And then I can give you multiple official pronouncements by past popes to contradict your fantasies.

As we can see; OP's mean NOTHING if they cannot be claimed to be INFALLIBLE.

But the back & forth on this topic typically degenerates into several kinds of Christians telling each other why they’re going to Hell when they die.

Typically?

Strange; as I've been in a LOT of these threads; and I've not seen this 'typical' rhetoric that you have.

And all the snarky comebacks do absolutely nothing to advance dialogue.

Neither will all the appearences by 'Mary' and her 'suggestions' on what and how to pray.

They are both big time cults. The INCs founder, one Felix Y Manalo, died back in the 60s. His son, Erano Manalo took over then. Erano died in 2009. They had a virtual state funeral for him, the kind reserved for presidents. The grandson is running the show now. Quiboloy, who is still alive, actually claims to be the annointed one of God. Pretty blasphemous I would say. Both are just well organized extortion rackets. I wonder if we could say that about any other man made religions? 😀

The word "eucharist" came around the middle of the 1300's and it is a ceremony, not an object

WHAT?!?!?!?

I thought JESUS started it all at the Last Supper!

NOW what shall I believe?

Desperation?

The article is less than a month old.

Do you expect things to be posted on the day they were put online?

More pointless religious bickering.

Oh Great One!

How do YOU know it is pointless?

The Mass is a re-presentation of the Last Supper.

Then did Jesus have His disciples break the Law by drinking blood on the Passover?

I was looking in GoogleEarth© for Chinese ships in the Spratlys and came across one (the?) “Iglesia ni Cristo” church: on Palawan; just south of Puerto Princesa.

Well, the EO say Rome is in schism and Rome says the EO is in schism.

Can y’all make up your minds and let us know what y’all decide?

Unbloody sacrifice

http://www.vatican.va/archive/ENG0015/__P41.HTM

1367 The sacrifice of Christ and the sacrifice of the Eucharist are one single sacrifice: "The victim is one and the same: the same now offers through the ministry of priests, who then offered himself on the cross; only the manner of offering is different." "In this divine sacrifice which is celebrated in the Mass, the same Christ who offered himself once in a bloody manner on the altar of the cross is contained and is offered in an unbloody manner."188

Which raises the question then, of where the blood that they claim Catholics are eating when they partake of the eucharist, comes from.....

I haven’t seen anyone post that you have to be a Baptist to be saved.

Or a Lutheran.

Or an Episcopalian.

Or Pentecostal.

Or any of a host of other denominations.

I have read several statements of faith of other “Protestant” denominations (which are typically the ones vilified) and not a one of them says that submission to their church and the head of their denomination is required for salvation.
