What Would Jesus Say About Homosexual Sex?
Traditional Catholic Priest ^ | July 5, 2015

Posted on 07/06/2015 7:37:24 AM PDT by NYer

This whole perversion of the Word of God began when Luther said each person should interpret the Bible for themselves.  This has led to so called’ christians’ condoning and accepting homosexual sex and ‘marriage’.  Luther is ‘turning in his grave’.  He said that ‘having sex without having children was the sin of sodomy too.’

joaquin y ana 2

This slippery slide where christians accepting this perversion began with the condoning of divorce.  It was well brought out when CNN asked Donald Trump what he believed about homosexual ‘marriage’.  Trump responded by saying he is in favor of ‘traditional marriage’.  They then called him on having married 3 times.

So here it is.  King Henry the VIII made his own church, ‘The Church of England’ so that he could get around what Jesus said; ‘What God has united, let no man divide” and kill two of his wives and remarry four more times.   He modified his christianity to suite his sexual desires.  He then went on to steal Catholic property, killed thousands and caused years of persecution and starvation of Catholics in England and Ireland.

Then Margaret Sanger paid Episcopalian preachers to condone Eugenics and the use of birth control.

Then came the condoning of murdering the babies in the womb.  Many ‘christian’ churches have gone along with this evil and have called it good.

Now we have the same with homosexual sin.  More and more of the christian churches are supporting the sinful lifestyle of homosexuality and justifying it with perverted theology.

Homosexuality-society-5On July 1st 2015, in Salt Lake City, the Episcopal Church “voted overwhelmingly to approve two resolutions that effectively codify theological support for same-sex marriage. The first (A054) formally approves gender-neutral and same-sex marriage ceremonies, while the second (A036) changes the current marriage “canons” to allow clergy to officiate same-sex marriages using either a marriage rite from the Episcopal Book of Common Prayer or a “trial” liturgy.

..the resolution actually includes what amounts to a “conscience clause” for bishops and priests who disapprove of same-sex marriage to opt-out of performing unions, although they are required to accommodate couples in some way in every diocese.

“This is a definitive step for the Episcopal church,” Baker said. “To have this vote pass so soon after the Supreme Court decision…It was just breathtaking.”

“God has clearly been at work in the culture and in the church, changing the hearts and minds of Episcopalians,” he added.  ThinkProgress.com

This week the Presbyterian Church of American also voted to ‘embrace an inclusive definition of marriage‘.

‘The measure sought to replace a phrase in the church’s constitution that defined marriage as “a civil contract between a woman and a man” with a sentence reading “marriage involves a unique commitment between two people, traditionally a man and a woman, to love and support each other for the rest of their lives.”

A Presbyterian McNeil said; “We rejoice that all couples can now see those relationships solemnized before God and the Christian community in marriage, at the discretion of ministers and sessions,    there is still more work to be done to ensure that the church guarantees LGBT people equal rights — and theological standing — across the board.’

Carmen Fowler LeBorge, also a Presbyterian, disagreed with the change.  She said that “Any prophetic voice that the denomination may have once had to speak truth and call people to repentance is now lost. All she can do now is echo the voices of the world for she has abandoned the clarion call to bear faithful witness to the God who has clearly spoken on this matter.”

For the Presbyterian ministers there is also a conscience clause.  They do not have to ‘officiate same-sex unions, and pastors can individually decline to perform a marriage — just as they can with any straight couple.’  ThinkProgress.com

Homosexuality-society-ranking-02A large Evangelical Christian Church in San Francisco, (City Church), just sent out a letter where they will not longer require celibacy for homosexual members.  “Imagine feeling this from your family or religious community, ‘If you stay, you must accept celibacy with no hope that you too might one day enjoy the fullness of intellectual, spiritual, emotional, psychological and physical companionship. If you pursue a lifelong partnership, you are rejected.’ This is simply not working and people are being hurt. We must listen and respond.”   religiousnewsservice.com

A New York Mega Church pastor Lentz, when asked in an interview with CNN if he every talks about homosexuality.  “Yes, it’s a misquote because I do discuss it, just not the way people want me to, When it comes to homosexuality, I refuse to let another human being or a media moment dictate how we approach it. Jesus was in the thick of an era where homosexuality, just like it is today, was widely prevalent. And I’m still waiting for someone to show me the quote were Jesus addressed it on the record in front of people. You won’t find it because he never did.”

I guess this minister never read Matthew 15:19, ‘For from the heart come forth evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false testimonies, blasphemies.’   Fornication means any sexual activity outside of marriage, (masterbation, premarital sex, homosexual sex).

‘The couple shared that gay men and women were welcomed at Hillsong NYC, with Lentz stating, “We have a lot of gay men and women in our church and I pray we always do.”

Mrs. Lentz added, “It’s not our place to tell anyone how they should live, it’s – that’s their journey.”  christianpost.news

We are so blessed to be traditional Catholics and to believe in the complete Holy Bible.  We have read where God calls homosexual sex an abomination and who destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah.

Jesus had this message to those who willfully sinned. Repent and sin no more. I haven’t found anywhere in the Gospels where Jesus said “I accept you in your sin and you may continue to sin and be saved.”

And it’s not just homosexuals, its murderers, adulterers, thieves, and liars.

You left out THE MOST IMPORTANT VERSE of THAT chapter : But even more important is John 1:1-16 and Leviticus 20:13 .
It PROVES that Jesus is also the God of the Old Testament.
And connects Him to His Commandments, Laws, and Statutes.

TO TOLERATE HOMOSEXUALS IS EVIL.
This is what we get when we FAIL to OBEY God.
For it is written: Those who support homosexuals are against our Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ.
These anti Christ people only bring destruction on us ALL.
I have NO sympathy for homosexuals!

Homosexuality is a "Mark" of disobedience.
Someone once asked The answer is in the definition of "REPROBATE". And the reason"why" is given in the Bible.

God has a cure for homosexuals.

"Indeed I tremble for my country when I reflect
that God is just,
that his justice cannot sleep forever."

There are errors in the JW doctrine, unquestionably. But at least they don’t use their religion as a cloak to cover their wickedness.

The same could be said for most “charismatics” I’ve known.

If any “Christians” agree with this ruling they need to do some soul searching because if they are willing to turn a blind eye to what God clearly called an abomination in his eyes. Why should they even bother with the charade of Sunday School, church, the “Christian life” and all that, they are deluding themselves. In fact I contend they are worse than secular humanist because they know better yet have decided they are their own god and can now speak for God as to what is sin and what is not. God hasn’t changed one bit since creation.

All you have to remember is CCC 841.

When you’re not worshipping the One, True, Living God, this is what happens....

The PCUSA has been apostate for decades. Thank The Lord the PCA came out of it in 72-73.

Praying for RCs to see the same Light and come out of the harlot that is the Roman Catholic Cult.

Just the opposite. Despite their denomination’s clear stance against Sodomite marriage, 25% of Baptists thought it was more important to be fashionable.

Correct - excellent point & ditto & thumbs up here. These threads are becoming tiresome. Don’t tell me to not open them as I don’t for the most part. I’m just of the opinion that this is not a place where conservatives ought to expend energy or electrons.

So only 25% of Baptists disagreed with the ruling? Meaning 75% agreed with it? Horsepucky

I think that you are misreading the graph. The bar shows the percentage of agreement. The color shows whether or not the denomination has issued a statement in agreement or disagreement. So what is being showed is that 25% of the Baptists agreed with acceptance of homosexuality as a lifestyle and the denomination (SBC?) issued a statement of disapproval. The graph is confusing in that regard.

I don’t think the big sin here is homosexuality, that is the sentence, not the crime, the crime is idolatry.

Look at the tactics of the activist zealots, look at the atheism and over-the-top bonkers hatred. So many are spiritual sickness bombs and honestly I think they are our early warning system in American society. We need to turn back to God as a nation, and figuring out how to diffuse some of our more flamboyant fellow citizens will offer us lessons on where we are going wrong as a nation.

Possibly, I found the post very confusing.

I know many Catholics who support the ruling. To suggest teh Catholic Church is the answer while it serves the sacrament to the likes of Kerry and Pelosi is laughable.

I think Jesus would ask the people of that day “Do you remember Sodom and Gomorrah and their destruction?”

“That is what is coming to you.”

While it's admirable for the author to criticize Protestant denominations, the author failed to note the following:

So please don't blame Luther. It's most likely if the Catholic church started to practice what the supposedly preach, their membership would sorely decrease.

Seems like the Religions who support this deception also have the lest restrictive methods for becoming an ordained minister. For example the Unitarians are such a joke on that Big Bang did an episode where all the cast went online and paid a fee to become “ministers” to marry another cast member.

Bottom line
Jude 1:4 describes them “For certain individuals whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord;” And,

Matthew 7:21-23 is the law for them unless they repent...
21”Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. 22”Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ 23”And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.’

We are so blessed to be traditional Catholics and to believe in the complete Holy Bible. We have read where God calls homosexual sex an abomination and who destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah.

Why the self-congratulations when the graphs show that almost half of the traditional Catholics accept homosexuality as an acceptable lifestyle? Didn't the author notice that most of the Protestant denominations scored much better, the exceptions being the so-called mainstream denominations which most of us have written off as apostate? The graphs show that the traditional Catholics have some work to do in their own house.

The Martin Luther introduction is just lame. Perversion of God's Word is consistently noted throughout both Old and New Testament and hardly originated with Martin Luther. I have no doubt that if Martin Luther were alive today he would be speaking out against homosexuality in far louder voice than any Catholic spokesman has.

Before Luther the only Bible was the CATHOLIC Bible. The first sentence is correct.

Your graphs are from 2007......so out dated to say the least.

Overall I think most true Christians oppose same sex-marriages, saying that they ‘support traditional marriage’ as that between a man and woman is simply presenting their opinion from the positive side rather than negative.

I think this is the right way to go...”supporting” ...as Jesus calls us to take a stand.

...”Then the LORD God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man. The man said,.... “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called ‘woman, ‘ for she was taken out of man.” .... For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.”.....Gen 2:22-24

....” A loving doe, a graceful deer— may her breasts satisfy you always, may you ever be captivated by her love”..... Prov. 5:19

....” Since there is so much immorality, each man should have his own wife, and each woman her own husband. ...Icor. 7

...” Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral”.... Heb. 13 4-7

...”Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind, it is abomination. Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things”.... Lev.18:22.24

...”If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination”...Lev.20:13

Or know ye not that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not led astray. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate men, nor homosexuals”...I cor. 6;9
