My guess is probably 1 in 50 pastors speak out about homosexuality anyhow.
People should just abandon Marco Rubio, before he abandons the rule of law (again)

The Church DOES love “gay” people! She counsels them to REPENT!!!!
She tells the rest of us to REPENT, too!!!!
Repentance is the first step toward salvation!!!!
Sen. Rubio should leave these issues to Priests and pastors, and concentrate on running for office. Wouldn’t it be nice if he wins another term in the Senate as a Republican who supports President Trump? Wouldn’t it be even nicer if he racks up a record of accomplishment in the US Senate?
The Old Testament calls us to judge right and wrong, and so does the New Testament, though with more forgiveness for those who have stopped sinning.
Biblical forgiveness does not say never call wrongdoing out, nor does it say you have to tolerate one who continues to sin / harm others/ harm themselves.
The “thou shalt not judge” verse is horribly misrepresented in purpose, intentionally leaving out the next portion of “lest ye be judged”, a call not to be hypocritical. And the story clearly says you can only forgive when they repent and stop doing it. You can and are called to call out the murderer, the thief, the liar who don’t stop and keep doing it with impunity.
And Biblical forgiveness doesn’t exempt someone from punishment, but instead requires they make recompense - which for some, is jail or a death penalty.
So Marco thinks we should dump the Holy Bible? That friggin’ freaky.
That is my experience. Not a peep from my former pastor, (just retired) ever. Had plenty to say about “vitriol” though.

How does Rubio know pastors don’t already love gay people? He doesn’t know what is in their hearts. Who is Rubio to judge these pastors?
Senator Rubio, I have a question for you. Do you believe in a God that judges people including gay people? Next, do you think it is OK for people to judge other people? Should we get rid of judges if judging others is so bad?

Telling a Christian to love someone is like telling a Muslim to hate non Muslims. IOW, it isn’t necessary.........
