My daughter Kelly has been in the hospital all week fighting a blood infection. She was moved to ICU today and put on a ventilator because of severe pneumonia. She is not doing very well and I would appreciate the prayers of our prayer warriors here on Free Republic.
Very encouraging, P-Marlowe. May God continue to bless her and your family.

Dear P... I cannot imagine... Please know that you are not alone, we are “with you”. You & your family are in my prayers. Praying especially that Kelly is able to heal quickly & completely, as God created our bodies to heal; for wisdom & skill in her doctors & medical team to stay ahead of and adequately deal with any new challenges; for you all to be able to get some much needed rest.
Thank God that He is in charge and I pray she continues to improve. Prayers that He guides her doctors to do all the right things for her.

So very thankful for your updates and this one is encouraging! Your sweet Kelly is in my daily prayers, as are you and your family. My the Lord continue to guide her doctors and surround her with Angels to heal her body and soul.

Update:
Today the doctor came in and spoke with us. He has been very pessimistic and was not at all optimistic about the situation to date. However today he came in tho share some good news. Her kidneys appear to be functioning again and her lungs look a little bit better. The best news however is that her liver functions have been improving. We thanked him for whatever he was doing to get her liver restored and he said he hasn’t done anything for the liver. He said they can work on the lungs and tweek the kidneys but there is nothing he can do to get the liver to heal itself. He said that one is out of his hands.
We are encouraged with this news. We trust that any improvement in the liver is clearly a work of God.
We pray that the functions will continue to improve. We are taking this day by day and hour by hour.
We thank all of you who have been praying for Kelly. I hope to someday show her this thread.
