As many were astonied at thee; his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men: So shall he sprinkle many nations; the kings shall shut their mouths at him: for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they consider.(Isaiah 52:13-15)

Israel has been awaiting the coming of the Messiah. Over the centuries, the Hebrew prophets described him through the Spirit of the LORD. He would come through the line of Abraham,Isaac,Jacob ,Judah and David, He would be born in Bethlehem(Micah 5) , and arrive before the destruction of the second Temple (Daniel 9).

How did some people know enough to anticipate the coming of the Messiah, in the first century? For example the Wise men of the Christmas story, and the multitudes who went out “into the wilderness to prepare the way of the LORD in the days of John the Baptist?

They knew because they were familiar with the writings of the prophets, and particularly Daniel, as pertaining to timing.

The Prophecy of Daniel 9 is so accurate, it predicts the coming of the Messiah, to the very day.

Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.(Daniel 9:24-26)

Daniel received this revelation in exile, in Babylon during the captivity. He had been confessing the sins of Israel and interceding for the restoration of Israel.

An Angelic messenger gave him the interpretation,

*Seventy weeks- literally “Seventy sevens”…or 490 years…Picture a stop watch with 490 years…

* Are determined upon thy people and Holy city…Israel and Jerusalem will be given 490 years …

*Within those 490 years, The Transgression of sin must finish, sin itself must be done away with, reconciliation must be accomplished,and the Age of Righteousness must be inaugurated,all prophecy must be fulfilled, and the Holy Place reconsecrated.

*The Stop watch will start ,”From the commandment to restore and rebuild Jerusalem…”

*69 weeks of years shall pass. ($83 years) “…unto the arrival of Messiah the Prince…”

*The Messiah will then be cut off…but not for himself , but for the people…

*At that point, the Stop watch will be turned off…leaving seven years…

The command to rebuild the city is recorded in Nehemiah 2:1,5,8 and the date is given for it . Artexerxes began his reign in 464 BC, and this was the twentieth year of his resign in the month of Nisan (March/April).

And it came to pass in the month Nisan, in the twentieth year of Artaxerxes the king, that wine was before him: and I took up the wine, and gave it unto the king. Now I had not been beforetime sad in his presence… And I said unto the king, If it please the king, and if thy servant have found favour in thy sight, that thou wouldest send me unto Judah, unto the city of my fathers’ sepulchres, that I may build it. …And a letter unto Asaph the keeper of the king’s forest, that he may give me timber to make beams for the gates of the palace which appertained to the house, and for the wall of the city, and for the house that I shall enter into. And the king granted me, according to the good hand of my God upon me.(Nehemiah 2:1,5,8)

Therefore the stop watch clicked on in March/April 444BC.

We must remember that Jews reckon time by a lunar calendar and not a Solar calendar as we do in the west. A month is 360 days. 483 years x 360 days is 173,880 days. By calculating days starting from Nisan 1, we can come to an arrival date for the Messiah to present himself to Israel.*

Daniel said that from that decree in 444BC unto the arrival of Messiah the Prince would be 69 weeks of years(483 years9 or 173,880 days which would compute to March 29th 33 AD.

The Messiah presented Himself to the JEwish people in late March, 33 AD.

500 years before, the prophet Daniel predicted to the very day that the Messiah would come and “Be cut off”, but “”not for himself but for the people”.

But when the Messiah was cut off for us, the stop watch clicked off, leaving seven more years to accomplish in the people and the city those momentous things; the end of sin and iniquity, the fulfillment of prophecy, the reconciliatory sacrifice, the dawning of the Age of Righteousness, and the reconsecration of the Temple mount.

There is coming a signal from heaven which will indicate that “the age of the gentiles “is over, and the seven last years have commenced. It can’t be very long now…

The year 33 does not fit because Messiah WAS crucified on a Wednesday, the afternoon of the 14th of Abib (Nissan). He was placed in the tomb before sunset, the next day was the Sabbath of Unleavened Bread, then Friday they prepared for the weekly Sabbath, also the day that Mary bought & prepared the spices. Then she rested on the Sabbath and that evening as the Sabbath was coming to a close, the tomb was found to be empty.

So, sorry pastor, you are very much wrong in your assumptions that are not based on a true interpretation of biblical events.

Jesus’ first coming happened exactly as prophesy stated. His second coming will be the same. We won’t know the day or hour, but we will know the general time as Matthew 24 and 2 Thess 2 point out

What matters is the day the decree went forth to rebuild the city, that was Nissan 444 BC plus 69 weeks of (Lunar Years) brings us to the time of the Messiah to be “Cut off” those are facts...

Kislev to Kislev. Messiah shows up at the beginning of his ministry, not at the end.

I wish every believer was well versed in this prophecy,

The timing really is astounding and its such a powerful witness to those with eyes to see or ears to ear,

I suspect that because it requires a level of commitment to studying scripture and historical dates and secular history that only a committed true believer already would ever take the time to look, (this is I believe related to the ‘sign of Jonas’ Jesus spoke of, if they would only bother to look for it)

And for those who try to late date the Book of Daniel because its so accurate concerning the centuries of history that followed his time. The coming of Messiah exactly on the schedule that Gabriel said he would arrive was in black and white and a matter of secular history in the Septuagint version of the scriptures translated approx 280 BC for inclusion in the Library of Alexandria.

This prophecy was so powerful and precise that Satan did everything in his power to withstand Daniel receiving it. It took Michael arriving to assist Gabriel before he could complete his assigned task, it was a legal mechanism at work, the law was being revealed as (to be) fulfilled in a detail never before witnessed in the flesh, Satan was objecting, it was straightway recording his ultimate end, as if a death row inmate was finally being given his execution date,

He knew that once Daniel recorded it, that it would then become a matter of legal scripture that God almighty in heaven would see to it that not one ‘jot or tittle’ could be undone before it would be fulfilled,

Satan can withstand even the might of an Angel sent from heaven for a time but he cannot prevent the mechanism of the Law of Moses enacted upon the Earth by the faith actions of a few righteous believers and the insertion of Messiah into that same Holy mechanism to then take the Law upon himself (in the flesh) to fulfill it by the will of the Father only, this is what is meant here:

“Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.” Zechariah 4:6

That timing told to Daniel meant Satan’s undoing, but it still arrived in a way that he and those witnessing it at that very moment could not perceive until after it was past,

“Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.” 1 Corinthians 2:8

I have read this time line before, and yes, it is incredibly precise.

God is the master mathematician.

These verses have always intrigued me regarding Israel and His return.

"The years of our life are seventy, or even by reason of strength eighty; yet their span is but toil and trouble; they are soon gone, and we fly away."

Psalm 90:10

"From the fig tree learn its lesson: as soon as its branch becomes tender and puts out its leaves, you know that summer is near. So also, when you see all these things, you know that he is near, at the very gates. Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place."

Matthew 24: 32-34

I believe in a pre-tribulation rapture per 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18, Matthew 24:42-44, 1 Corinthians 15:52, 1 Thessalonians 5:4, and others.

We cannot set dates. That was Harold Camping's territory.

We don't know the day nor the hour.

But we can read the Bible. 1948 + 80 (the max of a generation) is 2028. Subtracting 7 years of Tribulation, Christ may (I say may for all the angry pouncers out there) return for His Bride between now and 2021. But this is the Lord's call. Did He gives us clues, the prophets, and guidance in Scripture? Well, Daniel's time-line sure was accurate. God wanted that information out there. I believe Jesus gave us strong information as well regarding the rebirth of Israel and His return for His bride and the beginning of the Tribulation. Just my opinion.

Considering all the other things that are falling into place, like countries calling for a cashless society, the muslim invasion of the world facilitated by its leaders, America abandoning Israel, Russia becoming a force to be reckoned with, events in the ME, it sure looks like the stage is being set.

You are confusing the two commandments, vs 23 the commandment went forth to send the angel to interpret the vision

The time that “Messiah to be “Cut off�€”

Date are a curious thing as those dates are ascertained by the calculation of men of the flesh and even the men within Christianity do not agree with the numbers of the years in Babylon, and the Hebrew calendar has even omitted a huge chunk of years from its calendar altogether so to hide the fact that Jesus is the Messiah. And the fact is, we are told that we do not need to know the year, it is the ‘season’ (appointed time/mo’edim) of the Father that is important. And when we are focused in His appointed times rather than the misguided traditional holy times that men appointed, we will not be caught as a thief in the night because we know perfectly well what HE means when He says, we shall not know the day or the hour. If we do not get the ‘season’ of Messiah's ‘cutting off’ right, we will be off on all the rest.

Would you agree that this means the day of crucifixion? And if so, then your conclusion that the year 33 is the year does not support what is written in the Gospels, that the day of crucifixion was a Wednesday, then the High Sabbath of Unleavened Bread, followed by the prep day for the weekly Sabbath, then the resurrection on the 3rd day because the next day, sunset as the weekly Sabbath was coming to a close, the tomb was found empty. 3 days & 3 nights. As Christ said there are 12 hours in a day, there are also 12 hours in a night, this means that for Christ to be the first fruits of the resurrection, the first fruits are harvested before they are presented, Christ rose as the Sabbath was coming to a close and then at some point later on the first day of that week, which was the appointed time of the representing of the first fruits, Christ ascended into heaven.

It is all written in the Pentateuch, the Prophets & the Psalms and so unless one interprets Daniel's prophecy according to Moses, one will miss the mark as to when to be watching for Christ's return.

Mat 24:43 But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what part of the night the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and would not have let his house be broken into.

According to the calendar our Sovereign taught Ezekiel, in Ezekiel 46:1, the 14th day of every month is the 6th and final work day before the 7th day SabbaTh, the 15th day.

And the day after the Sabbath, is the 1st day of the next work week. That day is the 16th.

Which is exactly what happened
Death of Lamb-14th day of month-6th work day-it is finished
Burial rest- 15th day- weekly AND annual 7th Day Sabbath
Resurrection- 16th Day- 1st day of the week

Passover-14
Unleavened Bread-15
Wave Sheaf- 16

Just like Leviticus says.. Confirmed in the New Testament using the Father’s calendar template- also found in Scripture.

So, if Passovder really landed on a Pope Gregory Wednesday in the year He laid His life down as a Lamb, then it means He was Resurrected on the pope’s Friday.

But people assume the Roman Pope Gregory calendar is Biblical. It isn’t. It’s a counterfeit. A clever one.

And one little Bible verse,Ezekiel 46:1, can expose it as such.. And really mess up religion and doctrines and teachings in the process..

But that is why His Word is sharp like a two edged sword!

Burial happened before sunset on the day of Passover, 3 days, 3 nights equals 72 hours, Messiah rose just before sunset on the weekly Sabbath, hence He is Lord of the Sabbath. It's not rocket science, it is biblical common sense that when Jesus said 3 days & 3 nights, and then He said that there are 12 hours in the day, this means there are also 12 hours in the night ... 72 hours.

Why do theologians need to complicate things? They are just as bad as lawyers who purport to make the law complicated, without the complicating of things, men don't make any money from the selling of it.

He wasn’t in the tomb 3 days and nights. He would have broken the law of sacrifice in Leviticus 7:18.

No sacrifice was to be consumed on the 3rd day. Or it would have been deemed an corruption and abomination. And He didn’t let His Holy one see corruption .

3 days and 3 nights is a Parable. But people will not see that if they think the popes Saturday is the Father’s Sabbath. It is not. And ezekiel 46:1 starts the ball rolling.

You begin with a counterfeit calendar than try to make it work.it won’t lead to Truth.

In Ezekiel 46 He separates New Moon Days from His 6 Work Days and His Sabbath, rendering your,and the pope’s counting of 6+1, inaccurate.

His scriptural count is 1+6+1 at the start of every of His months. Which is why Passover(14th) is always the 6th and final Work Day, even if it lands on a Pope gregory Tuesday.. It is why the first Sabbath Israel observed in the wilderness occurred on the 22nd Day of the 2nd month. The pattern of 1+6+1 holds.

He changes not . but time has. Thanks to Rome, which is what Daniel the prophet also predicted.

You confuse me. Daniel calls for the rebuilding of Jerusalem, it says nothing about the rebirth of Israel as a sovereign nation before Messiah's return. He even taught this in the parable of the owner of the vineyard in Matthew 21.

Therefore, what does what men of the flesh determined to name their nation have to do with the prophecy of Daniel? Everything as the parable of Mt 21 reveals who the final regime of Daniel chapter 2 that is ruling the land when Messiah returns. Se also Eze 11:13-15, 21:26-27
