“The material you’re linking to is written by a man who seriously thinks Paul’s letters are actually the work of Simon of Samaria and then were reworked by a cabal of “proto-orthodox” Christians. I can’t take Roger Parvus’ work seriously - and neither should you.”

This is an ad hominem logical fallacy.

His examination of facts and arguments stands alone and any objective judgment must evaluate those facts. The issues he raises are accurate. His solutions should be evaluated on their merits and may or may not be correct.

At least that is what truth seekers do.

No. If he believes in nutty conspiracy theories it affects his work. And he does. And it does.

“At least that is what truth seekers do.”

He’s not a truth seeker. He deliberately seeks out nutty conspiratorial ideas which undercut traditional Christian beliefs (such as Paul’s authorship of his own letters) and champions them. And he’s apparently your ONLY modern support for your false claims. He’s IT. You chose a real winner there.
