“I’m a woman.” So said Bruce Jenner, during his coming out appearance this past Friday on a special two-hour edition of the ABC News program “20/20.”
And that’s not the only shocking revelation Jenner confided to interviewer Diane Sawyer. “She” also claimed to be a Republican, a conservative and a Christian.
Well, it’s conceivable that Jenner is a Republican. After all, there’s a LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) group that calls itself the Log Cabin Republicans.
It’s also possible that Jenner is a “conservative.” Indeed, there have been any number of conservative lawmakers – including former Idaho Senator Larry Craig, a homosexual, and former Florida congressman Mark Foley – who were outed as homosexuals.
But there’s no way that Jenner, who is “transitioning” from male to female, is a true Christ follower.
Indeed, in his letter to the Church at Corinth, the Apostle Paul advised: “Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.”
Does that mean any and every one of us who has committed any of those aforementioned sins is unsaved; that we have condemned ourselves to “the second death,” as John of Patmos put it, when we appear before the judgment seat of Christ?
No.
Because, the Scripture assures us: “If we confess our sins, He is just and faithful to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us of all unrighteousness.”
Conversely, “If we say that we have no sin,” as Jenner, the transgender in the making maintains, “we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.”
So it matters not if Jenner attends church every Sunday; if he tithes what earns for his upcoming reality show; if he reads his Bible every day; if he prays first thing each morning, and last thing every night.
If he unrepentantly undergoes a sex change, if he refuses to acknowledge that doing so is an abomination in the eyes of God, he will be in open rebellion against his Creator.
That’s why Christ warned us, everyone: “If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.”
What that says is that we are not to surrender ourselves to sin; to deceive ourselves that God will forgive us for our unconfessed, unrepented adultery or financial wrongdoing or substance abuse or acts of violence or twisted sexual orientation.
If Jenner truly was a Christian, he would not blithely embrace transgenderism. No, he would fall on his knees and ask the Lord to free him from Satan’s grip. For greater is He who is in Bruce Jenner – who is in all of us struggling with sin – than he who is in the world.

Perhaps not, but God provided for the creation of the existence of Freemartin cattle and Humans such as the children of the Batista family and many other families in the Dominican Republic, Papua New Guinea, and elsewhere.

If he produced no children would you still insist he had to be born a man, meaning a male? If so, why?

They had to call him back for reprogramming once, he just kept smoking cigarettes, drinking scotch, staring out the window, mumbling “pooty-poot. jenner. woman. mommy. puty-poot.”... Once he thought he was a cat, couldn’t get him to stop singing Michael Bolton.
Too much voltage can do that. They just get him back on his meds, do a little hypnosis, and badabing, in a couple weeks he’s back on track, goes back to his “cover” life.

After having read an article on these people, the problem is genetic...Constrained to one family over a few generations...
One interesting thing is these children were born with ‘not so identifiable’ female genitalia either...So it is not to say these children were born of the opposite gender...If they were born with those parts that were different than both boys and girls, and they all gained the appearance of boys at puberty, seems they should have been raised as boys and not girls...
As far as the DNA is concerned, it sounds like this is a pretty primitive (and old) tribe where testing was possibly not up to par...
I don’t see how this apparent biological exception to the normal rule could be considered normal for mankind...
What it takes to be saved is to be incorporated into Christ.

Once again, God makes no mistakes. Born a man, die a man. All the ranting and raving and trying to convince someone with common sense is an exercise in futility. Jenner has a mental disorder. It’s call being a man and wanting to dress up like a woman, put lipstick on and prance around and pretend (like little kids do, but 99.9% of grown-ups don’t), that he’s a woman. Jenner is a drag queen. Nothing else. Maybe he can find another drag queen to marry him.
Is there any rational basis for this spontaneous human sex change scenario other than BBC anecdotes ? I know the trannies would love it - I mean with mentally normal individuals.
Guess what Bruce, or Brucette, or whatever you have decided to call your proverted self, Jesus Christ sees you as a sinner and He will not accept your sex change. You are destined for a very warm place and it ain’t the beach. Like all sex changers, you have lost your simple mind.
And what is their genetic sex as observable via the chromosomes?
I ask because it apparently doesn't interfere with reproduction, if --- as you say --- it is an inherited condition.
Again you’re mixing what it takes to be eternally saved with what it takes to live a victorious Christian life. The easiest part of being a Christian is getting saved because Jesus has done it all. When you preach something other than the gospel of the grace of Christ for eternal salvation, you ignore the heart of the gospel of grace as spelled out in Romans 3:30-8:33, mislead others, and are in danger yourself as Galatians 1:6-9 warns.

I’m not suggesting anything, one way or another. It is a matter of observational record that Human sexual characteristics are determined by a combination of genetic programming through the chromosomes, hormonal effects, and many other medical and biological effects. Just how far those effects extend into determining social behavior is subject to continuing research and very contentious debate.
Was you question intended to include all or some homosexuals? Was you question intended to include persons who are intersexed?
