Despite riri’s cantankerous remark, to suggest Christianity is an organized religion is absurd. Furthermore, Christianity is not a religion.
Yes. I’m a fan of the writings of C. S. Lewis. But it’s his writings that I am a fan of. He was just a man like me. If this man you mentioned imparted a lot of unique wisdom, I would be interested. The challenge I have is that much of the old “extrabiblical” information is myth.
I laid hands on a person and they were miraculously healed. I’d be embarassed if someone saw me as “special” for that. Jesus did it. It wasn’t even me.

Well, I’m sure he existed. I hit the Wikipedia article to get the basics. Sadly, I can’t know everything about everything so I must choose what I have a cursory knowledge of and what I drill into.
