“I’M THE FRICKEN POPE, SO SHUT THE HELL UP, ” he explained.
What's Up With the Synod ^ | October 17, 2015 | Hilary White

Posted on 10/18/2015 10:17:38 AM PDT by ebb tide

Pope Francis marks 50th anniversary of Synod’s institution

“Finally,” explained Pope Francis, “the synodal process culminates in listening to the Bishop of Rome, called upon to speak authoritatively [It. pronunciare] as ‘Shepherd and Teacher of all Christians’: not on the basis of his personal beliefs, but as the supreme witness of the Faith of the whole Church, the guarantor of the Church’s conformity with and obedience to the will of God, to the Gospel of Christ and the Tradition of the Church.”

And in totally, we swear, completely unrelated news…

Traits of narcissistic personality disorder: The most telling thing that narcissists do is contradict themselves. They will do this virtually in the same sentence, without even stopping to take a breath. It can be trivial (e.g., about what they want for lunch) or it can be serious (e.g., about whether or not they love you). When you ask them which one they mean, they’ll deny ever saying the first one, though it may literally have been only seconds since they said it — really, how could you think they’d ever have said that? You need to have your head examined!

UPDATE: an explanatory comment from my Guy Inside

“He’s fudging… he’s strongly implying infallibility, but not saying that he will pronounce infallibly.

“He wants everyone to come away with ‘Whoa… this is infallible. We hear and obey!’ but leaving plausible deniability to say, ‘No, no, I never claimed this particular bit was infallible….'”

I don't have mishmash. I have the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, the status of adopted child of God through Christ's atoning sacrifice, the bread of life in God's holy word, the grace to carry my cross daily through the help of God's Holy Spirit, and the promise of salvation and life everlasting in the presence of God through acceptance of His free gift of salvation.

All else is "mishmash," the doctrine of fallen man and of demons.

Because Catholics unlike protestants are not in the habit of continually misinterpreting the Bible.

Oh that made my sides hurt from laughing.

Catholics believing they don't misinterpret the Word....keep 'em coming. Good to have some laughs.

So, when your pope tells you to embrace faggotry as an alternative lifestyle, or condone the murder of innocents, why then, you’ll embrace faggotry and murder innocents, just like a good little obedient robot. Scripture be damned!

That doesn’t seem to be a sound plan if your goal is to live together with GOD for eternity.

Are you even a Catholic? Do you not believe in Christ’s teaching on the indissolubility of marriage until the death of one spouse?

Do you condone adultery?

Actually, this is a lot different. Popes have never spoken against the Magisterium before. Francis is doing his own church, he’s going to get rid of the CDF, and then it’s going to break up into a multiplicity of national “churches” that will do their own doctrinal considerations and at all times be subject to the state. Read his speech and you will see that for him it is all about making everything the perfect United Nations world.

First of all its not my pope it’s The Pope. Second, he hasn’t asked anyone to embrace “fagotry”. Third, he knows a hell of a lot more about religion than your hick ass.

>> Wow! We do have an anti-Francis crowd here!

I plead “unashamedly guilty” to that charge.

I know a heretic man-pleaser when I see one.

Ok, Protestants - go off and tend to your own churches, all of which permit divorce and remarriage, contraception and, in many cases, homosexual “marriage.” At least the Church has been trying to stand up to these things.

Protestant churches...not so much.

I almost hit the abuse button on that one. But I decided to let it stand, so everyone can see just how much (or little) of the light of CHRIST manages to escape out of the dark soul of a militant catholic.

Even that is now being debated at Francis’ evil synod.

Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten son is The High Priest of the Catholic Church. It is His church. The foundation of the faith are its holy sacraments to include The Eucharist, his own body and blood which quite literally feeds His flock.

The pope is merely the Shepherd of the church. As a human he is not without sin. No pope has been. Shepherds sometimes lose their way and their flocks, but Christ is merciful as is His father.

Satan rejoices with great laughter when those who profess the divinity of God’s son fight among themselves. Christ’s greatest commandment is to love one another. Let’s get to it.

Lol. I know! I was just called a “militants catholic” for not buying the BS protestants have been paddling for the last 500 years. I don’t think that is being militants as much as it is bring smart. Love how Bible worshippers get all in a tizzy when you don’t buy their lies.

God gave me his word, it’s extremely arrogant for any man to claim otherwise.
