosen people to hear His Word ? and learn to Fear YHvH all their days ? And to teach their children the same ? Yes. ------------- Ekklesia is from the Hebrew Qahal (kof, hey, lamed) How does YHvH define "church" i.e.Ekklesia ?
shalom b'SHEM Yah'shua HaMashiach
A study of the word "church", in the Koine Greek : Ekklesia.
Was the "church" started at the YHvH commanded
Feast day of Shavuot (pentecost) as some say ?
Did the "church" exist earlier ?
Using the LXX as a guide we see that the Ekklesia
is first used in Deuteronomy 4:10 NAsbU Deuteronomy 4:10 "Remember the day you stood before YHvH, your God
Also see : Deu 4:10, Deu 9:10, Deu 18:16, Deu 23:3, Deu 23:4, Deu 23:9, Deu 31:30,

them hear My words so they may learn to fear Me all the days they live on
the earth, and that they may teach their children.'

which is haQahal The assembly (hey, kop, hey, lamed)
hey => grace, breath of G-d
lamed => teaching and learning)
In scripture it is always used to describe
those who have been assembled by YHvH.
It begins in Exodus 16:3 ( the bread from heaven )
and continues to Nehemiah 8:17 (living in Booths) NAsbU Nehemiah 8:17
The entire assembly of those who had returned from
the captivity made booths and lived in them.
The sons of Israel had indeed not done so
from the days of Joshua(Yehoshua)
the son of Nun to that day.
And there was great rejoicing.
Its clear from the calendar that Saturday is the weekend; & Sunday is the week START!
Thus creating Sunday as the seventh day. I remember when I was in Europe years ago.
shalom b'SHEM Yah'shua HaMashiach
One of the countries I was in their calendar
began on Monday.
It seemed to be a subtle cultural reminder
of the Roman church's authority over the empire.
Amen!
I find those who reject the commandments, in many cases, are some serious rebels who go to extremes to make the scriptures conform to their own desires. No vine exits without roots. The OT, and it's first five books, the Torah, are rich in knowledge of the Creator and His plan for Mankind.
Great caliber btw, it's my fav...;
The newest Bible versions will list The Ten Optionals (it sounds less harsh than commandments) or the Nine Commandments (Your choice!). (jk) We must be in the last days is all I can say.
You had me there for a moment, until I saw your (jk), lol.
We must be in the last days is all I can say.
Agree, it's the apostasy, the falling away, one of the last prerequisites before the end of this age, IMO.

Grace is being allowed forgiveness for past excursions from Torah through confession and repentance.
As Paul clearly said, if we do this more than once, we attempt to hang Yeshua back on the cross.
If our first confession and repentance was sincere, Yehova wrote Torah on our hearts, eliminating our desire to depart from his commandments.
