>> “And they were saved the same way as the OT Saints who did not yet see Jesus.” <<

But the Churchians will dispute that fact to the death. It demolishes all of their special theologies.

2) Paul learned the truth of Christ’s Resurrection without the New Testament. He learned it when Jesus spoke to him on the road to Damascus. No Bible was necessary for Paul to learn the truth. Only Christ was necessary.

He did have the OT which he drew upon.

“The NT was penned by people who were witnesses or inspired by God.”

People. Witnesses. Inspired [people}.

They knew what they knew about Jesus from something other than scripture. And the NT was not yet written when they found out.

You’re just proving my point for me. Thanks.

You left out the Holy Spirit's role in this.

“The Hebrew Matthew is the only NT book we know for sure is real.”

There is no original Hebrew Matthew known. None.

“It is the most important of all the messianic writings.”

“Laughable.”

And yet you can’t refute what I said? I don’t even claim to know much about the text in question yet you can’t even make a serious argument for it?

“He was not ever called Jesus or Christ until the 4th century.”

I guess you’ve never read John 19:19-20?

“He was known by his given name by his followers.”

Again, John 19:19-20.

It always amazes how you guys repeatedly demonstrate how little you apparently know or think.

No, I didn’t: “Inspired [people}.”

Who do you think did that inspiring?

The NT is in the OT:

Luk_24:44 Then He said, “When I was with you before, I told you that everything written about Me in the law of Moses and the prophets and in the Psalms must be fulfilled.”

I see that the choir has assembled and are arguing yet again on how to sing the song we’ve been given.

Does it say SATB at the top?

There is no original of any book of the Bible.

There are many copies of the original gospel of Matthew, which was written in the Hebrew language, as obviously all of the NT writings had to have been.

Matthew is the only NT book that is available to us in the original form. All others are somewhat corrupted by translation into Greek, which is a language that does not perfectly interface with Yehova’s language.
.

The oracles of Yehova were committed to Judah, as Paul stated in his letter to the Romans.

**They knew what they knew about Jesus from something other than scripture. And the NT was not yet written when they found out.**

And that is not available to us today. That is why we have the inspired word.

“here are many copies of the original gospel of Matthew, which was written in the Hebrew language...”

No, actually there are none. None has ever been found. There is not a single known ancient copy of Matthew in Hebrew. None.

The Holy Spirit and the Church are still available.

At least one MS copy of the original Hebrew Matthew is known to exist at the Vatican.

Many others are found in Europe, and two are at the Hebrew University.

Stomp your little feet, plug your ears, and go LA, LA, LA, LA, LA, all you wish.
