How tragic it is when a fallen human being gives themselves totally over to the base and lawless practices of this little fallen world and sell their souls seeking to find satisfaction and contentment by living a godless and lawless life. In the end of one's godless vanity there is an ETERNAL price to be paid which has now become a HORRIFIC SOBERING REALITY (Psalm 14:1-3, Mark 8:36-37, Rom. 3; 5:12-21, Gal. 6:7-8, Jude 1:11-13, Rev. 20:11-15).
For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? Mark 8:36-37
David Bowie's death this week has multitudes around the world reflecting on his existence here in time. Mr. Bowie was one of society's arch godless trendsetters who pushed the limits and boundaries of Almighty God's moral absolutes like none other for his time (Rom. 1:18-32). David was a mighty lawless tool and lewd vanguard in the hands of the god of this world in seeking to transform and destroy the Judeo/Christian culture worldwide (Matt. 7:16-18, Rom. 1:18-32, Jude 1:8-13,18). David Bowie is a trendsetter hero and worshiped by millions throughout the world for his anti - Creator trendsetting ways. What brief things I just shared about David Bowie is well known by all and his opinions and thoughts about Almighty God are his own judge on this matter.

Actually, whatever David Bowie might have done or how he lived his life is a complete unknown to me. Not everyone pays attention to the lives of stars.
That may be so...but for me on a personal level I was able to better understand the death of my father....who passed away after with a cancer....not diagnosed till much too late by the British NHS ...and I was unable to visit with him in his final days.

There has been so much drivel on here over this person that has surprised me. Bowie did not stand for anything that this site seems to represent. An atheist, one who engaged in homosexuality, lived a rather perverted lifestyle. If anyone on this site saw a child dressed like Ziggy Stardust they would be horrified and condemning the parents, yet he is painted as an admirable trendsetter. He was an opportunist who prostituted himself for fame and glory. Rather a sad life.

He made a couple of albums I liked at the time. The Diamond Dogs show/tour was good (I was of course thoroughly wasted at the time).
Beyond that I can’t say as I much care one way or the other about the man. He was an entertainer.

I knew nothing about him other than his name: could not name a single song for which he was known. What was I missing?
And David Bowie was class? How many other people die and people on this site post good riddance? This piece merely points out the flaws in a pop culture figure who is being idolized who does not deserve to be idolized. Had David Bowie been repentant and made piece with God, this would be a very different article. Instead, a man who embodied much of what people on this site abhor (pop culture, homosexuality, adultery, overt sexualization, etc) passed, sad though anyone’s passing may be.
Not much Christian charity in evidence there...
Public figure. He made his money off of selling his music. Alot of TV preachers are in the same boat.
