It’s uncommon at Jesuit universities these days for someone to openly share a traditional Catholic viewpoint.
When it happened at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, the school was so spooked it called the Los Angeles Police Department.
Both the police and the university’s Bias Incident Response Team are investigating the stated belief that only two genders exist, male and female, as a hate crime.
A Loyola alumni office employee discussed her views on sexual orientation, which align with the Roman Catholic Church, with three students who were hanging up posters on the subject on April 14.
Cosette Carleo, one of the students involved, told The College Fix in a phone interview that the hate crime under investigation is “denying transgenderism.”
Carleo’s account agrees in part with an email by the husband of the employee with whom she tangled.
The employee told Carleo, who identifies as gender-neutral, that only two genders exist, male and female, according to the student. Carleo told The Fix that statement was the hate crime.
Carleo responded that “you can have your opinion” as long as it doesn’t “deny my existence.”
Promoting ‘PanSexual’ lifestyle
Outside reports of what happened differ. The Bias Incident Response Team said in a statement obtained by The Los Angeles Loyolan that the team, the campus Public Safety office and LAPD were “looking into the events of April 14 as reported by the three students.”
Carleo told The Loyolan that she and two other students noticed that Rainbow Week posters “had been removed and placed behind a garbage can.”
As they were reposting the signs, the employee “allegedly approached the students about LGBTQ+ issues and voiced her opinions on differing sexualities, expressing that anti-LGBTQ+ signs should be put up in place.........

Many in society are sick...mentally ill. They pressure others into saying that they are “normal”...but they are sick. They will never be normal. First of all, if one thinks about it logically, there is no mechanism by which a woman can be trapped inside of a man’s body. If it’s not physical, it can only be mental. And because the left believes gender does not matter and perhaps does not exist, the insistence that one is really a woman is completely subjective.
However, even if a woman is somehow mentally trapped inside of the male body, we are describing a person who obviously is in severe mental distress. This is not a condition which presidents and presidential candidates should be proclaiming in speeches as something worthy of civil rights protection. We are discussing a mental illness which needs to be treated but certainly cannot be the basis for a political movement.

Callings the sexes “genders” is a part of losing the issue. Genders can be anything including neuter.
Jesuits are part of the problem here.

In my opinion, the fuss over “gender” is silly. I’m wearing a skirt right now. If I went upstairs and put on jeans, would I be a different “gender” when I came down? What about if I put on my Scout leader uniform ... would that change my “gender” yet again? How about a teenaged girl’s fleece pajama pants, a teenaged boy’s Ironman t-shirt, and flip-flops?
I have a very short haircut. What’s my “gender”? Would it change if I put on a wig? (My actress daughter has several.) What if the wig were blue ... would that be yet another “gender”?
Too bad it’s not a joke or blunder. They mean to confuse the issue and there’s no pushback. People are too poorly educated or don’t care.
