Just heard on WOR AM today that Mr. Obama wished Christians today a good Lenten season and to not forget the attacks on Christians in the Middle East. Kid you not.
What took you so long Mr. Obama to realize that there are Christians who honor their faith?

Can't be "bothered"? Is "Military Commander" part of the job description of being Bishop of Rome? Thant's what you want? Francis with a squadron of bombers? Like he'd be so good at it?
The first Pope, as I remember it, was disarmed by Christ --- when he was in the very act of defending Christ. Dang. I mean, dang!! You can't tell what Mashiach's going to do, sometimes.

I appreciate your points. But Pope Francis could do far more to defend the faith than being a military commander. Instead, he dances on the very cusp of heresy, while he seems intent on reinventing the Catholic Church as the PCUSA.
