until Nov. 30.
The reason were leaving it up, though, is symbols are what you make of them, she said.
And if we decide to look at these and be embarrassed and consider them hateful and angry and we decide to cover them up, then we give the power to the idea that hate is more powerful than love, and thats not the case.
Sorry for what ever reason all that story did not come up here it is.....
A church in Indiana is the latest victim of a rash of violence against supporters of President-Elect Donald Trump. The church was tagged with a hate message in graffiti saying Heil Trump.
But the pastor of the church says that church officials will not remove the hate message for a period of time so it can stand as a symbol of hope in the community by letting residents know that hateful views will not prevail.
Heres more:
The pastor of an Indiana church that was vandalized earlier this month with the words Heil Trump said Thursday at first she was disheartened to see the graffiti on the church.
Rev. Kelsey Hutto, of St. Davids Episcopal Church, said the church is a pillar in the community.
And we were very saddened to see it, she said Thursday on CNN. But at second thought, I was excited in some ways, which sounds weird, I know, because we were targeted for the right reason.
Hutto then quoted the churchs presiding bishop-elect, who said doing the right thing is not always the popular thing.
And if thats why we were targeted, were OK with that, she said.
The church was vandalized earlier this month with a swastika, a gay slur and the words Heil Trump.
Keep up with the latest pro-life news and information on Twitter.
Hutto said the church plans to leave the graffiti up until Nov. 30.

Is......what?
whatis the bettiong this is a homsoexual or anopther liberal who has done this.
There was another church on a college campus which had virtually the same, only to find out it was a couple of Jewish liberals who admitted they did it to try and make Trump voters look bad.
“The reason were leaving it up, though, is...” because you painted it there to gain attention and sympathy. Of course you’re leaving it up.
They do know this isn’t Trumpers do this....
The meme of Trump (or anyone else) as der Fuhrer is overused.
It implies laziness, and that the recipient should just shut up.
Fighting a perception of intolerance with new intolerance.
Nice.

Why would they leave up a leftist hate message??
course the did it to themselves, won’t be the first time these clowns have done this.
The big question is who did this?
It seems more likely that some Dem Trump-hater did this, trying to hurt Trump.
Episcopal, naturally.
Maybe we should start a reward fund for anybody who can provide evidence leading to the arrest and conviction of the Trump supporter who did this. It was probably the same people who have a $100,000 reward on their heads for spitting on Congressman John Lewis and calling him the “n” word when 0bamacare was passed.
So she painted it...marketing ploy.
This has hoax written all over it.
This was almost certainly done by a anti-Trump libtard. Wouldn’t surprise me if it was done by someone who attends this church and its being left there as “evidence” that Trump promotes “hate”. Meanwhile the anti-Trump nuts are rioting and attacking people.
Yes. And the prelate is too confused to realize that she is making a fool out of herself, while drawing the wrong sort of attention to her Church. Leaving that graffiti up does not honor God, Faith, Trump or those running the Church.
Are they leaving it to show what scum anti-Trump vandals are? I notice a lot of Freepers are anxious to attack the church instead of the vandals.
