Another interviewer for a different job asked me if I let “my husband rule me”. AND if I “planned to have kids”.
I agree with many here. It is time for parts of the country where conservatism is strong to secede from the USA. I’m all for it.

If you live in a mid atlantic state it probably does have large rural liberal areas but most of the country isn’t that way.

First of all, Christian churches should cease to partner with civil society on marriage - they should no longer require a civil marriage license to perform a religious wedding. If the couple wishes to avail themselves of any civil benefits of marriage, they will be told they must comply with relevant civil law, but that is not the church’s business.
Ministers must distance themselves from cooperating with a satanic, secular regime.
And here is the supreme irony: for decades, liberal Christians have chastised regular Christians for their too-cozy relationship with “the American Way.” But now, it is LIBERAL Christians who want a cozy relationship with the NEW American Way.
The only way to convert them is to shove that right back in their smug faces. THEY are now the Americans who identify their Christianity with the values of secular America. I guarantee you, THAT will sting, because they are so used to imagining themselves as prophetic outsiders. .
I didn’t connect those dots, but you’re correct. The other states left behind would have a very stark choice: leave or accept the socialist yoke.
A complete redo of our government would be ideal. CWII will probably lead to that. Otherwise prepare for rhe Shemitah because it is coming.
Our country needs to humble itself and admit it is a concrete society, existing in space and time, finite like all societies are, and not “Liberty.” As a real society, not open-ended “Liberty,” it can do things like illegalizing communist parties to protect itself. It is no slave to anyone’s abstractions unto infinity.
