Smells like BS to me!
I am against Partial Birth Abortion for reasons of birth control or general inconvenience. I support women’s choice to consider this procedure when her health is clearly in jeoprody. We have to be careful saying it is never, ever justified. Imagine being in her body feeling all that unrelenting pain, and told you must simply accept your lot. I cannot.
I’ve heard about that church.
I’ve heard about that church.
Like they really killed the baby without any pain.
Whatta load this is!
Butler said she was heartbroken, but she did not think twice. She decided to abort her unborn daughter.

So no prayer was involved? She didn’t even pause a little while to as Jesus what to do? The good news is she is going to get to see her daughter in heaven, although she may be looking up across an abyss that can’t be crossed.
**The Rev. Dr. Amy Butler**
I see a couple problems right there.
By the way, her “church” is and has been, a cesspool of hyperliberal theology for decades.
Paul says in Timothy women shouldn’t have authority over men in the church. Pastor Amy doesn’t listen to scripture on that topic. Makes sense she thinks a partial birth abortion (instead of inducing labor or a c-section) is a-ok.
FYI, I don’t know why men attend these type of churches.
So why didn't she choose to deliver the baby early? She could have held her and loved her until the natural death that she implies would have occurred.
The result would have been the same, except the baby wouldn't have had scissors plunged into her skull in the process.
Doesn't she think that might have been painful???
Love,

Does this condition have a name? If the doctors told her that early delivery was an option, I would think that would have been the obvious choice in a problematic situation. Unless, of course, the condition was something like Downs Syndrome (among many possibilities) that compromised her dream of a perfect child.
We need an intelligent and civilized response to “unwanted” pregnancy.
Murdering the baby is neither intelligent nor civilized.
Pain relief, eh?
Which of us has had a child who went their entire lives without experiencing pain?
Bravo Sierra

Words fail me
However, I am mighty skeptical of this story's factual basis.
Total BS that is why they do C Sections. Women even schedule them for their convince especially stars, singers, entertainers etc. I’ve had 2, g-grandson was a C Section. 2 grands are preemies weighing 2-3 lbs, one just started college the other just turned 17 and has her first PT job both healthy.
Wtf do they think “partial birth abortion” means?
she chose abortion for her daughter, media writes it like she chose a college for her daughter.
sick bastards all. because its women we are told not to be horrified. women get the pass for murder, they have it so hard. it will somehow be blamed on guys.
So her choice was an early delivery and put it in God’s hands or kill it. And the “reverend” chose to kill it. I wouldn’t stand too close to her in a thunderstorm. I wonder how her congregation feels about that? No, I don’t. :(
My father was born in 193*, premature. My grandmother had a tumor and she carried him until the tumor was bigger than him and threatened his life. He was so small he was diapered with a hankie, a man’s hankie. By all accounts he should not have made it. He is now in his 80’s and I’m so glad they were Christian and trusted in God. BTW no hospital stay for him. Four sisters prior to his birth died at or shortly after birth. The first child, a sister still lives in her 90’s. My father was the last. He is the most wonderful, loving, caring man in this world, a gift to our family. I don’t fault this woman if she is honest but like my grandmother and grandfather and Sarah PALIN blessed are those who place their trust in God. Doctors make mistakes. My sister friend was told her child would be deformed and retarded. After much agony they decided to have the child who was born with no problems and is also wonderful little girl.
