I posted a cartoon of mad Mo with diarrhea projecting from his backside and arcing into his mouth on FB. It was reported and after a day of “investigating” FB sent me a notice that it would not be removed as it did not violate their policy.

I just hide posts like that. Thankfully, my friends/relatives are conservative Christians so I do not see junk like that. I do get suggested sites but I just hide those, too, if I am not interested. One thing I do not like about FB is the fact that I get friend requests from people all over the world and that includes members of the rop. I just delete those. When I get a friend request from someone I do not know, I go to their page to see what interests we have in common or what friends we have in common. I ignore them. Most are Trump supporters, though. FB is what the user makes it.

About seven years ago we hired a contractor who thought that e-mail was passé and pushed Facebook. I told him that Facebook is a huge problem, and that I had to block it at the router due to abuses from our inside sales crew. He thought I was ridiculous, and being a bit of a fogey.

Five years later, I received an e-mail he sent to his whole list, that he was leaving Facebook. It was when they introduced Timeline that he finally figured out what this was all about. I just went to his wedding a couple of months ago. He finally grew up.
