My daughter Kelly has been in the hospital all week fighting a blood infection. She was moved to ICU today and put on a ventilator because of severe pneumonia. She is not doing very well and I would appreciate the prayers of our prayer warriors here on Free Republic.

Lord Jesus, heal this young girl, relieve her suffering and the heartache of those who love her dearly.

Update:
Today the doctor came in and spoke with us. He has been very pessimistic and was not at all optimistic about the situation to date. However today he came in tho share some good news. Her kidneys appear to be functioning again and her lungs look a little bit better. The best news however is that her liver functions have been improving. We thanked him for whatever he was doing to get her liver restored and he said he hasn’t done anything for the liver. He said they can work on the lungs and tweek the kidneys but there is nothing he can do to get the liver to heal itself. He said that one is out of his hands.
We are encouraged with this news. We trust that any improvement in the liver is clearly a work of God.
We pray that the functions will continue to improve. We are taking this day by day and hour by hour.
We thank all of you who have been praying for Kelly. I hope to someday show her this thread.

We give thanks to You, the GREAT PHYSICIAN, for good news regarding Kelley. We praise You for her kidneys that are now functioning and the improvement in her lungs and liver.
May the HOLY SPIRIT breathe new life into Kelly’s liver, lungs, and bladder and cleanse every cell.
All things are possible for You, O GOD. Thank You for Your only Son, JESUS CHRIST, Who gives the victory!
